Jarl Ulfrics Folly 2c/?

His expression didn’t change he was finished arguing with her. Why he had attempted to reason with a lowborn elf at all way beyond him. “In spite of your criminal past, you’re a law abiding citizen yes?’. She hesitated “yes”. He said “normally I wouldn’t care what you do; but being dragonborn is a true gift to Skyrim and I require your service.” “By law I am entitled to service from everyone in the territory”. “In order to enforce that law I am issuing a decree that you remain in Windhelm until you obey the law and take the oath”. He looked down at her as if to say “your move”. “I am not a citizen of Eastmarch” she informed him.

The laws of Eastmarch apply to you once you enter the territory” he told her. “By my right as Jarl I hereby conscript your services into our ranks”. “Now soilder you may serve honorably as dragonborn”. He deliberately ran his eyes over her body lingering on the chest area. “Or since I don’t have much need for camp followers, I can arrange a more personal service”. “Either way you will serve, what say you?”. He leaned against the throne and stared smugly at her, confident as always he had the advantage. Galmar let out a guffaw, he walked away shoulders shaking as he tried to gain control of himself.

Gilse felt they were mocking her. She also felt confident Ulfric would never want to touch a dark elf. His manners and actions towards her suggested he felt her far beneath him. She would call his bluff . For good measure she sashayed right into his personal space. Let him sweat for awhile. He needed her far more than she needed him and she felt it gave her the upper hand. She stared at him defiantly “You wouldn’t dare, you don’t have the guts”. The stunned silence that fell was only broken by the crackling of the fires in the braziers”. Even Ulfric seemed shocked.
