Meme Announcements!
ANNOUNCEMENTS: UPDATED 12/16/2017
Happy Holidays, fellow Kinkmemers! I have returned and have no reasonable excuse for my absence except LIFE. I will be working on updating the archives. If anyone sees anything amiss, please let me know.
I am also hoping to find another Mod and an Archivist.
The more dedicated people we have in this Meme the less chance of it dying. I admit that being the sole keeper of the Meme is not great for the fandom. If something were to happen to me, for good, this place would go the way of the Fallout Kink Meme. Let's not let that happen! If anyone would be interested in Modding/Archiving, please drop me a line. Thanks! <3

(Anonymous) 2013-01-19 02:09 pm (UTC)(link)However it got me thinking that his frivolous wife doesn't really satisfy him at all and that if a young, attractive adventurer was to present herself to him he would probably accept.
And that's where the Dragonborn comes in.
Bonus Points if:
-Dragonborn is a Breton (maybe a bit of size kink, he is a Nord)
-Actual feelings become involved in their affair and they care very deeply for each other.
-Nivenor starts to become a little jealous of the DB completely unaware that there's a real relationship between the two
Bonus, bonus:
-If one of the things that Bolli really loves in the Dragonborn is her charitable nature, her lack of vanity and the way she only buys things she really needs (basically attracted to her because she's the opposite of his wife.)

(Anonymous) 2015-05-31 04:45 am (UTC)(link)She hadn’t forgotten what she had come for. Straightening her back, she trudged to the marketplace, listening to the late evening clamor of the stalls and the tell-tale clanging of steel. Across the way, she could see a gray man working hard at his forge, with a hot sword on a workbench. She approached him first, unhooking the bag of ingots from her belt.
“Balimund, right?” she asked cheerfully, placing the bag on the edge of the forge. “I’ve got a delivery from Eorlund, in Whiterun.” Balimund smiled, relieved, and took the bag to count its contents.
“Ah, excellent! I was expecting you. You were quick, too,” he replied, placing the bag aside. “Everything seems to be in order, so I owe you some gold.” Nadia grinned, despite her post-journey tiredness, and took the bag of money gratefully.
“Thank you very much. Maybe I’ll come back here in the morning and spend it on you,” she teased. But for now, she was off to get herself a bed. It had been days since she had seen a blanket.
Though the Argonians at the Bee and Barb were less friendly than the blacksmith outside, it wasn’t long before Nadia was dropping her bag at the foot of her bed and loosening her boots. As tempting as it was to simply fall into slumber, she forced herself up again, returning to the main room and taking a seat at the bar.
“What can I get for you?” Keerava asked, eying the Breton girl suspiciously. Slightly uncomfortable, Nadia simply pushed a few coins across the counter.
“Alto wine, a salmon steak, and some goat’s cheese, if you would,” she replied. “It’s been a long trip.”
“Where are you in from?”
“I was in Whiterun, before. Doing some odd jobs, and all. Thanks,” she added, taking a swig of wine before she continued. “I had a delivery for Balimund, and I figured I might as well stay here for a bit.” The bartender scoffed and shook her head.
“Wouldn’t recommend it. Riften is a disaster. If you’re fond of the coin in your purse and the clothes on your back, I’d finish your business and get out of this city,” she sighed. “Talen-Jei and I have been trying to leave for years, but we can’t afford to just pack up. This deal is awful, but it’s still the best we’ve got.” Nadia tilted her head, taking a bite out of her salmon before she continued.
“That’s what I’ve heard. Folks over in Falkreath told me not to come here if I could help it. Eorlund seemed sorry for sending me here, too.” From where he was sweeping, Talen-Jei hummed his agreement, but said nothing. Keerava, on the other hand, was very talkative.
“You walk the streets at night only if you’re brave. If the thieves get you, don’t expect help from the guards. The Jarl is useless, and power is in the hands of all the wrong people. I could have my throat cut just for telling you all this,” she hissed, cleaning a flagon fiercely. “You seem like an honest person, girl. You don’t belong here.” Nadia smiled anxiously, uncertain if that was a compliment or not.
“Maybe I’ll stay around anyway,” she argued. “There’s got to be some work for me here. Maybe I can clean things up.” Now Talen-Jei spoke, slinging his broom over his shoulder as he approached.
“Even if you did, you’d be lucky to get out of here in one piece,” he remarked. “As far as Riften goes, you either keep your head down or you get in good with the thieves. Mjoll’s been trying to do what you want to do for years, and the Black-Briars will block her off for years more.” Nadia blinked, looked between the two Argonians, and then settled for downing her wine.
She’d need a lot of it to be comfortable here, she figured.

(Anonymous) 2015-05-31 05:13 am (UTC)(link)Bolli sighed despairingly, staring at the numbers in front of him again. He was fortunate, he reminded himself unconvincingly, that he’d make this money back in no time, but it didn’t change the facts. Nivenor had spent six thousand septims in a month, and he knew she’d spend even more in the next.
He turned to look at the wardrobe behind him. It was practically overflowing with clothes, jewelry, and shoes from all over Tamriel, specially tailored and sent to her. He wouldn’t be shocked if there was six thousand septims’ worth of products in that wardrobe alone. Biting back his frustrations, he pushed the receipts aside and rose to his feet.
What was the point in saying anything to her? There was no end in sight to her love of shopping, and she would buy out every clothing store in the universe before she let Bolli stop her. They knew each other well enough by now. He would say nothing, and simply spend a fair portion of his own wealth on mead.
“Are you going out again, Bolli?” Nivenor asked as her husband descended the stairs. “Try to be home at a reasonable hour.”
“Of course, my love,” the fisherman replied begrudgingly. “I see you’re wearing another new dress. It’s very flattering.” With that, he retreated from his home, making a beeline to his favorite place in Riften.
He perked up instantly at the sight of Haelga, sitting in her usual spot and watching the people around her with a subdued interest. He approached her table first, smiling and straightening his hat as he took a seat.
“It’s good to see you here,” he remarked. “You’re a sight for sore eyes, dear Haelga.”
“Trouble with your wife again?” the Nord woman purred, leaning forward. “Perhaps I can alleviate your stress later?”
“That would be lovely,” he replied, taking a closer look around the inn. Its usual patrons were there—Sapphire leaning against the wall, Indaryn at the table next to theirs, Marcurio seated at his bench—but his eyes stopped on an unfamiliar face seated at the bar. She was a short girl, with unkempt brown hair and wide hips that his eyes lingered on, but her eyes had a friendly look to them. “Who’s that?” he asked, gesturing at her.
“Her? No clue,” Haelga replied. “Talen-Jei says she’s in from Whiterun. Couldn’t tell you anything else.” Bolli rose to his feet.
“I should be polite, then,” he replied, crossing the room and taking a seat beside the Breton before Haelga could protest. The girl looked up, an eyebrow raised, and sipped her wine before speaking.
“Hello.”
“I hear you’re new in town,” Bolli replied. “Welcome to Riften. I’m Bolli.”
“Nadia. A pleasure,” she replied. “Can I buy you a drink?” Bolli glanced back at Haelga, who already looked impatient, and smiled.
“Not tonight. I just wanted to introduce myself, make sure you have a friendly face while you’re staying here.” Nadia’s face softened, and she nodded her agreement.
“That’s nice of you. I won’t be here long, but I appreciate it,” she replied. “Are you from around here?”
“That I am. I own the fishery just outside of the city. We’ve got deals practically all over Skyrim.” Nadia grinned openly now, leaning on the bar.
“Practically, hm? Where are you forgetting?” she teased. Bolli laughed, shaking his head.
“I prefer optimism, but since you’ve asked, I need to get a purchase agreement to Markarth. Then I’ll have a foothold in every major city.”
“I could take it there for you,” Nadia replied with a shrug. “I’ll probably head to Markarth for something or other.” Bolli blinked, surprised.
“You would do that for a stranger?” he asked.
“We’re talking, so we’re not strangers,” Nadia replied, grinning again. Confused, Bolli nonetheless fumbled in his pocket for the agreement, then handed it to her.
“Okay, there you go. You’re taking it to Kleppr, at the Silver-Blood Inn. Make sure he pays you. Thank you,” he added, slightly humbled by her willingness.
“It’s no problem. Now…” Nadia gestured with her head at Haelga, who was glaring openly at the two. “It seems your company wants you back. It was nice to meet you.” Bolli hurried back to his lover, who was more than happy to whisk him back to the Bunkhouse for the night.
At the bar, Nadia pocketed the agreement with a smile.

