Meme Announcements!

ANNOUNCEMENTS: UPDATED 12/16/2017

Happy Holidays, fellow Kinkmemers! I have returned and have no reasonable excuse for my absence except LIFE. I will be working on updating the archives. If anyone sees anything amiss, please let me know.

I am also hoping to find another Mod and an Archivist.

The more dedicated people we have in this Meme the less chance of it dying. I admit that being the sole keeper of the Meme is not great for the fandom. If something were to happen to me, for good, this place would go the way of the Fallout Kink Meme. Let's not let that happen! If anyone would be interested in Modding/Archiving, please drop me a line. Thanks! <3

Nadia’s hands were practically dripping with sweat as she knocked on Bolli’s door. She had rehearsed what she wanted to say over and over, but it still didn’t sound quite right in her head. Either way, nothing had prepared her for Nivenor opening the door instead.

“Nadia…” the Bosmer said, her eyebrows raised. Nadia flinched, and took a step backwards.

“I…I’m sorry. I can go—”

“No need.” To her surprise, Nivenor’s eyes softened, and she opened the door wider. “Come inside. Let’s talk.” Nadia couldn’t help but feel an anxious tug in the pit of her stomach, but she complied, following the well-dressed elf into the main room.

“How are you feeling?” Nivenor asked, taking a seat at the dining room table.

“I’m fine,” Nadia replied, sitting down as well and resting her hands in her lap. Nivenor smiled sadly.

“I have four sisters, my friend. Even if you’re early on, there are some obvious signs of pregnancy from the beginning.” Nadia blushed deeply, and the older woman nodded. “It’s okay. I won’t say anything.” She sighed, leaning forward on her hands. “Despite everything, I can’t bring myself to blame you. You wanted what you want, and you went after it. There’s no shame in that, and I can’t be angry at you for doing what I’ve done all my life.”

“I understand,” the Breton replied. “I could say the same about you.” She paused, looking up timidly at the elf. “If you don’t mind me asking…when did you start sleeping with Hemming?”

“I honestly don’t remember,” Nivenor admitted. “I seduced him the first time I learned that Bolli had slept with Haelga. I had meant to make it a one-time thing, but…he cares about me, I believe that. He gives me more than just things. Bolli…he’s a good man, but it’s been a long time since I’ve wanted more than just his money.”

“Do you love Hemming?” Nadia asked. The Bosmer bit her lip, then shrugged.

“I don’t think so. Not yet. But what I feel for him is more than what I feel for Bolli.” She looked up, her eyes searching the girl’s face. “What about you? Do you love Bolli?” Nadia faltered, unable to keep eye contact.

“…Yes. I do.”

“That’s good. I can’t speak for him, of course, but I believe he loves you, too.” Nivenor looked over at the door, making sure they were truly alone before she spoke again. “Can I tell you something, Nadia?” When the Breton nodded, her shoulders slumped, and she leaned in. “After Bolli caught us, Hemming asked me for my hand. He assumed that Bolli would leave me, so he thought he had free rein to do so.” Nadia tilted her head, her brow furrowed.

“Will you say yes?”

“I don’t know. I’m not certain Bolli will leave me, considering how long he’s been sharing your bed. Does he know that you’re pregnant?” The Breton shook her head. “Will you tell him?”

“I haven’t decided,” Nadia replied. “He seemed pretty upset when he found out about you and Hemming. I’m not sure if it would be good for him if I told him the truth.” She paused, suddenly very comfortable telling Nivenor the truth. It was amazing, really, how candid she could be with the wife of her long-time lover. “I’m leaving soon. I’m going to go to Whiterun and stay there until my child is a year or two old.” The elf nodded.

“That’s a good idea. I was going to recommend that you leave before you start to show.” She rose to her feet, and surprisingly lay a hand on the girl’s shoulders. “This is no place for a child. I hope you find what you’re looking for in Whiterun.” Nadia smiled genuinely this time, standing as well.

“I hope you find what you’re looking for as well,” she replied, before turning away at last and returning to the city.

Bolli had grown accustomed to seeing Nadia standing at the fishery door before he showed up in the morning. As always, he smiled at the sight of her leaning against the wall, her typical distracted look on her face. However, his smile faded when he got closer and realized that her eyes were rimmed with red, either from crying or from sleeplessness.

