I understand where you're coming from but like the other Anon said; this is fanfiction (and unless you're the OP then sorry but tough luck! ;) If you are OP then sorry!). Skyrim is a wonderful game but characterisation of the NPCs is somewhat neutral in order to allow the gamer choice in the open world setting and as such you can project your own ideas onto them. And the great thing about that is it can change. I love Aela and Skjor but in this universe they did what they did to Igne for a reason (and what they believe to be a rational one at that); the Silver Hand are meant to be a huge threat to the Companions in this story but in game they attack the Companions just once (to introduce them and lead to the werewolf side of the plot).
I am writing a story where the Silver Hand are a continuous threat to the Companions with active plots against them and the Circle are aware of this but they are not the aggressors (unlike in the game). Kodlak is trying to remove the Beast blood and Farkas and Vilkas are also abstaining; in my head Skjor and Aela were frustrated with this and also with what they perceive to be a lack of action on this front- how many times does Kodlak mention the Hand? Or send you on a quest to fight them? The Circle is dwindling and Skjor and Aela believe that Kodlak is throwing away centuries of tradition and a great gift. So they did what they thought they had to do and as soon as it was done Skjor felt guilty and went looking for her. As for Aela she still is convinced she gave Igne a gift and that it will help save her life. Her attitude may change slightly over the next few chapters but she is grieving and stubborn and needs vengeance.
There are conversations later on that explain this more and delve into Aela's mindset so either keep reading and trust me somewhat or stop reading. You are entitled to your opinion, so am I. It may not be what you want from a fanfiction. There will be more plot changes. There may be more of what you perceive to be OOCness. I am enjoying writing this and I will continue to do so (well until OP asks me to stop- I am their personal chef and they can fire me :p)
