I know a lot of gamers use PCs, but I've always been an Xbox junkie so I'm drawing mine to show off like the shameless fan I am!

In the mean time, I wanted to know if anyone had steam pics/art/anything else, of their Dovahkiins? All the cool hair styles, details, races, classes! How can anyone make a bad Dragonborn?! They can't! So show yours off!

Ugh. Yeah, that's one thing that bugs me about having the X-Box version, myself. No screenshots.

Would've gotten the PC version, but this is the kind of game that just begs to be played on a nice, big 50" TV...

I totally ran up to Jorrvaskr and married Farkas as soon as I got the amulet of Mara, but now I kinda wished I'd tried Vilkas out before hand, he seemed a bit more excited to marry me than Farkas did. Hmm...another playthrough might be in order lol

Hmm...I use Open Office for everything from kmeme fills to term papers, and all I know is that it has that problem with keeping formats through different programs. Never had a problem copy and pasting into live journal though, or fanfiction.net.

Wonder what everyone else uses? - and if there's a better free writer software out there.

Skyrim dates confusion

Date: 2012-01-11 08:01 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
So I've been trying to work out the timeline of events in Skyrim as I'm writing something which flashes back between the present day and events during the Great War... and I'm kind of confused.

From other sources:

4E 171 - start of the great war
4E 174 - sack of the Imperial City
4E 175 - the Empire defeats the Dominion in the Battle of the Red Ring, the White Gold Concordat is signed ending the war
4E 176 (?) - Ulfric Stormcloak puts down the Forsworn rebellion (the Markarth incident)

... then nothing at all happens until...

4E 201 - Ulfric Stormcloak kills High King Torygg
4E 201 - the Stormcloak rebellion starts

So the great war has been over for 26 years at this point, so how come Ulfric has waited until now to start the rebellion? What has he been doing since then? I know he was in prison for a while following the Markarth incident, but how long for, I got the impression it was a relatively short time (a few years at most?) Obviously he can't just start up the Stormcloaks overnight and it would take him a while to build up support, but this seems like a rather slow pace. Surely he would have been better off striking while the Empire was still in a mess immediately after the war?

Also just how long exactly is the Empire going to 'rebuild' before they take on the Thalmor? Kind of weakens their argument that they are just biding time. 26 years is more than enough time to recruit and train more soldiers for the Legion etc.

The other thing I'm a bit confused about is how long has elapsed at the start of the game since Torygg's death? Since they only just got around to executing Roggvir that would imply it was fairly recent, and the whole thing with Whiterun suggests that it's only now that Ulfric is moving into open warfare.

I do pay attention to game dialog but it's possible some of this has been eluded to and I've missed it. Call me nerdy but I like having stuff straight in my mind :-)

A confused nerdy anon.

I am totally interested in developing your thread here since I'm writing too.

No but seriously, how old is Ulfric? You forgot to include the fact that disturbs me the most, which is the fact that he studied at the Greybeards' crib BEFORE the Great War. Given that he wasn't godmode Dragonborn... he must've been there for a while. The Greybeards are old men and I still think that they don't know half of the shouts a fulfilled Dragonborn can... so I figured, Ulfric must've been there for at least some years.

He must be around his 35's, making him around eleven when he went studying. 15-ish when participating in the Great War. Fair enough. Makes sense.

I am figuring that his father's followers - soldiers, citizens of Windhelm, court - were keen on him even as he sat jailed in Markarth. When he came back they welcomed him with open arms since he was a rightful heir. It could've taken some time to spread word about an uprising rebellion but it takes no more a few years at least.
As to when he was freed, we might need to research in-game books. I'm guessing he sat in prison for at least 5-10 years.

How about this theory: he knows a little thu'um which he uses in the Great War. Later he returns to the Greybeards to perfect his thu'um to be 100% sure that he can kill Torygg. When he resumes studying around 10-15 years have passed since his imprisonment; 10-15 years in which are included jail time and returning to Windhelm to claim himself rightful Jarl. That leaves him another total of 11 years to study shouts, return to Windhelm, and prepare for rebellion.
Right before he goes off to Solitude to kill the High King Torygg he makes sure the Stormcloaks and people of Windhelm in general are ready. This could take 1-2 years.