“Are you feeling alright, love?” he asked gently, reaching for her hand. Nadia shook her head, pulling him along so that they were out of earshot of the guards.

“I need to talk to you,” she said weakly, leaning against the railing. “I needed to talk to my friend at the Guild last night, when I decided not to spend the night with you. There was…something I needed to figure out.” Bolli frowned deeply, the concern obvious in the lines on his face.

“Are you in trouble?” he asked, moving closer to her. Nadia braced herself for the worst.

“I’m carrying your child, Bolli.” She looked up desperately, watching his jaw go slack. “I found out recently, and I needed to talk to the Guild to give away my work—”

“Stop.” Bolli held up a hand, and Nadia’s eyes widened with fear. “Stop talking. I don’t need this information, Nadia.” The Breton stared at him, her palms flat at her sides.

“…You don’t…need this information?” she echoed, alarmed. Bolli finally looked up, his eyes blazing.

“First my wife sleeps with a Black-Briar, and now this?! Damn it, Nadia, I’m not going to deal with this!” he shouted. Nadia flinched, thrown off by his rage. She had never been the target of it before.

“I-I…I thought you’d be better than this,” she murmured. “I didn’t think you’d just throw me out…”

“Can you prove that it’s mine?” the fisherman asked, scoffing. Nadia fumed silently, and he rolled his eyes. “You ran off to the Guild last night, instead of sleeping with me. For all I know, one of those filthy thieves got you pregnant.”

“They’re not filthy!” Nadia raged, her fists clenched. “They’re my friends, and they’ve been a lot more understanding about this than you! And I’ll have you know that I haven’t slept with anybody else since we slept together for the first time! I’ve been loyal to you!” She stepped forward so sharply that Bolli couldn’t help but cringe, and her voice dropped in volume. “It’s your child, Bolli. You can’t deny that. And I’m going to Whiterun to raise it.” She moved away again, her face contorted with anger and disgust. “I’m leaving by carriage tonight. I don’t care if you come with me or not. But the way you’re acting right now says a lot about you.” With that, she stormed away, refusing to look the intrigued guard in the eye as she returned to the city, and Bolli stomped towards the fishery. The least he could do now was work, and keep his mind off of this dilemma.

Once the sun had disappeared, Nadia stepped out of the inn, a knapsack on her shoulder and her eyes down. The cover of darkness kept her safe as she headed for the carriage, only for her heart to sink. The stablemaster and his apprentice were the only people outside of the gates, and even they were going into their home for the night.

She wasn’t sure why she had expected anything else. As he had said over and over, he had a wife. He had a fishery. He had everything he needed in Riften. And she was just a want.

“I need to get to Whiterun,” she said softly, holding up the coins for the driver.

“Not a problem. Hop on in and get comfortable. It’s a pretty long ride.” Nadia obliged, clambering up to the wooden benches and leaning against the wall as the carriage shook into action.

“Beautiful night, isn’t it?” the driver asked, gesturing up at the stars above them. Behind him, out of his sight, Nadia was staring up at the sky as well, tears streaming freely down her face as Riften became smaller and smaller.

“Beautiful,” she repeated, quiet enough so that he couldn’t hear the tremble in her voice.

While Nadia was disappearing into the night, Bolli was rolling off of Haelga, panting and grinning.

“Gods, I forgot how good you felt,” he sighed, looking up at the ceiling. At his side, Haelga beamed, her eyes closed.

“I knew you’d be back for me in no time,” she said, resting her head on her lover’s broad chest. “You were just a bit distracted, weren’t you?” If he hadn’t just had an orgasm, Bolli would probably be angry at her boldness. However, he simply smiled, and even planted a kiss in Haelga’s blond hair.

“I was a fool to stop bedding you, at least,” he admitted. “You’re certainly the most skilled.” Haelga leaned up, pressing her bare breasts against him. “Maybe now we could leave this horrid city together, like you said we’d do.”

“Maybe,” Bolli agreed, knowing for certain that it wasn’t an option. Still, if it was possible that he would get another round, he would satisfy the insatiable woman beside him. Haelga tilted her head innocently, kissing the Nord’s bearded chin.

“It must be quite the weight off of your shoulders, being rid of both of them. Nadia isn’t coming back, Nivenor’s with someone else…” Now Bolli snapped back to attention, looking sullenly down at her.