(Anonymous) 2015-06-01 12:05 am (UTC)(link)“Out of curiosity, what did you get this time?” he asked. Nivenor smiled broadly, nodding at the deliverymen as they departed.
“Some new furniture, actually,” she chirped. “Some softer chairs, and some new blankets for the bed. Ours are getting so scratchy.” Bolli personally didn’t see it, but nodded his acceptance.
“Excellent. At least it’s something we can both use this time,” he remarked. Nivenor smiled genuinely, but the conversation was cut short by a knock at the door. The Bosmer woman moved to answer it, only to be surprised at the sight of an unfamiliar woman in simple armor.
“Oh, hello. Were you with delivery?” she asked. Bolli peered around her, only to feel his heart jump at the sight of Nadia standing at his doorstep. She had vanished soon after their first meeting, and he hadn’t seen her at the bar in a few days.
“She isn’t,” he said hurriedly. “She’s a friend.” He joined his wife in the doorway, and she stepped back, her eyebrows raised. “What can I do for you?”
“I just wanted to let you know that I got the agreement to Markarth,” she said cheerfully. “Kleppr looks forward to working with you in the future.” Bolli nodded with a relieved smile, and glanced back at Nivenor, who was already heading for the basement.
“I really appreciate your help,” he replied. After a pause, he continued. “Would you like to walk with me for a bit, if you’re not busy?”
Nadia leaned forward on a railing overlooking the canal, grinning back at Bolli as he trailed behind her.
“You sound like a busy man,” she said. “Spending all of that time between the temple and the fishery. Doesn’t your wife get bored without you?” Bolli rolled his eyes and came to join her, watching the sun vanish over the wooden roofs.
“And what about you?” he asked. “You’ve never been to Riften before, but you say you’ve been in Skyrim for half a year? What have you been up to?”
“Odd jobs, mostly. I’ve got a home in Whiterun, so I’ve fallen in with the people who live there. Mostly farmers, so I do a lot of delivery work.” She paused, her face softening a bit. “In truth, I’d love to find work with the Companions. They’re practically legends, so I haven’t gone there yet, but I’ve been taking bounties to try and get their attention. Fighting bandits and the like, you know?” Bolli looked at her, surprised that the admittedly small girl would aspire to be a Companion, but nodded.
“For what it’s worth, I hope they notice you. You seem like you’d fit in with them,” he replied. The Breton observed him out of the corner of her eye, a small smile on her face.
“You avoided my question before,” she pointed out. “You’ve been doing it a lot, actually.” Bolli’s face reddened, and he looked away as his companion continued. “Every time I bring up Nivenor, you change the subject.” The fisherman glanced around anxiously, then sighed.
“Nivenor and I have been at odds for a while, if you haven’t realized,” he confided. “We want…different things. She spends more money than I’d prefer, and I don’t make as much as she’d like.” He shook his head, awkward in the face of this confession, but continued nonetheless. “I’ve tried getting her involved at the temple, but it hasn’t caught on.” Nadia sighed as well, her hands loose on the railing.
“I’m sorry to hear that,” the girl replied, shaking her head. She hesitated, then spoke again. “Are you at least satisfied in the bedroom?” Bolli shot up rigidly, glaring at her.
“Excuse me?! You’re a bit bold, aren’t you? Asking something like that…”
“Don’t be angry,” Nadia interrupted, her face slightly pink. “I just…you’re a good man, Bolli. I’ve never liked seeing a good man so unhappy, and…I don’t know, I have my room at the inn and I just thought…” she trailed off, leaving Bolli’s shoulders to slump. He would be lying to himself if he didn’t admit that she was attractive, and he would probably spend the night with Haelga if he didn’t spend it alone.
“…Let’s give it a try,” he said at last.

(Anonymous) 2015-06-01 01:24 am (UTC)(link)“Are you planning on keeping those on this whole time?” she asked, tugging at his shirt. When Bolli remained rigid, she paused, her hands slipping down to his. “We don’t have to do this, if you’re having second thoughts.” Bolli smiled weakly, the concern in her voice all too endearing, and leaned forward to kiss her reassuringly.
And there was the spark. He immediately became greedy for her soft lips, pulling her closer and letting his tongue push between her teeth. She moaned into the kiss, tugging on his shirt until he pulled away to undress himself. Nadia was on her knees before his pants dropped, and her lover’s breath hitched as she swallowed down his cock and took a hold of his hips.
He couldn’t remember the last time anybody had blown him. Haelga preferred to use her hands if she needed to get him hard, and Nivenor’s head hadn’t even been below his shoulders in months. The Breton’s mouth was soft and soaked, her tongue quick around his shaft, and the pure, dirty pleasure of receiving head was enough to make him weak in the knees. He pulled her head away just long enough to collapse on the bed, and then she was back again, sucking and licking and bobbing with that talented, wicked mouth of hers.
“Gods damn you, Nadia,” he gasped, his sweaty hands buried in her hair. “I’m going to fuck you like an animal when you’re done down there.” Nadia looked up with sly eyes, smiling around his cock, and pulled her mouth away slowly.
“Are you?” she asked, her fingers circling his cock as she slunk up beside him. “And who says? Maybe I want to ride you—” She was interrupted by Bolli grabbing her bare hips and flipping her onto her back so that he could practically throw himself on top of her.
“Does this make it clear enough for you?” he growled, shoving himself in deep. Her eyelids fluttered, and she whimpered with pleasure, linking her ankles around his jerking hips.
“Bolli!” she moaned, gripping his back as he slapped against her. Just hearing his name said like that was enough to drive the fisherman wild, and he could only groan loudly and wordlessly as he got lost in this soft new lover and the tight, wet warmth between her thighs. She knew it too, and she managed a smile through the wild motions of the pair. “Say my name…I want to hear how it sounds when you say it…” Bolli was more than happy to oblige her, with the way she was pushing him closer to orgasm.
“Oh, Nadia…!” He bent down just enough to bury his face in her bouncing breasts, taking a perky, sensitive nipple in his mouth as his thrusts grew even more erratic. The two pleasure points earned him a scream out of the Breton girl, and her back arched up into him, her hips coming to meet him every time.
“Bolli, yes! Yes, gods, yes!” She pulled him closer to kiss him, and when they broke free, the eye contact didn’t. In the tension that followed, Nadia tightened around him, and he finally let loose, throwing his head back as he came hard into her. She joined him just a moment later, her mouth open with pleasure and her fingers tight against his back.
His heart still pounding, Bolli closed his eyes, taking in the feeling of Nadia’s head on his chest and the pillows under them. It had been far too long since he had felt anything like that during an orgasm.
“Can I spend the night with you?” he breathed. Nadia giggled weakly, moving up to nuzzle against his neck.
“That you can,” she purred. “Maybe you’ll want another round.” For now, though, all either of them wanted was rest.