At 4E 201 he kills Torygg, and while on the way back to Windhelm to start organizing his armies seriously, Ralof and Dragonborn along with an unfortunate horse thief and some miscellaneous Stormcloak soldiers are ambushed. We all know the rest of the story.

By then the rebellion is already known and people are acting on their own, spreading the word.

If my theories and guesses are close to canon storyline, it makes sense that the Dragonborn takes part in the entire actual uprising against the Imperials, from beginning to end throughout the game. Makes sense, no?

This bugs me though:

"After taking over the city of Solitude with the Stormcloaks, the guards talk about how it's 'too bad they couldn't have gotten here in time to save Roggvir.'".

Taken from Elder Scrolls Wiki, I doubt something is wrong.
Soldiers speaking in that manner implies two possible things:

1) Sacking of Solitude should ultimately (if this was a "real" situation without sidequests) happen very fast from the point of Torygg's death. Meaning, the entire rebellion blossoms and is over in a week at least (absurd, even though actual preparations are not part of that week.)

2) It's just a way of pitying Roggvir, and the sacking is taking a much longer time.

* * *

Now I will attempt a more or less logical timeline, related to Ulfric's age:

(4E 167 - 11-year old Ulfric goes studying, or maybe he just prances round, fat cookie kid eating honey nut treats and sweet rolls...)

--- 4 years with Greybeards ---

4E 171 - Great War. Ulfric is 15.
4E 175 - Great War ends. Ulfric is 19 years old and put in jail.

--- 10 years in jail ---

(4E 185 - Ulfric is released, 29 years old, returns to Windhelm where he is accepted as hero and claims his rights as an heir)
(4E 193 - Goes studying again once he makes up a plan to kill Torygg. 37 years old (shit, he's getting way too old! HALP)

--- Studies for maximum 5 years ---

(4E 198 - Ulfric has perfected his thu'um. Him being the 42-year old hunk he is, he returns to Windhelm to prepare his people)

--- Preparation for rebellion, spreading word, maximum 3 years ---

4E 201 - Ulfric is 45 years old and kills Torygg. Captured shortly after, together with the Dragonborn.

* * *

So why did I base this on Ulfric's age? Because he is the character most susceptible to being a good reference. Is it likely that he is 45 years old in-game? You be the judges. For me, it seems a little too old.
Therefore, feel free to bash and perfect my possible, fan-made and utterly nerdy timeline!

Favourite in-game lines?

Date: 2012-01-12 09:45 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
Just curious what people's favourite lines from the game are?

In no particular order, some that stood out for me:

Best snark:

These are both Rikke. Her little asides during the peace negotiations cracked me up.

Elenwen: Ulfric, why so hostile? After all it's not the Thalmor who are burning your farms and killing your sons.

Rikke: She's supposed to be on our side?

Arngeir: I'm sure Jarl Ulfric does not expecting something for nothing.

Rikke: Yes, that'd be entirely out of character.

Best inspiring speech

Ulfric's whole 'Why do you fight for me?' speech. Especially in that voice. It made me instantly decide to become a Stormcloak.

Biggest awww! moments

At the end of the battle for Windhelm:

Rikke: Skyrim doesn't belong to you, Ulfric.

Ulfric: But I belong to her. (<3 Ulfric!)

Rikke: On the coldest of nights, in the steam rising from my breath, I see the many faces of the dead. (someone give Rikke a hug, or enough mead to drown her sorrows)

Sexiest voice

Damn but choosing between Brynjolf and Ulfric is hard!

Anyone else?

Okay! So here's my two cents!

Best Snark?: I think the best stuff is when your sneaking around a faction (i.e. thieves guild, companions, winterhold, and brotherhood) and the NPC's are having their conversations and what-not. Some of the snark between Farkas and Torvar is pretty damned funny, as well as Vex and Dirge.

Best Inspiring speech?: I'd have to agree with OP on this one, that speech Ulfric gave was so epic.

Biggest Aww Moment?!: Okay, so I know it's weird, and maybe doesn't fit into the 'aww-moment' category, but I thought the journals of both Kodlak and Cicero were really touching. Kodlak more touching than Cicero's but Cicero's was a bit more sad-horrible-sweet. Does that make sense?

Sexiest voice?: Ack! I know it's totally clique and all, but I f-ing love Farkas' voice, especially since it's so gruff and manly, but he talks like an happy-go-lucky simpleton at times. It's damned adorable.