“That much doesn’t matter,” he said firmly, convincing himself more than Haelga. “Nivenor and I slept with other people, but our marriage is still intact. I can promise you that.” Haelga rolled her eyes, moving back to her own pillow.

“Can you,” she replied sarcastically. “Then why are you back in my bed?” Bolli grinned over at her, leaning in for a kiss.

“Because you understand me, Haelga. You’re good to talk to, and your mouth is talented in other ways as well,” he teased. “Nivenor’s been overlooking my indiscretions for quite some time. It’s only fair that I do the same for her.” Despite his outer confidence, he couldn’t get the thought of Nadia’s accusatory glare out of his mind. He had a feeling that she would haunt him for quite some time. Her and…their child…

He was fortunately interrupted by Haelga’s lips on his neck. He smiled, relieved, and pulled her on top of him again. Maybe they didn’t have a future together, but he could always count on her to take his mind off of his troubles.

Bolli and Marise were talking in the marketplace the next afternoon when he was interrupted by a familiar self-assured voice.

“Hello, Bolli. Can we talk for a moment, somewhere quiet?”

The fisherman turned around to find himself face to face with Hemming Black-Briar himself. His shoulders tensed, and behind him, Marise took an anxious step back.

“I’m not very inclined to do so,” he admitted, “but if you can make it quick, I’ll gladly do it.” The two men retreated to the steps of the temple, only for Bolli to frown at him and cross his arms. “Start talking.”

“I just got back from speaking with Nivenor,” Hemming began, taking a step back to avoid the other man’s wrath. “I wanted to be the one to tell you, as a gentleman should.” Bolli scoffed, and Hemming looked away uncomfortably before continuing. “I asked for Nivenor’s hand quite some time ago. We can have your marriage to her dissolved, and then she’ll be free to marry me. She agreed to my terms today.” Bolli’s eyes widened, and he struggled to find the words.

“She…she did?” was all he managed to utter. Hemming nodded, somehow managing to look smug and apologetic all at once.

“She did. She said she’d be moving in with me tonight. I’m sorry, Bolli.” Before he could say any more, Bolli turned on his heel and dashed back home to who he thought was his wife.

Nivenor was packing her bags when her soon-to-be former husband burst into the house. She looked up, startled, at where Bolli stood, his chest heaving.

“I suppose you heard, then,” she said quietly, rising from her bag. “Hemming said that he would try and find you before you came home.”

“Is it true?” Bolli asked breathlessly, his eyes soaked with tears that he refused to let fall. “You’re going to marry him?”

“I am. He’s waited too long for me to pull him around anymore,” Nivenor explained, approaching him cautiously. “I wish I had been able to tell you about him before you found us like that. It was so humiliating.” She sighed, laying a comforting hand on Bolli’s arm. “I’m sorry, Bolli.”

“…Why?” he asked, barely managing to choke out the words. “We could have made it last.”

“But why should we?” the Bosmer asked. “Neither of us are happy. Why should we suffer through this marriage for the rest of our lives? What sense does that make?” When Bolli said nothing, she pulled away, returning to her packing as she continued. “You stayed with Nadia because she makes you happy. And I’m choosing Hemming because he makes me happy. There’s no shame in going after what you want, no matter what the priests at the temple teach you.” Bolli wiped his eyes fiercely, doing his best not to express any emotion regarding it.

“…What am I supposed to do now?” he asked bluntly. “She’s gone, and you’re leaving.”

“Go find her, then,” Nivenor said, leaning against the wall. “We talked before she left. She’s going to Whiterun.” Before she turned away, she gave the Nord a piercing look. “Do you want my advice, Bolli? Go to Whiterun, and give Nadia everything that you want to give her. Everything you couldn’t give me. You owe that to her.”

Bolli stumbled into the fishery, his eyes foggy with tears. Collapsing against the wall, he slid down and looked hopelessly up at the ceiling.

“Mara help me…” he whispered, pulling his hat off and wiping his eyes again. From behind the nearby wall, he was startled to hear an unfamiliar voice.

“Maybe she will, but I also can.” Delvin stepped out into the open, smiling wryly. “Not quite a god, though. Sorry to disappoint.” Bolli looked up, tense but too tired to actually stand.