(Anonymous) 2015-06-01 02:21 am (UTC)(link)Nivenor stirred slightly when her husband joined her in bed, but hummed appreciatively at the presence of his warmth.
“Out drinking again?” she asked sleepily, turning to face him. “I wish you wouldn’t stay out so late. It would be nice to not have to sleep alone so often.” Bolli nodded weakly, wrapping an arm around her as he drifted back to sleep.
“I’m sorry, love,” was all he could say.
It wasn’t long before the fisherman and the traveler encountered each other again. Nadia was at Marise’s stall when her lover headed for the fishery, and Bolli felt his heart in his throat as he approached her. The Breton leveled him with a cool smile, and he approached cautiously.
“Can I…talk to you?” he asked weakly, offering Marise a wave. Nadia nodded wordlessly, and followed him to the secluded courtyard of the temple.
“I got you something,” he began, fumbling in his pockets for the necklace he had snuck out of Nivenor’s overflowing jewelry box. “My wife bought these in bulk, she won’t notice it’s gone. I thought it would look good on you.”
“How very romantic,” Nadia replied sarcastically. “I’d rather not take it. Jewelry for sex would make me feel like a common whore. I appreciate the thought, though.” Bolli’s hand dropped to his side, and the girl smiled genuinely. “What’s the matter?”
“I feel so guilty for leaving you without a goodbye,” the Nord said helplessly. “You deserve so much better than that, after letting me stay with you—”
“Bolli, please. I’m not angry.” Seeing the shock on her lover’s face, Nadia rolled her eyes affectionately. “Okay. I was angry. I didn’t expect to wake up alone. But if you had really treated me the way I thought you planned to, we wouldn’t be having this conversation. You would have walked right by me without a word.” She placed a hand on his shoulder, her eyes soft and, Bolli noted, just a bit sexy. “As far as I’m concerned, you’ve already done more than I expected you to. So I’m impressed.” Bolli felt the same heat from last night rushing to his head once more, and the Breton smirked slightly. “What are you doing today?”
“Right now, I’m thinking about telling Tythis to take care of things for today so that I can spend the day in bed with you.”
“Ha! Well, that wasn’t the answer I expected,” Nadia teased, taking a step closer. “I’m not against the idea, you know. I don’t have a plan for today yet.” Bolli lay a hand firmly on her hip, grinning down at her.
“In that case…I’ll meet you in your room shortly.”
F!DB/Bolli: "The Things He Lacks" 6/?
(Anonymous) 2015-06-25 04:03 am (UTC)(link)“I want your big, Nord cock in me all day!” she screamed, grinding her ass against him as he pounded into her. “I want to fuck you dry, Bolli!”
“Do it if you can, you pretty little thing,” Bolli growled, his fingers digging hard into her hips. “I’ll fill you up, if you can take it!” Nadia moaned eagerly in response, the feeling of him stretching her wide enough to drive her crazy. She had been with a few men in her time, but none who had her so close to orgasm in just a few minutes.
“P-promise me you’ll keep going if I cum first,” she gasped, lightheaded with pleasure. Bolli answered with a sharp, hard thrust, and his lover buried her face in the pillow to try and muffle her noise.
“I’m not going to stop until I decide I want to,” he replied, pushing her forward into the mattress and bouncing himself against her. Sure enough, that was enough to push Nadia over the edge, and she could only scream as she soaked his cock. She barely had time to collapse forward on the bed before the Nord pulled her back up by the hair, burying himself deeper in her and feeling her sensitive pussy tighten around him. Groaning, he kept on thrusting, encouraged by her high-pitched whimpers and the tender wetness between her legs. When he finally came, it rocked his entire body, and he could barely bring himself to pull his spent member out of her.
When they had both caught their breath, Nadia leaned against her lover’s chest, grinning sleepily up at him.
“Did you mean what you said earlier?” she asked playfully. “About spending the whole day in bed with me?” Bolli smoothed her hair out of her face and planted a kiss on her forehead.
“That’s the idea,” he purred. “I told Tythis that I was taking a day off, and if I can help it, nobody’s going to see me except you.”
“Oh, my,” the Breton replied, faking concern. “It seems that my dear friend Bolli has a bit of an addiction.” The man rubbed her head, smiling sweetly down at her.
“I’ve tried skooma, in my day,” he admitted, “but you give me a better high.” Nadia’s face reddened slightly, but she hid it by burying it in his chest.
“I hear I taste better, too,” she teased. Bolli squirmed free from her grasp and guided her onto her back, kissing his way down her stomach and pushing her thighs open.
“Let’s find out,” he said, planting a line of kisses up her thighs before giving her a long, slow lick. Nadia shivered, still sensitive from her last orgasm, but moaned appreciatively as his mouth set to work between her legs.
“Is…is this going to be a regular thing?” she asked, stroking his hair with one hand and playing with her own nipples with the other.
“What, giving you head? All you have to do is ask.” His voice reverberated nicely against her clit, and she dug her heels into her shoulders.
“Mm, that too…I meant this. You sleeping with me. Are you planning to keep me around?” Now Bolli looked up at her, moving up to kiss her belly again.
“I don’t see why not,” he remarked. “I’m certainly not against the idea.” He returned to the sweet spot, and Nadia trembled with pleasure, her fingers digging into his scalp.
“Neither am I,” she sighed, “although I’m not sure I want to start trouble with your wife.”
“Then we’ll keep our mouths shut about it,” Bolli murmured against her pussy, earning another moan. “I like you a lot, Nadia…”
“I like you too,” Nadia gasped. “Gods, I like you too…”

