Love Traps (hehehe sorry, I got no idea what to name this)
There are times in Serana's life nowadays that she would love to turn into a bat and fly away from frustrating situations. Unfortunately there is no way she could turn into a bat, let alone fly away from frustrating situations, especially when they involve a favor owed to the Dragonborn.
The bestest of the friends she’s ever had asked her to get Farkas, a Companion that was freakishly tall and muscular, away from Jorrvaskr and into a cave to find some horn. Said best friend in the world suggested to her that this brute would be perfect for the mission she was currently undertaking, but Serana would love to differ. There is nothing wrong with his abilities to fight off and kill the enemy, no. The problem is, Serana would very much like to do a quiet, fast and meticulous job when dealing with her enemies. Farkas, on the other hand, wants to charge like an idiot into battle without even realizing who he’s fighting with. Or how many. Or... how.
“I think I heard someone ahead.” Said man spoke, stretching his arm in front of Serana’s face.
“So help me if you walk ahead of me one more time, I’ll find a way to make you cry.” Pushing the big, muscular arm away, the raven-haired woman kept walking slowly and carefully. The cave was filled with crazy-ass draugr, after all.
“Or you could just ask me. Spiders make me cry.”
The woman turned her head and stared at him in wonder. She wondered if he was unaware of the graveness of the situation. The Dragonborn assigned this task to her because it was urgent and wanted it done fast. They had no time to waste.
“Anyway, I will ask you - AGAIN - to be careful where you walk.” Going into a passage, Serana opened flame on her hand to see ahead and both stumbled upon a room.
“Oh great, an open room.”
And right before Serana walked into the room, Farkas gently moved her aside and stepped in, igniting the whole area where he stood. As the flames went up and started to get big, the Nord man moved as quick as he could with his heavy armor to the edge of the traps, next to the rocky walls.
Serana had jumped back and fallen to the floor, scraping her knees as she landed on loose rocks. Being human again made her skin very sensitive to touch.
“I JUST told you—”
“OH NO! No, no, no!” Turning around, the raven-haired woman saw two big, hairy and stinky spiders approach the Nord man fast. He was frozen in place.
“You’ve got to be kidding me!” Standing up as fast as she could, Serana jumped into action and pulled her dagger out, charging for one of the spiders. She wasn’t as heavy as Farkas, so the fire took more seconds to ignite, giving her enough time to stab the disgusting creature multiple times before she had to jump to the edges of the traps. She wasn’t so lucky, her boots got really hot and her feet suffered the same fate. “Farkas, do something!”
The second spider jumped up and landed in front of Serana. Said woman took the opportunity and stabbed the thing as many times as she could before the Nord man snapped out of his—fear—and slashed the thing in two. Moments later, he ran to the other one and did the same thing.