“…I’m sorry. I can’t quite remember your name,” he admitted. He did recognize the thief’s armor that adorned the Breton, but he allowed him to sit beside him all the same.

“No problem. Delvin Mallory’s the name,” he replied. “I’m a friend of Nadia’s.” He shook his head, eying him irritably. “I was hoping we wouldn’t have this conversation. From the way she talked about you, I figured you’d go with her.” Bolli closed his eyes, resting his head against his knees.

“…I think I made a mistake, Delvin,” he said softly. The thief scoffed, stretching his legs.

“You think so? I know you made a mistake,” he said. Bolli winced, and Delvin couldn’t help but smile. “I don’t think I’m being that hard on the man who abandoned one of my best friends when she needed him most. She means a lot to me.”

“I’m sorry,” the Nord murmured, looking up at him. “I never wanted to hurt her. I never thought it would go this far.” He paused, allowing a few tears to fall as he spoke. “Nivenor left me for Hemming Black-Briar. I should have gone with Nadia from the beginning.” He sighed, leaning back against the wall. “I…she deserves so much better than I gave her.” Delvin stood abruptly, looking sharply down at the man below him.

“Then go and give her better,” he said curtly. “You’re not going to make anything better for either of you by sitting in this damn city and moping about how you screwed up.” With that, he strode back into the night, leaving Bolli to look up, stunned.

He knew what he had to do.

Bersi Honey-Hand was surprised to hear a knock on his door so late at night. He placed the vase he was cleaning aside and went to the door, cracking it open slightly to make sure he wasn’t letting in any unsavory characters.

“Oh, Bolli,” he said, surprised. “What brings you here so late?” He opened the door wider, allowing the fisherman to enter into the warmth of his shop.

“I have a gift for you,” Bolli said, reaching into his pocket. Bersi was stunned to see the paper that he slapped onto the counter.

“Bolli…this is…” He picked it up, rubbing his eyes to ensure that he wasn’t just imagining its contents. “Is this some kind of joke?”

“Not at all.” Bolli procured an inkpot and quill from his pocket, nudging them towards him encouragingly. “It’s all in order, all you need to do is sign. You’ll have complete control of the fishery and all of its assets, and if you need help with the employees, I’ve made sure that Tythis is ready and willing to help you get a hang of things.” Bersi stared at the fisherman, who was smiling brightly, and blinked incredulously.

“This…this is an honor, Bolli, but…why, after all this time?” he asked.

“I’m leaving the city, that’s why. I’m going to start over somewhere else, so I won’t need the fishery anymore. You and Drifa want to leave the city as well, and I’m giving you the means to earn enough money to do so. What you do with the fishery after that…well, that’s your decision.” Bersi gaped at him, but nodded slowly.

“…Okay,” he said slowly, dipping the quill in the inkpot. Bolli nodded triumphantly, pocketing the newly-signed document.

“Take care of your employees,” he advised him, heading for the door. “Good luck, Bersi. I hope our paths cross again one day.”

The rest of his night was simple enough. He placed the document on the dining table in Mistveil Keep, returned to his home, and packed anything he thought he might need. Most of it was gone regardless, either replaceable or taken by Nivenor. With two full bags, Bolli hurried from the city gates, awoke the carriage driver, and tossed his bags into the carriage.

“Take me to Whiterun,” he said proudly.

The sun had just risen when the carriage pulled into Whiterun. The whinny of the horse in front of him woke him from his nap, and he sat up groggily, looking around at the new city. Maybe it was the sunrise casting beams over the city, but he couldn’t help but feel that it was one of the most beautiful sights he had ever seen.

“Thanks for the ride,” he said sleepily, pulling his bags to his sides and climbing out of the carriage. He tossed the driver an extra few coins, then started up towards the city gates.

His heart was in his throat as he stood at the door to the small house that he had been pointed towards. He couldn’t help but feel nervous, and with good reason. After all, the rest of his life was ready to begin on the other side of the door.

He took a deep breath, and then knocked. The few moments before the door opened were some of the most stressful moments of his life, as was the silence that followed Nadia opening the door.

“…Bolli?” she asked, her beautiful eyes enormous at the sight of him. Bolli couldn’t help but smile tearfully, and Nadia’s face softened. “…Hello.”

“Can I come in?” he asked gently. Nadia placed a hand on her stomach and nodded.

“Of course you can.”