(Anonymous) 2015-06-30 03:24 pm (UTC)(link)He had first noticed it one early morning, when he had gone out onto the docks to find the Breton already there. She was eating breakfast along, chewing thoughtfully as she gazed into the water, but had perked up when he came to greet her.
“What are you doing up so early?” Bolli had asked, motioning at her meal. The Breton had simply smiled sheepishly up at him.
“You tell me about your work all the time, but I’ve never actually been to the fishery. I thought I’d come along today and see what it is you do all day,” she explained. Bolli had allowed her, and from then on, she had started following him to the fishery, sitting on barrels and listening to him talk about everything from business deals to his employees. Though she occasionally offered him advice, her forte was allowing him to vent, something he wasn’t often able to do.
“Do you want to work for me?” he asked her one night, while they were curled up in bed. Nadia snickered, resting her head in the crook of his neck.
“Was what I just did not ‘working for you’?” she teased. The fisherman rolled his eyes affectionately.
“I meant at the fishery, girl. You always come along, so I might as well pay you. You could pick what jobs you do, if it would make it more appealing.” Nadia bit her lip, contemplating for a moment, then planted a kiss on his bearded cheek.
“If it means I can spend more time with you and make money for it, I’ll gladly do it,” she replied.
And so the relationship progressed. The people of Riften took note of the two, practically joined at the hip from the fishery to the Bee and Barb. She even attended sessions at the Temple of Mara with him every now and then, much to her lover’s delight. Nivenor had never once taken interest in listening to Maramal preach, but Mara was worshipped both in Skyrim and in High Rock, and Nadia was interested to see how the worship differed between the two provinces. Bolli, for his part, found the sight of her in the pew endearing, and couldn’t help but smile over at her as she listened to the sermons.
“Were you very religious in High Rock?” he asked after one session, as they ate dinner in the Bee and Barb.
“Sometimes,” Nadia replied. “I did there what I do here, more or less. Odd jobs for clients in Daggerfall.” She paused, looking sheepishly up at him. “I did some work I’m not proud of, but lots of jobs that I’m happy to talk about. And I helped a lot of people. That’s what counts, right?” Bolli nodded in agreement, his heart catching as he finally realized what it was that set Nadia apart from the other women in his life.
She was genuinely interested in who he was. And in return, he couldn’t help but care about who she was, too.

(Anonymous) 2015-07-01 05:18 am (UTC)(link)“Depending on what you’re hungry for, we could head up to your room,” he teased quietly, out of earshot of the nearby guard. The Breton winked, but shook her head.
“As lovely as that sounds, what I could really go for right now is a steak. Especially horker. It’s been ages since I’ve had a good roasted horker.” Bolli frowned, pausing at the gate into the city, then turned abruptly to his lover.
“Come have dinner at my house. I’ll make you a horker steak.” Nadia tilted her head, smiling wryly up at him.
“You’re joking, right? You’re not very funny,” she said, pushing the gate open. Bolli followed her eagerly, taking her arm.
“I’m serious! You can meet Nivenor. We’ll all have dinner together,” he said. Now Nadia scoffed, crossing her arms.
“Of course,” she said sarcastically. “What a pleasant idea. ‘Hello, dear wife, allow me to introduce you to the girl I’ve been having sex with for weeks now! Do you mind if she stays for dinner? That way she can have even more of your meat!’” The Nord turned her by the shoulders, smiling tenderly enough to make her heart jump a bit.
“It’ll be fun. I’ve never cooked for you before, in all the time that we’ve known each other. Let’s give it a chance, okay?” he asked, sweeter this time. Nadia sighed, shaking her head affectionately.
“…Okay. But if Nivenor gets jealous of me, you’re dealing with it yourself.”
Sure enough, Nivenor was surprised to see that her husband had brought home the slightly familiar Breton once again. She rose to her feet, eying Bolli suspiciously.
“You didn’t tell me we were having a guest for dinner,” she said.
“It was a last-minute thing,” Bolli replied, gesturing for Nadia to come closer. “This is Nadia. She’s a friend of mine from the fishery. Nadia, this is my wonderful wife, Nivenor.”
“Nice to meet you,” Nadia said cheerfully, extending her hand to the Bosmer. “Bolli tells me he’s good at roasting horker. I’m looking forward to trying it.”
To Bolli’s private surprise, Nivenor did seem to express a genuine interest in their new guest. Their conversation grew lively as dinner progressed, as they asked each other about their lives before Riften, Nivenor’s favorite places to shop, and Nadia’s free time.
“I’m surprised you went for the fishery, honestly,” Nivenor said over her glass of wine. “A pretty girl like you, getting all messy and smelling like fish. It makes me wonder what you’d look like in some of my clothes.” Nadia smiled deviously, her eyes lingering on Bolli as she answered.
“If you don’t mind sharing, we could find out after dinner,” she said sweetly.
Bolli couldn’t believe the way Nadia had turned the tables. He sat motionless on his bed, watching his lover twirl around in some of his wife’s finest clothes. Nivenor looked on approvingly, hardly noticing Bolli as he stared at the Breton’s shapely hips. Nadia certainly noticed her audience, and looked over at him, turning so that he could see the way the dress clung to her curves.
“You look lovely,” Nivenor said with a smile, clapping her hands together. “You can keep a few dresses, if you’d like.”
“Oh, I couldn’t,” Nadia replied, smiling graciously back. “They’re beautiful, but they’re yours. I’m just glad to have been able to try them on.” She paused, looking over at the fisherman as she loosened the dress. “I very much appreciated dinner, Nivenor, thank you so much for having me. Do you mind if Bolli comes with me to the Bee and Barb for a few more drinks?” Behind his wife’s back, the Nord himself felt a heat rise in the pit of his stomach, and did his best to glare at Nadia despite it.

(Anonymous) 2015-07-01 06:00 pm (UTC)(link)Nadia was shrieking with pleasure, her feet up on Bolli’s shoulders as he slammed her into the mattress. The Nord was almost animalistic this time, growling and grunting as he pounded into her.
“Damn you, Nadia,” he groaned, burying his cock deep inside her. “Teasing me like that in my own damn home…I would have fucked you in front of her, by the time we left…”
“You liked that?” the Breton asked playfully, tightening her muscles around the huge cock and moaning with delight. “You liked seeing me wearing your wife’s clothes? Showing off in front of you like that?”
“Nadia…” Bolli sighed, only to get louder and faster. “Nadia, Nadia! Damn it, yes! I love you!”
And Nadia froze. Bolli’s eyes shot open to find her staring back at him, her face twisted with fear. Before he could react, she had pulled away, moving back on the pillows and covering herself the best she could. Bolli sat up as well, mentally kicking himself for saying something so intense.
“Nadia, I—”
“You need to leave.” Nadia pointed at the door with a shaking hand, her face pale. “I’m serious. Put your clothes back on and go home to your wife. Now.” Bolli’s shoulders slumped, and he obeyed wordlessly, his fingers shaking as he pulled on his shirt. Nadia lay down, curled up in the blankets, and barely acknowledged her lover as he disappeared.
Nivenor was already in bed when Bolli trudged up the stairs to her. Still silent, he undressed and crawled into bed beside her, giving her a customary kiss as he settled down.
“It was nice to meet your friend,” the Bosmer said cheerfully, her hair fanned out on the pillow. “She’s very pretty. Young, too. I remember when my skin was that smooth.” She sighed, and Bolli glanced over to find a hint of insecurity in his wife’s usually confident face.
“She’s not half as beautiful as you,” he said halfheartedly. Nivenor smiled over at him, moving closer and placing a hand on his stomach.
“Thank you, love. Still…” Her smile wavered again, and her eyebrows tightened. “She avoided a few of my questions, did you notice? I wonder if there’s something she’s hiding.” When Bolli shrugged, she moved up, planting a kiss on her husband’s neck. “You know, Bolli, it’s been a while…” Her hand ventured down, pulling his loincloth aside, and her kisses gained speed. “Do you want to?” Perhaps it was the lack of satisfaction he had gotten from Nadia, or the fact that despite it all his wife was still a beautiful elf.
“…I do.”
The next morning, Bolli was surprised to find his lover standing in front of the fishery, waiting for him to unlock the door. She kept her eyes down and her hands in front of her as he approached.
“Hello,” she said softly. The Nord sighed, unlocking the door.
“You don’t have to work here anymore, if you’re uncomfortable,” he informed her. The girl smiled weakly and shrugged.
“I still need the money. I’ll do other jobs, but I’ll stay.” Once they were in the fishery alone, she planted a light kiss on his cheek. “Listen. Nothing has to change, if you don’t want it to. Just don’t say it again.” Bolli pulled her in for an embrace, smiling with relief.
“Sounds like a plan.”

