The word burst out of her like nothing she had felt before. It winded her, making her gasp for air as it threw the men before her back, making them stumble and stagger where they stood.
In the back of her mind, something niggled and itched, trying to remind her that it wasn’t quite what it should be. More tricks and questions she supposed.

She repeated, trying to find that missing piece. As the guards stumbled again and Vilkas cried at her to stop it, Niamh ignored them and raked her fingers through her hair. The action did little to massage what was there out in the open and she huffed in frustration.

“Niamh by the gods will you stop that!” Vilkas shouted out and shook her roughly, breaking her out of her thoughts. She scowled at him and pulled a face, opening her mouth to SHOUT the word again.
A gloved hand covered her mouth and she coughed in surprise.
“Stop.” He repeated, taking his hand away from her face. “Or at least turn the other way.”
“Bah.” She blushed, not wanting to admit that she had forgotten about them in her thoughts. “You Nords are all so sensitive.”
“We should get back to the Jarl to collect your reward.” Vilkas told her, his voice still quiet so that they others did not listen.
“What else would you have me do?” Niamh eyeballed him, seeing from the guilty expression that flashed across his face when she spoke that he did not intend to leave her then.
“I’d like you to speak to Kodlak, my… He is a great warrior, and very wise, he’ll know what to do about your Thu’um.”
“Thu’um.” Niamh tested the word out. It sounded nice, not a Nord word but one that reminded her of the dragons shouting in the skies. “What would your master know of shouting and dragons?”
“Before he joined the companions, Kodlak-“

I'm blown away by the response from you guys! I'm so happy that you all enjoyed the last chapter so much. I'll try to update it more often if I can, it can take me a while though since I work full time and don't always get the chance to sit down at write.
Just as a heads up! I'm not just using Irish, I'll be using Scots, Welsh and even Cornish for the phrases that Niamh speaks, that way I get to make you all cringe at my poor use of the languages :)
