Kissing her forehead, Vilkas closed his eyes and focused on listening to her gentle breathing. Now that he knows what she thinks, this feels much more intimate and delicious.
“Theia, I want you to stay next to me for the rest of our lives. I want to be together with you until we grow old, if Mara gives us the privilege.”
“As long as you keep this voices and feelings out of my head, I would go with you to Sovngarde and back if I need to.”
With a sight, both their heads turned towards each other and the pair of warriors shared a loving kiss.
Vilkas knows he can’t keep her dragon soul from taking over a part of her, but he will, with all his might, keep the sweet and gentle part of her soul alive.