So, which side of the Civil War are you on?

Date: 2012-01-24 05:25 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
Lads and ladies, I've played through both sides of the civil war. And it has helped me reach a conclusion: I will never, ever, ever be anything other than neutral in subsequent playthroughs.

Granted, there won't be as much character development for the Imperials nor the Stormcloaks, but you know what? At the end of the day, at least they'll still be breathing.

See, I have a problem, and that problem is called 'getting way way way too attached to these people'. I love Tullius and Rikke. And I love Ulfric and Ralof. Playing the questlines just to see what they were like very nearly killed me; I may or may not have become physically incapable of hurting them as a result.

As an impartial observer, though, I'd love to know which sides y'all picked (and why). Motivations fascinate me.

Re: So, which side of the Civil War are you on?

Date: 2012-01-24 06:37 pm (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
Well, on my first playthrough I went with the Stormcloaks. The reason being is that at least the lot of them were semi-friendly toward my little wood elf; meanwhile I'm just traveling down the road and do Imperial soldiers really have to draw their weapons and threaten me as I'm passing by? A small reason but it still irked me nonetheless.

The other thing was that I really didn't want to be a stereotype, an elf siding with the side that the Thalmor were "allied" with when they too were such assholes to me. I don't even know what I did in my game but once I stumbled across a group of them and they started beating the shit out of me. That pretty much sealed the deal in getting away from them and their closed-mindedness, since of course I don't agree with them trying to strip culture away.

I guess by the end of the war I was disappointed in how badly other races were treated. Windhelm already disgusted me because of how the Dunmer were shoved in the back and nastily tormented, and one dude (forgot his name, derp) told me the story about how Ulfric gladly sent troops to help his fellow Nords when they were in danger but not any other races. Then in Whiterun, Adrianne Avenicci told me how she wouldn't have stood a chance at being ridiculed if her husband weren't a Nord himself.

Still, I couldn't bring myself to switch to the Imperials because, as others have said, while I didn't particularly like Ulfric himself due to his arrogance, his cause was right. That I believed in.

Pushing aside all of the wrongs and flaws, I ended up pushing through to the end with them. Now I can't bring myself to join the Imperials since my second character is a high elf (oh god) and that would just be setting a lovely example for Skyrim to hate all other races even moar.

Also, why Imperials? Why try to execute me when I was picked up without cause fffffuuuuuu--

But maybe the third time around I'll pick another race and check out the Imperials since I don't want to rule out that possibility completely; gotta get the most out of this game!

Sorry it's so long...

I just thought this would be fun. Since finding the Skyrim kink meme, what are some of the things you've discovered (either about yourself, or the fandom in general)?

I'll start, shall I? Here we go. :3

-Despite all evidence to the contrary, I can, in fact, write porn. Who knew?

-The Companions are memetic sex gods. I knew I made the right decision joining them

-I will stay up past midnight hitting the F5 button, because my favorite fic just updated.

-I will read the kink meme at work, in spite of the risk posed by my boss, because my favorite fic just updated.

-Kitty disapproves of my fascination with the Stormcloaks. I can tell because she flops over onto my keyboard every time I open up a fill that has them in it.

-I will not allow a Jarl to court me if I value my sanity. (Looking at you, Balgruuf.)

-Everybody wants the Thalmor. This includes me.

-I will never be able to look Ulfric in the eye again, because in the back of my mind, I'll be picturing him completely naked. And... other things. Oh god.

So is it normal to actually kind of fall in love with one of the characters you're writing? I mean, I'm currently writing "How Ulfric Stormcock met Cock Stormcock" and damn, Leif didn't exist in game when I first created him but I had to go an make him a playthrough now because I fell in love with the dumb, man-whoring Dovakhiin I created.

... I hope it's normal. Then again, I've never been much good at the whole 'normal' thing.

But yes, I'm over here trying to write some nice, plotless porn, and it keeps filling up with backstory, and character development, and hey: if I write this bit, I can do a sequel where... All because I've gotten just a little bit obsessed with my Dragonborn.

Yes, I've been obsessed with video game characters before, but they were always actual characters. Characters with dialogue, and actual backstory, who did interesting things. My Dragonborn doesn't do anything, or say anything, he just stands there.

