Meme Announcements!

ANNOUNCEMENTS: UPDATED 12/16/2017

Happy Holidays, fellow Kinkmemers! I have returned and have no reasonable excuse for my absence except LIFE. I will be working on updating the archives. If anyone sees anything amiss, please let me know.

I am also hoping to find another Mod and an Archivist.

The more dedicated people we have in this Meme the less chance of it dying. I admit that being the sole keeper of the Meme is not great for the fandom. If something were to happen to me, for good, this place would go the way of the Fallout Kink Meme. Let's not let that happen! If anyone would be interested in Modding/Archiving, please drop me a line. Thanks! <3

Heh... like the previous poster, I found this yesterday and read the whole thing in one go!

I am very, very impressed. This isn't a kinkmeme fill, it's a novella. Rather than simply writing a couple of scenes involving the pairing in question, you appear to have scripted an entire story with a whole cast of characters, all of which are in character. There's absolutely no question that you've done your research. Also, the twists in the story are awesome and not predictable - I literally screamed when I read the part about Elisif getting killed!

I hope you will post this somewhere like Archive Of Our Own for easier bookmarking, because this is a story I'll want to read again and again :)

Thank you very much for your feedback, you're very kind, and I'm relieved to hear it doesn't lose the reader despite its length!

I do hope it remains a novella, and does not become a novel. I didn't intend to make it so long, but I am having a lot of fun with it. Grumpy, stubborn mage meets aloof, vexing spy; I don't get tired of that combo very easily!

It's on Fanfiction dot net under the same title. Sorry, I don't have an account with Archive of Our Own. Despite reading stories there, I'm terribly lazy =p

I'm honestly relieved anyone found this, all the way back on page 4. I thought my first fill would never see the light of day.

Oh lordy, research. I'm obsessed with researching things, to the point of ridiculousness. Most of what I know came from me going, "Wait, what? Is that true? To the internets!!!" as I read other stories. I've heard it said a lot of writers dread someone looking at their search history, which is absolutely true for me. Just looking at the history of words I type into the thesaurus alone makes me facepalm, knowing it anyone ever sees that, they will give me some decidedly peculiar looks.

Well, back to Chapter 13.
