Meme Announcements!
ANNOUNCEMENTS: UPDATED 12/16/2017
Happy Holidays, fellow Kinkmemers! I have returned and have no reasonable excuse for my absence except LIFE. I will be working on updating the archives. If anyone sees anything amiss, please let me know.
I am also hoping to find another Mod and an Archivist.
The more dedicated people we have in this Meme the less chance of it dying. I admit that being the sole keeper of the Meme is not great for the fandom. If something were to happen to me, for good, this place would go the way of the Fallout Kink Meme. Let's not let that happen! If anyone would be interested in Modding/Archiving, please drop me a line. Thanks! <3
Sleepless - Part 99b/?
(Anonymous) 2014-04-07 01:02 pm (UTC)(link)Ariella sighed and walked towards the Harbinger’s room. She knew that even if Farkas and Aela hadn’t said anything about where they got the list from Kodlak would pin it on her, her script was fairly obvious.
She pushed open the door and found just Aela sitting there with Kodlak. She sat down and saw the list in the middle of the table. Kodlak looked at both of them and sighed, pushing the list towards Ariella.
“Aela here won’t tell me, but I know this is your doing.” Ariella just nodded, jaw clenched.
“I told her to do it!” Aela interrupted, silenced when Kodlak raised a hand. Ariella looked at the list and picked it up carefully.
She looked at all the all the lines that were across the list. “You… you’ve cleared nearly all of them?” Ariella asked, disbelief in her voice.
“All but one it seems.” Kodlak said leaning back in his chair.
“Aela…” Ariella said looking at the Huntress. “Was Skjor’s death not avenged before this point?”
Kodlak raised a brow at the Breton but said nothing. The words she was saying weren’t to cover her own actions; they were serious. He almost chuckled at how well Ariella slipped into a Harbinger like mode.
“We’ve nearly eliminated them all!” Aela said in defence, “One final fight, remove the Silver Hand once and for all.”
“Aela, your thoughts are noble but you let your feelings cloud your judgment.” Kodlak said. “Think, what have your actions really done? One of your brothers fell and you got your revenge by killing them in great numbers. What will they do to get their own revenge?”
Aela slumped in her seat, “Nothing good comes from violence.” Ariella hung her head in her hands, clearly beating herself up over this. “What have I done?” Kodlak heard the Breton whisper to herself.
“What has been set into motion is done. We will have to deal with the consequences together. No more senseless killings like what has been done. We have to let this experience shape us, all of us.” Kodlak said. “I just hope, Aela, you feel Skjor’s death has been more than paid for and Ariella, I believe you already know the weight your actions have caused.”
None of them moved for a while. The two women spoke softly as they put their actions into light, both realising how big of a mistake they had made.