... Stands there in that horribly level inappropriate hide armor, and lets me stare at his massive, freckled shoulders. Hmmm... That could be a clue.

(Normal aside, I'm a little in love with Leif too. You had me at the chest hair, the rest was just gravy.)

Houses!

Date: 2012-02-10 01:01 am (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
I'm curious, fellow anons, as to where your Dragonborn calls home.

One of the first things I did was go out and buy all the houses (damn you and your prerequisites, Hjerim). I was excited to get them all but, compared to Breezehome, they seem... inconvenient. With Breezehome everything is right there, from storage space to merchants to the blacksmith. I do admit that the satchel on the alchemy table sealed the deal (seriously, I love it that much). There's no enchanting table but I don't mind bothering Farengar for that. And really, Whiterun just has sentimental value.

I do love Honeyside but I can't stand the bed being out in the open. Proudspire Manor is one of my favorites but goddamn is it far away when I just want to drop shit off. I mostly use the other houses for decoration, with the exception of Hjerim (which is too creepy for me to even go near).

Re: Houses!

Date: 2012-02-10 03:48 am (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
I just moved myself and my hubby Vilkas into Hjerim, because it's such a lovely big house, and since I know for damn sure the murderer isn't going to want his workspace back, I don't find it creepy.

I'm also quite fond of Proudspire, but Breezehome feels so cramped to me, which is also my problem with Honeyside; I feel like I can't walk around without knocking things off tables and shelves in those two places. I haven't done much with Vlindrel Hall, but that's largely because I despise Markarth, and avoid it whenever I can.

I'm just sad and kind of guilty that I moved Vilkas away from Farkas. I want a mod that lets the brother I don't marry move with us, darnit. Separating them feels so wrong!

Besides, then I could pretend I had polyandry goin' on.

Disclaimer: I'm writing this after spending all day on the road, so I apologize in advance if I make no sense whatsoever. I might as well be banging my head into the keyboard at this point.

Anyhoo. I was curious, my fellow Author!Nons, about what your process is when settling down to write fic (or anything, really).

Personally, I need to have a constant supply of tea ready to hand, as my creative urge is powered entirely by massive caffeine consumption. I must also be by myself, with at least an hour or so to focus solely on whatever it is I'm writing. Interruptions have a tendency to throw me wildly off track (as I am the Procrastinator Queen, even when involved with something I enjoy).

Also, I need to be listening to music. Just ambient stuff, nothing that actually requires my attention- Arcana's a good band for this, or so I've found. For Skyrim stuff, I just pop in the 40-minute wilderness track and go haring off into ficland.

I find that it helps if I have the blocking down beforehand. Nothing major; just some scribbles on a sheet along the lines of "X engages in a snark-off with Z, insinuates his mother was a llama, and promptly receives a fist in the eye". It's gotten me over some serious hurdles in the past; also helps me remember any spur-of-the-moment good ideas. Which usually pop up in the middle of the night, when I'm trying to sleep, so it's just as well.
From: (Anonymous)
This is a wonderful post right now because I'm in the middle of a fill and my inspiration just went poof.

I have to think out stories beforehand. I test out the different ways that situations can play out, usually when lying in bed before going to sleep. If I try to write spontaneously it doesn't work, though it's a catch 22 because the words sound so beautiful in my head but when I sit down to write my brain says lolnope.

I write for long periods at a time so if there are constant interruptions I don't bother, and a lot of background noise throws me off. Talking and television, mostly (I have a serious hatred of laugh tracks now). If I think of snippets of dialogue or ideas I need to remember, I note those.

I have a routine for browser tabs. Music, dictionary/thesaurus, various wiki articles. I've found that I can focus more on my writing without music lately, but I think it's because I'm worrying more about what I write. Everyone's writing is so crazy gorgeous here that I'm starting to fret over every single sentence and I can't do that with music. It's to the point where I have to force myself to write down anything and then go back and edit it to try making it beautiful.

So my creative process right now is, in summary, blargh. I bounce around between different fills I'm writing just to get anything done and I end up deleting a lot. STOP BEING SO AWESOME, GUYS.

Need help with Mercer char development...