(Anonymous) 2015-07-02 02:20 am (UTC)(link)Once Haelga turned away from the girl, her eyes narrowed at the sight of the Breton. She had seen her countless times before with Bolli, and had a sneaking suspicion that their ‘friendship’ had something to do with the fisherman no longer coming to visit her.
“Can I help you?” she asked curtly. Nadia shook her head, walking into the dining room.
“Just looking for someone,” she lied. Once she was close enough to the niece, her voice grew quiet. “I heard what she said to you. Are you okay?” Svana smiled weakly.
“It’s nothing I’m not used to. This is just how it’s been.” She paused, holding out her hand to the newcomer. “My name’s Svana, by the way. We haven’t met.”
“I’m Nadia. Is there anything I can do to help you?” The Nord raised an eyebrow, surprised, and glanced over at the counter before leaning in.
“That’s not a question I’m asked very much,” she said gratefully. “As it happens…maybe if we gave her a taste of her own medicine, she’d be nicer to me.”
“How would we do that?”
“My aunt is a devout follower of Dibella. As part of her rites, she gives a small gem to every man she’s bedded, called a Mark of Dibella.” Svana paused as Haelga came into the room, and cleared her throat. “I-I’m sorry, but the bunkhouse isn’t an inn! It’s for workers who come in from outside of the city! But I’m sure they’ll set you up at the Bee and Barb.” Once the blond left, she lowered her voice again. “Sorry. Anyway, Dibella’s teachings are frowned upon in Riften, so if you could get three of those Marks, we could blackmail Haelga. Easy, right?”
“Easy enough,” Nadia agreed. “Where would I get the Marks?” Nothing would have prepared her for Svana’s answer to that question.
“I know she’s slept with Indaryn, Hofgrir, and Bolli. You should try and get them from those men.” Nadia could feel her heart stop, and her hands grew cold.
“…Bolli? The fisherman?” she asked, her throat dry. Svana eyed her curiously.
“Yes, Bolli. If it’s an issue, you don’t have to—”
“No, I can do it.” Nadia backed away, trembling slightly. “I’ll do it as soon as I can.”
Once she was outside, she slumped against the bunkhouse door, tears in her eyes. So that was how it was. She had been foolish to think that Bolli was any more loyal to her than he was to his own wife. She was a mistress, after all. She shouldn’t have expected anything more.
She trudged slowly to the fishery, dreading the conversation before she even saw his face. The delight in his expression didn’t make it any easier for her to say it out loud.
“Haelga gave you a Mark of Dibella. I need it.”
Bolli’s face paled, and his hands fell to his sides.
“I…I don’t know what you’re—”
“Don’t lie to me.” Nadia glared at him, her eyes flashing. “The Mark. Give it to me, and we won’t talk about it again.” The fisherman’s shoulders slumped to his sides, and he nodded, fumbling in his pocket for the little gem.
“…How did you know?” he asked timidly. Nadia shrugged, shoving the stone in her pocket. She felt dirty just for touching it.
“I have to go collect two more now,” she said coldly, turning away to mask the pain in her face. “I’ll see you later.”

(Anonymous) 2015-07-04 03:08 am (UTC)(link)“What are you doing?” he asked harshly, storming over to the thief as they stepped backwards. Before he could say any more, the hood dropped, revealing the familiar, blushing face. He froze, his arms dropping to his sides as the Breton moved closer to him.
“Hi, Bolli,” she said softly, her eyes on the ground.
“Nadia,” Bolli whispered, reaching shakily for her arms. She allowed him to touch her, and looked up wordlessly. “What…what are you doing?”
“I’m working.” Nadia gestured back at the door halfheartedly. “Brynjolf asked me to come back. He said he could use my skills, and Markarth was getting a bit too hectic for my liking.” Bolli’s fingers tightened on her arms, and he pulled her away from the rows of houses. This wasn’t the girl who gave septims to the beggars, who spent extra money at Grelka’s stall so that she could get closer to leaving Skyrim, and who protected Marise from Hemming and Sibbi’s teasing. If she was working for the Guild, he feared that he was losing the part of her personality that he had fallen in love with, and that had set her apart from practically everyone else in Riften.
“You can’t work for the Guild,” he said firmly, resting his hands on her shoulders. “You’re better than that.” Nadia laughed wryly, taking a seat on a barrel nearby.
“Am I,” she scoffed. “It’s not all bad work. Sometimes we help people out. I give a lot of the money I earn to people who are worse off. It’s just another source of income.” She sighed, glancing around at the foggy town. “…Do you want to talk somewhere more privately?”
The two retreated to the fishery, curling up together on the floor of the office. Bolli finally wrapped an arm around the shorter girl, and she relaxed into his side.
“Where have you been?” he asked. “Why didn’t you write to me?”
“I couldn’t,” Nadia insisted, though the apology was clear in her eyes. “I was figuring things out for myself. Like I said before I left…we let this go too far.” Bolli sighed, pulling his hat off so that he could wipe his brow.
“Do you really believe that?” When the girl remained quiet, he studied her face, trying to figure out what he saw there. “I cared about you, Nadia. I still do. You have to know that.”
“I do,” Nadia replied softly, squeezing his hand. “But that doesn’t change what this is. You have a wife, a business…you have too much on the line to let me jeopardize it.” Bolli frowned, confused.
“You think you’d jeopardize it?” he asked, alarmed. “Nivenor won’t leave me. She’s the one with more to lose.” Nadia shook her head, leaning forward on her hands.
“We can’t do this forever, as much as you’d like to. She’ll find out.”
“She already knows.” Now the Breton looked up, eyes widening, and Bolli pulled her closer. “It doesn’t matter. We talked about it. You left town, and that was the end of it.” Nadia closed her eyes, biting her lip hard.
“Bolli…this doesn’t help. Especially now that I’m back.” She pulled away, moving a safe distance away, but Bolli only leaned forward.
“Nadia.” He looked at her as meaningfully as he could. “You’re worth it. Do you understand me? You can work with the Guild if you want, but…having you back feels like a gift from Mara, and I’d hate to see you get hurt. Please…please be careful.” Nadia finally smiled, and the sight was enough to send Bolli’s heart fluttering.
“…The job can wait,” she sighed, leaning in to kiss him.

