Cali is such a sweet little thing, I really like writing her. Especially as in chapter 5, we get to see just how big an influence he's had on her.

I didn't realise just how much fun writing Liriel's family would be. All their backstories, all the culture clashing, all the Alinorian hypocrisy versus the Reach's messed-up but honest about it nature - it's very interesting to explore, let's put it that way!
