-I want to point out that during my game-play that Rulindil did bug, mess up, whatever you'd like to call it. I killed Gissur and assumed Rulindil had gone downstairs. I crept into his office and for whatever reason spun the view around and THERE HE WAS CREEPING THE DOORWAY INTO THE BASEMENT. I jumped pretty hard...anyway onward we go!
Imani exhaled a shaky breath and stood slowly, lifting her arms above her head, and stretched before silently walking into what appeared to be his office. She glanced around the room and gently drug her fingers along the desk, noting the books on the shelves along with deathbells and glow dust.
She did love deathbe-
“I wouldn’t.” she froze, her muscles bunching painfully beneath her skin as she stumbled forward into the shelf. Imani swung her head towards the other door way and could feel herself pale beneath the cowl she wore. Rulindil took up the entire frame, black eyes locked on her with cold distaste, while his lips pulled apart in a wicked smile. “You will come with me.” He turned slightly, blocking the doorway out of the office and back into the solar, giving her only one path to tread “Now.”
Imani held her ground partly due to pride and partly due to being frozen in shock at being discovered. Both of those reasons didn’t sit well with the 3rd in rank and he took the situation into his control. Imani managed to duck out of the way of the first shock, crashing hard against his desk and toppling the chair behind it, but Rulindil was around the makeshift shield in a second and with a scream Imani succumbed to the electric coursing through her body. She fell heavily against the cold tile and tried to fight off the black that threatened the edge of her vision until the ceiling was replaced with the angular face of what would surely be her death. Rulindil chuckled darkly “Lets get you downstairs so we can become better acquainted.” And with another jolt of electric she gave into the dark.