Date: 2012-02-27 07:07 am (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
So I'm writing a self insert fic with Skyrim. I'm hoping it will be a little different then what's out there so far, here's a quick preview:

Trapped in a cave-in while exploring with my friends, I find my self in Skyrim shortly before Alduin's awakening. Using my knowledge of what is going to happen when and where (and my giant backpack of items from 'my time-line') I go about trying prepare for the inevitable. Oh yes, and being in Skyrim doesn't mean I can miraculously use magic, because I still can't! But that doesn't mean I'm not accused of necromancy when I use CPR to resuscitate a drowning man. Science does not mix well in the world of magic and myth.

Anyways, I don't want to have to almost die on my way through the thieves guild questline. My thoughts were to try and get on Mercer's good side (if he has one). I dunno, maybe try to seduce him? (Yes, I am addicted whoever has been writing those damn Mercer fics! PLEASE WRITE MORE!) Someone told me he just needed a hug because he's lonely. Simple, yet probably true. Karliah had Gallus and every one in the guild looks up to Bryjnolf. Yet Mercer snaps at anyone who come near him, any ideas? (I'd like to stay as cannon as possible) XD

Re: Need help with Mercer char development...

From: (Anonymous)
Hello there, my lovely A!A. Do not be alarmed by the dark shape arriving in your thread by parasol; it's only Mercer!Non.
I assume that by 'nearly die', you're referring to the whole Snow Veil debacle. In which case, I have no idea how to avoid it, unless you somehow convince a certain someone to go in ahead of you. Which could be difficult, considering your traveling companion is an aggressive Type-A personality. Ahem.

Anyway, it's my belief that Mercer is a jerk. A jerk, as they say, with a heart of jerk. But very deep down, underneath all the cynicism, he has a hidden center, and that center is also a jerk.

In my opinion -and mind you, this is mostly just stuff I made up based on what you see in the game, so take it with a liberal grain of salt- he's the sort of person who judges actions rather than words. If you want to get on his good side (I'm not actually sure he has one either, to be honest), make it worth his time. Show him you're competent. Show him you can follow instructions. Do not, for the love of god, call him 'Captain Crankypants'.

Moar headcanon: Mercer's an egotist. Gallus was respected (as is Brynjolf), and Karliah was admired. Mercer, on the other hand, is feared- which works if you're trying to keep some semblance of order in a guild full of petty criminals, but is not particularly rewarding. It's part of what makes him so bitter.

It's this 'Non's opinion that half of the things he did were as much about forcing his fellow thieves to recognize his skill as they were about greed.

So yeah, appealing to that side of him might work, I dunno. And if all else fails, drag him with you on adveeeeeeentures so that you can bond. It's what I do.

I do so hope you're going to post your story up here at some point. Or a link. :3
I would love to read it, mmmyeeeeeeees. *grabbyhands*

I guess I fear that people will assume I'm not getting enough of the 'real deal' or something of that nature, which is funny since the only one that knows I write dirty ficlets is my fiance. He who had the pleasure of sneaking up behind me to find me writing something about werewolves gettin' it on.

I think my friends would laugh, and my mum would want to read them (all terribly awkward).

Soooooooo I was thinking.
It's established, at least in fanon, that merish ears are sensitive enough to be considered erogenous zones.

By that logic, does that mean that, to elves, earrings are the equivalent of genital piercings?

Yeah, don't mind me, my mind tends to wander into strange places when left to its own devices.
From: (Anonymous)
Sorry if this is long. I'm bored and this piqued my interest.

First of all, iirc, ears can be erogenous zones for us silly humans as well, but I suppose for elves it's simply much more sensitive, to the point where it becomes equivalent in sensitivity to nipples or genitals. (That's subject to variation among individuals of course, but I'm generalizing for the sake of this discussion.)

I wonder why they don't cover the things up, as it's clearly a huge disadvantage in certain situations. If just a twist of an ear, that extends from their head and is relatively easy to get to, could bring a mer to their knees (either in pleasure or pain, or possibly both), then I'd assume they would protect them at least. Uncovering them and touching them becomes an intimate act. And I can easily see any earrings becoming as intimate and kinky as nipple or genital piercings.