(Anonymous) 2015-07-06 03:22 am (UTC)(link)“Am I hurting you?” Bolli whispered, slowing down and taking her hand. “We don’t need to do this…” Nadia smiled through her tears, gripping his fingers tightly.
“I’m okay,” she whispered. “It’s just…I love you, Bolli. I love you so much.” Bolli’s breath hitched, and he pushed forward again, slowly pushing them both to climax.
“Say that again,” he murmured, greedy for the sound of those words and her voice. Nadia smiled mischievously, and nodded, pressing her hips up against him.
“I love you,” she whispered, urging him to push forward. The feeling of him inside her sent her voice shaking. “I love you, Bolli…I love you…!” Her voice harmonized with Bolli’s soft groans, and she finally came, shoving her body up against him as her lover took control. He was close behind, almost embarrassed at how long and heavy his orgasm was. The pleased look on his girl’s face, however, was enough to make any of his insecurities melt away.
Bolli sighed, spent and satisfied, as he held Nadia to his chest. The Breton smiled brightly, looking up at her lover again.
“You know,” she said softly, “we don’t have to stay here. With your wealth, we could start over anywhere we want. Whiterun…Hammerfell…Akavir…”
“Akavir?” Bolli laughed. “That’s quite a way to go.” He leaned down to kiss her. “I don’t think my boat can take us that far.”
“That’s not the point,” Nadia insisted, sprawling across his chest. “We don’t have to stay here. Say the word, and I’ll follow you anywhere you want to go.” Bolli smiled sadly at her, sitting up and pulling her along with him.
“You know I’m tempted,” he began, “but you also know I can’t. Riften needs us, darling.”
“Does it?” Nadia rose to her feet, looking for her clothes where they had been abandoned. She would probably be betrayed by the scent of fish, but she couldn’t bring herself to mind that much. “Weren’t you among the many people telling me to get out while I still can?”
“That was when you came here,” Bolli replied, looking for his trousers. “People know you here now. You protect people, you donate to the temple…you’re liked here. Even if you’re working with the Guild, people will be happy to see that you’re back.” He pulled his shirt on next, then looked for his hat. “And me…I have the fishery, and the temple…and my wife.” Nadia nodded, leaning forward on the table.
“Are you going to tell her that I’m back?”
“I’m sure she’ll know soon enough.” Bolli sighed, going back to hold her again. “Damn, it’s good to have you back.” Nadia grinned, pushing up to kiss him again.
“It’s good to be back.”

(Anonymous) 2015-07-07 07:46 pm (UTC)(link)“Is that who I think it is?” she muttered. The woman at the stall shrugged, organizing her wares as she spoke.
“Nadia? Yeah, she’s back. Why do you care?” she asked bluntly. Nivenor’s face grew hot, and she did her best to keep her temper under control.
“You know why I care,” she replied. “She and Bolli—”
“Sleep together? Yeah. We all know.” Grelka looked up from her work, barely containing her disgust. “Don’t look for any sympathy here, Nivenor. You and I both know that you have no love for the man. Don’t be surprised that he looked for it somewhere else.” When Nivenor said nothing, she rolled her eyes. “You and I also both know that you haven’t been faithful. So do me a favor and save your act for someone who doesn’t pay attention.” With that, she looked past her, calling out her typical sales pitch. “Looking to stay alive? Why take a chance? Come to Grelka’s armor stand!” The Bosmer stormed off, retreating to the safety of her own house and the comforts inside it.
After she was done speaking with the Argonian, Nadia headed back to the fishery, where her Nordic lover was working hard. Grinning, she closed the door to his office, then hurried to wrap her arms around his shoulders.
“What are you up to?” she asked cheerfully.
“Oddly enough, I’m going over the numbers that Kleppr sent me. The purchase agreement in Markarth really brought numbers up.” He looked over his shoulder, kissing her. “Thank you for that, darling.”
“Ah, that agreement brings back memories,” Nadia said lightly, her lips pressed against his neck. Bolli sighed, leaning into her kisses.
“I’m very tense, Nadia,” he purred, his eyes drifting closed. “So much paperwork to get done today…I could use a break.” The Breton eyed him curiously.
“You know damn well that someone will catch us if we do it in here,” she replied teasingly. All the same, Bolli pulled her onto his lap, burying his face in her clothed breasts.
“That’s true,” he murmured, pulling her dress down and kissing the newly exposed skin. “I’m not certain I care, though.” He pushed her onto the table, his cock already hard and ready, and the purchase agreement was forgotten for a while.
Nivenor spent most of her dinner in silence, though she kept glancing up at her husband. Bolli looked shamefully happy, and she couldn’t help but feel a dull anger.
“I saw Nadia in the market today,” she said softly. “I’m glad to see she made it back to Riften in one piece.” Bolli nodded, taking a bite of his dinner.
“She came by the fishery again to ask if she could have her job back. I gave it to her.” His play on words was certainly intentional, but Nivenor said nothing, deciding to focus on the meal in front of her instead.
“Are you going to the inn tonight?” she asked lowly. When Bolli nodded, she rose from the table, taking her empty plate away. “Have fun, then.”
If nothing else, at least she’d have the house to herself for a few hours.

