ANNOUNCEMENTS: UPDATED 12/16/2017
Happy Holidays, fellow Kinkmemers! I have returned and have no reasonable excuse for my absence except LIFE. I will be working on updating the archives. If anyone sees anything amiss, please let me know.
I am also hoping to find another Mod and an Archivist.
The more dedicated people we have in this Meme the less chance of it dying. I admit that being the sole keeper of the Meme is not great for the fandom. If something were to happen to me, for good, this place would go the way of the Fallout Kink Meme. Let's not let that happen! If anyone would be interested in Modding/Archiving, please drop me a line. Thanks! <3
Sleepless - Part 49a/?
(Anonymous) 2013-10-01 12:15 pm (UTC)(link)Ariella was physically exhausted but not matter how much she wanted to sleep she couldn’t; her mind wouldn’t stop. She was being stupid and she knew it, she just needed to stop thinking.
There was a nagging part in her mind that kept planting doubts, doubts she didn’t want to have. Vilkas had been acting distant and she knew it had something to do with something he wasn’t telling her. Even though she knew this she couldn’t help but feel that perhaps Vilkas didn’t want her. Maybe he pushed her away because he didn’t want to waste his time with her.
She shook herself. This paranoia was not going to get her anywhere and just gave her a sickening feeling in her gut. She flipped onto her stomach and buried her face in the pillow. She just wished he would be honest with her. Maybe he didn’t like her as much as she loved him.
And she did love him. Truly.
She had wanted to tell him but had been too afraid of his response. She was new, naïve to the whole ‘romantic’ world and he had infinitely more experience than her. From his behaviour recently she was glad she hadn’t said anything.
She knew the secret he was keeping was something more than him. She knew it affected him so much and she knew he had every right to keep it. He didn’t owe anything to her, he would tell her when he was ready.
As she lay awake, face buried in her pillow and after a few hours the people around her stirred.
She could hear them all getting up and getting ready, whispering to each other so as not to wake her.
“What time did she get in?” Athis whispered
“Don’t know, I didn’t hear her come in.” Njada whispered back
“Should we wake her up?” Ria whispered
“We’ll just leave her, she’ll get up when she’s ready, besides she hardly sleeps anyway.” Athis decided.
Soon they all filed out and Ariella was left alone. She was moping, she knew that but that didn’t mean she wanted to leave the room.
She decided she would just stay in there for a while and try to sleep.
Sleepless - Part 49b/?

Athis had taken some food down to the room and Vilkas learnt from whispers it was for Ariella in case she was awake. It was then that Vilkas realised her hadn’t seen Ariella all morning.
He wondered why she hadn’t come up and knew she couldn’t have been sleeping all this time. Not with the amount of sleep she usually had. Vilkas had been sitting in the main hall staring at a book when an all too familiar smell greeted him. He hadn’t been concentrating on his book which is why he had caught Ariella’s scent so quickly.
She walked straight over to Farkas, passing behind Vilkas. Vilkas tracked her, his wolf growling at the way she had ignored him. Farkas looked a bit surprised but the two went outside probably to train.
Vilkas dismissed her behaviour and reasoned that she just wanted to train before doing anything. Vilkas was tempted to go out to the courtyard and watch but something stopped him from going.