But, in Skyrim elves don't really cover up their ears specifically. They keep themselves to cowls and helmets, which man wears just as much as the mer. So they may wear them openly and proudly and unleash elven wrath on those who dare touch them, of course. Which might mean they have perpetuated this idea among man, who then don't even dare to reach for the ears of an elf, because of the mythical rage that comes over them? Having an earring might say 'look at me, I'm tough', even more so if one considers the pain the elf in question must have gone through in getting it pierced in the first place. And since the very idea of getting nipples or genitals pierced makes me cringe in almost physical discomfort, I guess it demands respect from fellow elves when a mer gets their ears pierced. That might be just me, though, and I have no idea how badly getting those places pierced actually hurts.

In any case, I'd say earrings can be equivalent to genital piercings, if the ears are that sensitive, if only for the pain involved. Perhaps not so much the kinky-ness of such a piercing, but that depends on the merish idea of ears and how one should treat them. I guess there's no canon to extrapolate that (couldn't find anything with a quick search... on the other hand, devs discussed Khajiit penis barbs in the past, so who knows), so I assume that One Simply Does Not Touch An Elf's Ear.

Bosmer & Lore

Date: 2012-04-17 12:53 am (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
Someone help me out here: the Bosmer are supposed to have this Green Pact about not harming plants, and they're also supposed to eat the bodies of their enemies. So would a Bosmer DB be obligated to do Namira's quest? Are wooden bows okay as long as you don't make them? How, exactly does--or should--this work in Skyrim?

Re: Bosmer & Lore

Date: 2012-04-17 06:46 am (UTC)
From: (Anonymous)
As far as I understand it, the Green Pact only pertains to Valenwood, so a Bosmer in Skyrim or anywhere else wouldn't be required to uphold it. If a Bosmer in Skyrim felt the need to do so, using a bow or something else wooden would be okay as long the wood didn't originate from Valenwood. I haven't completed completed Namira's quest but I don't know if you could consider the priest an enemy or if consuming him would be necessary since you basically kill him in cold blood.

In my personal opinion, Bosmers of Skyrim probably wouldn't have much to do with the Green Pact since they're most likely quite removed from the culture of Valenwood unless they themselves immigrated from there. Since only the Bosmers of Valenwood would be required to uphold the Green Pact by law, it would be more a religious choice of those residing elsewhere. So it's totally up to you I guess.

ALL OF THE FEELINGS

I feel sorry for the followers who have to trail after my Crocodile Hunter of an Altmer mage. His housecarl can't keep him out of the drippy, spider-infested caves, and he's always running up to her in the middle of a fight because LYDIA LYDIA LOOK AT THIS RARE PLANT I JUST FOUND. Not to mention the time he got his tongue stuck to the Eye of Magnus.

I'm honestly surprised he didn't have an aneurysm the first time he set foot in Blackreach. Trust me- it was the nerdgasm to end all nerdgasms.

Probably the only quest he didn't enjoy was Peryite's. Because it doesn't matter how much of an insufferable glass-cannon brain you are, being repeatedly showered with acid vomit is not a fun experience. Oh, how the memories of Thorian creepers come flooding back.

Worst enemy was probably Krosis. It was one of the rare moments when my character's reaction perfectly mirrored my own. That reaction being, "STOP THROWING FIREBALLS AT ME AND RUNNING AWAY LIKE A BITCH". Shearpoint pissed me off more than every other fight in the game, combined and lit on fire.

Rannandril's fallen hard for Mjoll. Unfortunately, he's shackled to a puppetmaster who ships Mjoll/Aerin, hard, and so he must content himself with making eyes at her from within the nearest available shrub. And probably waiting for me to go to sleep, so he can plot revenge. Nefarious.

There are so many fills on this glorious meme that I have no idea what to read first, and there's a severe lack of appreciation at the Recommend A Fill thread. So what I propose is: recommend some awesome fills!

Spread the love!

Clap Thy Hands For The New DLC!!

I know it's a bit premature but Bethesda finally announced the first Skyrim DLC called Dawnguard! (let us all take a moment to scream in fucking glee!)

It's rumored (well rumored) that it's going to involve a "Snow Prince", crossbows, vampires and mounted combat?

I know owners of the PC versions have looked at their file updates and seen a few interesting prep-files. I guess what I'm really just trying to say is FINALLY!!! DEAR GOD!

Lol, that was announced a while ago. But yeah it's exciting and I wish we knew more about it. Right now I'm just looking forward to the mounted combat update.