(Anonymous) 2015-07-07 09:18 pm (UTC)(link)“Nivenor!” he called when he entered the house. “We need to talk about the bills!” In the silence that followed, he paused, hearing a slight shifting in the bedroom upstairs. He climbed the stairs, expecting to find his wife stirring from a nap.
Instead, she was fully nude, moaning, and bouncing on top of Hemming Black-Briar. He froze, his brain too overloaded to work, and in his confusion, Hemming looked over to find him standing there.
“Oh!” he gasped, sitting up abruptly. “Bolli…!” Nivenor shot up from the bed, alarmed, and stared at her husband, a hand clapped over her mouth.
“Oh, gods…Bolli, I didn’t want you to find out like this,” she murmured. His eyes still wide, Bolli simply turned away, letting the bills flutter to the floor as he stumbled back to the front door.
“I can’t believe Rune got caught with his hand in the strongbox,” Delvin groaned, shaking his head. “I’d expect that kind of mistake from a rookie, not him.” On the other side of the table, Nadia leaned back, grinning.
“Ah, he got caught up in the excitement. It’s hard not to do that sometimes,” she replied. “At least he had the gold to pay off the guard. It’s a pain to get our people out of jail.” Before she could defend her friend any more, Brynjolf took a seat beside them, shaking his head.
“Sometimes I get tired of working with the Black-Briars,” he sighed, borrowing Delvin’s mead for a sip. “Maven’s the only one of the bunch who knows how to keep herself out of trouble.” Nadia frowned, straightening back up.
“Did something happen?”
“Her damned son, Hemming.” Brynjolf glanced between them. “Got caught in bed with a married woman. Maven is furious.” Delvin scoffed, rolling his eyes.
“As she should be. Fool should know better to do something like that when he’s not sure he won’t get caught. Who was it, anyway? Drifa?”
“Nivenor. The fisherman’s wife.” Nadia’s eyes widened.
“Nivenor, really?” she asked. “With Hemming?”
“I said the same thing,” Brynjolf said with a smirk. “I’m surprised anybody would give that little weasel the time of day.”
“I’m not,” Tonilia chimed in from her seat. “That icy elf loves money more than she could love any man. Of course she’s bedding a Black-Briar.” As she spoke, Nadia stood, finishing her wine quickly and passing the empty bottle to Vekel.
“I’ll be back later,” she said simply, hurrying to the door amidst her friend’s confused looks.
As she figured, Bolli was seated at the docks when she came out to join him. His legs swung over the water, and he gazed dully at the horizon. The Breton hesitated slightly before approaching him.
“…Bolli,” she began softly. Her lover looked up slowly, then laughed wryly.
“I figured you’d be one of the first to know. The damn Guild pays attention to everything that goes on in this city.” He scoffed, watching as she took a seat beside him.
“Are you okay?” she asked.
“I don’t know,” Bolli sighed, pulling off his hat. “I feel like I care much more than I should. I’d care more if I found out you were with someone else, but…”
“You do care about her, all the same,” Nadia finished. “You’re allowed to feel sad about it, Bolli. There’s no harm in that.” The Nord shrugged, moving to take her hand.
“Maybe you were right about skipping town,” he remarked. “We could still go. How do you feel about Solitude?”
“It’s a beautiful city,” Nadia replied, allowing herself a smile. “But we can’t. We have a good thing going here, no matter what. We have people here who are counting on us. We owe it to them.” Bolli nodded, leaning over to kiss her.
“I’m going to stay at the inn tonight,” he murmured against her lips. “Would you like to join me, my dear?” To his surprise, Nadia rose to her feet, smiling affectionately.
“Not tonight. I’ll be working late with the Guild.” She dropped a few coins into his lap. “Buy yourself some mead in my name, will you?” With that, she started back towards the city, doing her best to keep calm.

(Anonymous) 2015-07-07 10:45 pm (UTC)(link)“Delvin,” she said weakly, leaning against the bar that the other Breton was seated at. “Can I talk to you somewhere private?” Delvin looked up curiously, but nodded all the same.
“Of course, dear. Lead the way.” Nadia led him to the other side of the pool, taking a seat and waiting for him to join her. “You look pale as a ghost. Are you in trouble?”
“I might be,” the girl admitted, pulling her knees up to her chest. “You know what Brynjolf said earlier? About Nivenor being caught with Hemming?” Delvin laughed lightly.
“If this is about you and Bolli,” he said teasingly, “I already know that. Everyone does. Come on, now—”
“I’m pregnant.”
Now Delvin went just as pale, and he stared at the younger thief.
“You’re…pregnant.” Nadia nodded, and he cleared his throat. “Um…you’re certain it was Bolli that did it?”
“I’m certain. There hasn’t been anyone else in too long.” The Breton sighed, resting her chin on her knees. “He doesn’t know yet. I’m not sure I’ll be able to tell him, not with him finding out about Nivenor. It might just be too much for him.” Delvin’s eyes narrowed, and he shook his head.
“If he couldn’t handle that possibility, he shouldn’t have been bedding you in the first place,” he grumbled. Nadia shrugged, and Delvin moved back to take a look at the stomach she was concealing with her legs. “You need to stop working for the Guild, Nadia. At least for a little while. There’s too much stress and danger involved in the job for you to be carrying a kid around. You don’t have a house here either, do you?”
“I don’t. Where should I go?” Nadia’s eyes welled up slightly, and she shook her head. Delvin pulled her to his side, giving her an uncharacteristically comforting squeeze.
“You can stay here, but the Ratway isn’t the best place to give birth. Not that I would know.” He looked down at her as she leaned into his shoulder, sighing. “My advice for you? Go to Whiterun. They have the Temple of Kynareth there, and the city’s much…sunnier than Riften.” Nadia nodded slowly, biting her lip as she thought this through.
“I…I guess I could do that.”
“I could come with you, if you want.” Delvin grinned, clapping her on the shoulder. “We could cause trouble like always, and I could help give your kid a father if Bolli skips out on you.” Nadia smiled broadly, but shook her head all the same.
“I can’t ask you to do that,” she insisted. “Brynjolf and Mercer need you here, taking care of things.” Delvin pouted slightly, and her grin widened. “Don’t be sad, Delvin. I’ll be back before you know it.”
“So you are going to Whiterun.”
“I am.” Nadia rose to her feet, helping Delvin do the same. “I’ll finish some things up and leave as soon as I can. Can you handle the work I haven’t finished yet?” The older man nodded.
“Not a problem. I’ll split it up with the others.” He pulled his friend in for a hug. “Good luck, kid. You can do it.” Nadia nodded, returning the embrace tightly. There was plenty more she had to do before she left the city.

(Anonymous) 2015-07-08 01:11 am (UTC)(link)“Nadia…” the Bosmer said, her eyebrows raised. Nadia flinched, and took a step backwards.
“I…I’m sorry. I can go—”
“No need.” To her surprise, Nivenor’s eyes softened, and she opened the door wider. “Come inside. Let’s talk.” Nadia couldn’t help but feel an anxious tug in the pit of her stomach, but she complied, following the well-dressed elf into the main room.
“How are you feeling?” Nivenor asked, taking a seat at the dining room table.
“I’m fine,” Nadia replied, sitting down as well and resting her hands in her lap. Nivenor smiled sadly.
“I have four sisters, my friend. Even if you’re early on, there are some obvious signs of pregnancy from the beginning.” Nadia blushed deeply, and the older woman nodded. “It’s okay. I won’t say anything.” She sighed, leaning forward on her hands. “Despite everything, I can’t bring myself to blame you. You wanted what you want, and you went after it. There’s no shame in that, and I can’t be angry at you for doing what I’ve done all my life.”
“I understand,” the Breton replied. “I could say the same about you.” She paused, looking up timidly at the elf. “If you don’t mind me asking…when did you start sleeping with Hemming?”
“I honestly don’t remember,” Nivenor admitted. “I seduced him the first time I learned that Bolli had slept with Haelga. I had meant to make it a one-time thing, but…he cares about me, I believe that. He gives me more than just things. Bolli…he’s a good man, but it’s been a long time since I’ve wanted more than just his money.”
“Do you love Hemming?” Nadia asked. The Bosmer bit her lip, then shrugged.
“I don’t think so. Not yet. But what I feel for him is more than what I feel for Bolli.” She looked up, her eyes searching the girl’s face. “What about you? Do you love Bolli?” Nadia faltered, unable to keep eye contact.
“…Yes. I do.”
“That’s good. I can’t speak for him, of course, but I believe he loves you, too.” Nivenor looked over at the door, making sure they were truly alone before she spoke again. “Can I tell you something, Nadia?” When the Breton nodded, her shoulders slumped, and she leaned in. “After Bolli caught us, Hemming asked me for my hand. He assumed that Bolli would leave me, so he thought he had free rein to do so.” Nadia tilted her head, her brow furrowed.
“Will you say yes?”
“I don’t know. I’m not certain Bolli will leave me, considering how long he’s been sharing your bed. Does he know that you’re pregnant?” The Breton shook her head. “Will you tell him?”
“I haven’t decided,” Nadia replied. “He seemed pretty upset when he found out about you and Hemming. I’m not sure if it would be good for him if I told him the truth.” She paused, suddenly very comfortable telling Nivenor the truth. It was amazing, really, how candid she could be with the wife of her long-time lover. “I’m leaving soon. I’m going to go to Whiterun and stay there until my child is a year or two old.” The elf nodded.
“That’s a good idea. I was going to recommend that you leave before you start to show.” She rose to her feet, and surprisingly lay a hand on the girl’s shoulders. “This is no place for a child. I hope you find what you’re looking for in Whiterun.” Nadia smiled genuinely this time, standing as well.
“I hope you find what you’re looking for as well,” she replied, before turning away at last and returning to the city.

