Meme Announcements!
ANNOUNCEMENTS: UPDATED 12/16/2017
Happy Holidays, fellow Kinkmemers! I have returned and have no reasonable excuse for my absence except LIFE. I will be working on updating the archives. If anyone sees anything amiss, please let me know.
I am also hoping to find another Mod and an Archivist.
The more dedicated people we have in this Meme the less chance of it dying. I admit that being the sole keeper of the Meme is not great for the fandom. If something were to happen to me, for good, this place would go the way of the Fallout Kink Meme. Let's not let that happen! If anyone would be interested in Modding/Archiving, please drop me a line. Thanks! <3
A Warrior's Heart 3/
(Anonymous) 2013-02-22 02:47 pm (UTC)(link)And she had plenty of enemies.
‘Fuckloads.’ Maeva growled as she plunged Dawnbreaker into the skull of the draugr deathlord and bashed it with the gold and white shield she had earned from Peryite in exchange for the life of his errant servant. More deathlords closed in and so it was that she breathed silent thanks to Talos and Akatosh when an explosive ring of blue fire blanketed the surrounding area, sending the remaining draugr fleeing.
Planting a foot on the now-dead deathlord, she shoved its rotten corpse of her blade and chased down her remaining foes, waiting until they backed themselves close to the edge before a thunderous “FUS!” knocked them clean over. Maeva smiled happily, watching from above as the two bodies sailed down below to crash into the heap of dragon bones. They did not get up again.
By the time she had hacked her way to the top of the temple, her once brilliantly shining glass armour was covered in gore and she could feel rivulets of her sweat soaking her back and the chest. Her legs felt slightly wobbly, a problem quickly rectified as she cast a quick healing spell and felt the cuts and scrapes on her skin closing even as new energy surged in her veins. All that stood between her and eternal glory was Alduin. Well, Alduin and that dragon priest which she had spotted while hiding behind a pillar. All she needed was to get a little closer…
It had been some time since he had last heard the ring of steel on steel. That was either very good news or bad news. Nakhriin hovered at the steps anxiously, wringing his bony hands as he bobbed about in mid-air, the torn ends of his robes floating like limp pennants. Then, from behind a stone pillar and without so much as a scrap or rattle to announce her arrival, the Dragonborn pounced. All Nakhriin saw was a blaze of green and white which leapt into the air. Most of all, he saw the long, painfully bright sword that blazed with an unnatural energy as it arced down in a blow meant to strike his head from his shoulders.
Naturally, he did the first thing that came to mind. He screamed. And then he backpedalled furiously to get away from the dreadful warrior, missing the sword by narrow inches.
Maeva cringed as the lich’s bloodcurdling battle cry pierced the air. By Talos, this one had a set of lungs on him. And the cunning undead bastard was racing back to the portal, undoubtedly to secure it. And as he flew, the air rumbled with the guttural Dragon Tongue that she had never once bothered to learn, save for the Shouts. The only thing she could make out was Alduin. No doubt, he was cursing her in his overlord’s name.
“She’s here!” Nahkriin screeched as he hightailed it for the portal. “Lord Alduin! The Dragonborn’s come! Now would be a good time to get rid of her!” Surely, since the portal acted as a bridge to the realm of the dead Nordic heroes, Alduin would hear him, if he sounded the alarm loud enough. “Lord Alduin! You need to get here at once!”
Usually, Nahkriin knew better than to order the god of destruction around. However, his own doom was slowly approaching as she held up an enchanted shield that absorbed whatever lightning bolts he threw her way. Out of frustration and fear, and wishing he too could hop into the portal of light and vanish, Nahkriin summoned all his power and channelled it into a strike deadly enough to temporarily break the magic of the shield.
At least it would have. If it hadn’t gone wide and blasted the pillar next to the Dragonborn. “Oops,” he muttered.
“Fuck.” That was the only word Maeva got out before a ton of rock collapsed on her. Throwing up the shield to protect her head, she felt her arm smack painfully against the helmet before her feet were swept out from under her and the sky darkened as the stones rained down on her and blackness blotted out the sun.

(Anonymous) 2013-03-21 10:39 pm (UTC)(link)I really like the difference between how Nahkriin is seeing the battle, and how Maeva sees it! *giggles*
Also, I swear this story isn't showing up in Delicious - there isn't a char:nahkriin tag, that I could find, nor is it linked under kink:daedra.
