The vampire pulls out with a wet 'pop' and collects his robe from the ground, shaking out the dust before re-tying it. Lex contemplates a Shout, but he doesn't know any that would end a powerful vampire in one go, and this time, he has no trusty stabby dagger of doom to back him up. Or any armor to protect himself. It's all on the ground.
"You can't win this fight, little thief," the vampire murmurs, voice deceptively soft over a sharp edge of threat. "I suggest you find your adventure elsewhere. You have overstayed your welcome here."
And just like that, Lex is out on his ass in the snow through a back exit from the cave, his gear and dagger thrown out after him. He rushes to get dressed in the cold and despairs at the two and a half day walk it'll take him to get back to civilization.

Three days later, Lex wakes screaming from a bloody nightmare, mouth freshly full of fangs of his own, and swears he'll get the fetching bastard who did this to him if it's the last thing he ever does.
((I hope you get some bit of entertainment out of this, OP. And, well, I should apologize to Lex, but I'm really not sorry. Besides, he's pretty cavalier about everything except the whole becoming-a-vampire-himself part. Maybe it's not dark enough, but I figure a jaded manslut like Lex might deal better than someone with actual dignity about the whole vampire-date-rape thing.))