(Anonymous) 2015-07-08 01:35 am (UTC)(link)“Are you feeling alright, love?” he asked gently, reaching for her hand. Nadia shook her head, pulling him along so that they were out of earshot of the guards.
“I need to talk to you,” she said weakly, leaning against the railing. “I needed to talk to my friend at the Guild last night, when I decided not to spend the night with you. There was…something I needed to figure out.” Bolli frowned deeply, the concern obvious in the lines on his face.
“Are you in trouble?” he asked, moving closer to her. Nadia braced herself for the worst.
“I’m carrying your child, Bolli.” She looked up desperately, watching his jaw go slack. “I found out recently, and I needed to talk to the Guild to give away my work—”
“Stop.” Bolli held up a hand, and Nadia’s eyes widened with fear. “Stop talking. I don’t need this information, Nadia.” The Breton stared at him, her palms flat at her sides.
“…You don’t…need this information?” she echoed, alarmed. Bolli finally looked up, his eyes blazing.
“First my wife sleeps with a Black-Briar, and now this?! Damn it, Nadia, I’m not going to deal with this!” he shouted. Nadia flinched, thrown off by his rage. She had never been the target of it before.
“I-I…I thought you’d be better than this,” she murmured. “I didn’t think you’d just throw me out…”
“Can you prove that it’s mine?” the fisherman asked, scoffing. Nadia fumed silently, and he rolled his eyes. “You ran off to the Guild last night, instead of sleeping with me. For all I know, one of those filthy thieves got you pregnant.”
“They’re not filthy!” Nadia raged, her fists clenched. “They’re my friends, and they’ve been a lot more understanding about this than you! And I’ll have you know that I haven’t slept with anybody else since we slept together for the first time! I’ve been loyal to you!” She stepped forward so sharply that Bolli couldn’t help but cringe, and her voice dropped in volume. “It’s your child, Bolli. You can’t deny that. And I’m going to Whiterun to raise it.” She moved away again, her face contorted with anger and disgust. “I’m leaving by carriage tonight. I don’t care if you come with me or not. But the way you’re acting right now says a lot about you.” With that, she stormed away, refusing to look the intrigued guard in the eye as she returned to the city, and Bolli stomped towards the fishery. The least he could do now was work, and keep his mind off of this dilemma.
Once the sun had disappeared, Nadia stepped out of the inn, a knapsack on her shoulder and her eyes down. The cover of darkness kept her safe as she headed for the carriage, only for her heart to sink. The stablemaster and his apprentice were the only people outside of the gates, and even they were going into their home for the night.
She wasn’t sure why she had expected anything else. As he had said over and over, he had a wife. He had a fishery. He had everything he needed in Riften. And she was just a want.
“I need to get to Whiterun,” she said softly, holding up the coins for the driver.
“Not a problem. Hop on in and get comfortable. It’s a pretty long ride.” Nadia obliged, clambering up to the wooden benches and leaning against the wall as the carriage shook into action.
“Beautiful night, isn’t it?” the driver asked, gesturing up at the stars above them. Behind him, out of his sight, Nadia was staring up at the sky as well, tears streaming freely down her face as Riften became smaller and smaller.
“Beautiful,” she repeated, quiet enough so that he couldn’t hear the tremble in her voice.

“I knew you’d be back for me in no time,” she said, resting her head on her lover’s broad chest. “You were just a bit distracted, weren’t you?” If he hadn’t just had an orgasm, Bolli would probably be angry at her boldness. However, he simply smiled, and even planted a kiss in Haelga’s blond hair.
“I was a fool to stop bedding you, at least,” he admitted. “You’re certainly the most skilled.” Haelga leaned up, pressing her bare breasts against him. “Maybe now we could leave this horrid city together, like you said we’d do.”
“Maybe,” Bolli agreed, knowing for certain that it wasn’t an option. Still, if it was possible that he would get another round, he would satisfy the insatiable woman beside him. Haelga tilted her head innocently, kissing the Nord’s bearded chin.
“It must be quite the weight off of your shoulders, being rid of both of them. Nadia isn’t coming back, Nivenor’s with someone else…” Now Bolli snapped back to attention, looking sullenly down at her.
“That much doesn’t matter,” he said firmly, convincing himself more than Haelga. “Nivenor and I slept with other people, but our marriage is still intact. I can promise you that.” Haelga rolled her eyes, moving back to her own pillow.
“Can you,” she replied sarcastically. “Then why are you back in my bed?” Bolli grinned over at her, leaning in for a kiss.
“Because you understand me, Haelga. You’re good to talk to, and your mouth is talented in other ways as well,” he teased. “Nivenor’s been overlooking my indiscretions for quite some time. It’s only fair that I do the same for her.” Despite his outer confidence, he couldn’t get the thought of Nadia’s accusatory glare out of his mind. He had a feeling that she would haunt him for quite some time. Her and…their child…
He was fortunately interrupted by Haelga’s lips on his neck. He smiled, relieved, and pulled her on top of him again. Maybe they didn’t have a future together, but he could always count on her to take his mind off of his troubles.
Bolli and Marise were talking in the marketplace the next afternoon when he was interrupted by a familiar self-assured voice.
“Hello, Bolli. Can we talk for a moment, somewhere quiet?”
The fisherman turned around to find himself face to face with Hemming Black-Briar himself. His shoulders tensed, and behind him, Marise took an anxious step back.
“I’m not very inclined to do so,” he admitted, “but if you can make it quick, I’ll gladly do it.” The two men retreated to the steps of the temple, only for Bolli to frown at him and cross his arms. “Start talking.”
“I just got back from speaking with Nivenor,” Hemming began, taking a step back to avoid the other man’s wrath. “I wanted to be the one to tell you, as a gentleman should.” Bolli scoffed, and Hemming looked away uncomfortably before continuing. “I asked for Nivenor’s hand quite some time ago. We can have your marriage to her dissolved, and then she’ll be free to marry me. She agreed to my terms today.” Bolli’s eyes widened, and he struggled to find the words.
“She…she did?” was all he managed to utter. Hemming nodded, somehow managing to look smug and apologetic all at once.
“She did. She said she’d be moving in with me tonight. I’m sorry, Bolli.” Before he could say any more, Bolli turned on his heel and dashed back home to who he thought was his wife.
