Meme Announcements!
ANNOUNCEMENTS: UPDATED 12/16/2017
Happy Holidays, fellow Kinkmemers! I have returned and have no reasonable excuse for my absence except LIFE. I will be working on updating the archives. If anyone sees anything amiss, please let me know.
I am also hoping to find another Mod and an Archivist.
The more dedicated people we have in this Meme the less chance of it dying. I admit that being the sole keeper of the Meme is not great for the fandom. If something were to happen to me, for good, this place would go the way of the Fallout Kink Meme. Let's not let that happen! If anyone would be interested in Modding/Archiving, please drop me a line. Thanks! <3

-The follower has had something on their mind lately and spars aggressively.
-The DB has a small stature for a nord.
Bonus Bonus points if the follower is Teldryn Sero. I find the lack of stories involving him saddening. :c

-------------------------------------------------------
Raven Rock had been too far to reach before dark, and the reavers who had previously occupied to convenient campsite proved to be tough opponents. Liliana was weary, and she didn’t wish to push Teldryn's strength having so recently recovered from his injuries. However Teldryn was ever resilient. With each passing day he would gain twice the vigor as the day before. The sellsword really thrived in battle, evident by how he effortlessly parried and sliced through at least three reavers. Lily would swear that his life almost depended on the fight, much like many of the soldiers that were still fighting in the gods damned war in Skyrim.
"Your swordsmanship is extraordinary,” Lily complemented while taking a look at her own tiny and dull blade that she used in rare melee combat. “Did you learn your skills in the military?"
"More like honed them," Teldryn said nonchalantly as he checked over his new sword, "If you could call what I was involved with a military. It was more of a militia. As for where I learned to fight with a sword well, let’s just say Morrowind wasn't kind to wandering children like me."
"Did you fight in many battles in the militia?" Lily asked.
"More than I care to remember. Mostly it was up against bandits as we would escort refugees coming out of Vvardenfell during the Red Year, but a couple of the skirmishes got pretty deadly when we encountered stray Argonian infantry."
"You lived through the Red Year?" Lily wished she hadn't sounded so surprised, but elven longevity was one thing that never ceased to amaze her.
Teldryn seemed amused by her reaction in the way he smirked and raised an eyebrow. "Is that a surprise to you? Many of the Dunmer remember the Red Year quite clearly. In fact, I remember the Oblivion Crisis as well, though I was just a boy at the time. I even had the honor of meeting Saint Jiub before he eradicated the cliffracers."
"Do you have any remaining family?" Lily asked. She hadn’t really meant to make Teldryn tell her his life story over the past few weeks, but there was no harm in learning as much as possible about her traveling companion.
"To be completely honest I'm not sure anymore. I haven't seen my brother since the Red Year. He served in the Imperial Army, so Azura knows if he's even alive anymore."
"And your parents?"
Teldryn stopped fussing over his blade for a moment, his features beginning to darken. "They're dead," he said flatly.
"I'm sorry to hear that." That was a good place to stop with the pleasantries. She did not feel like pressuring him to answer more questions about family. It had made the night rather awkward so far.
Dagger Lessons (Teldryn Sero/F!Dragonborn) - Part 2
(Anonymous) 2013-08-17 03:33 pm (UTC)(link)Struggling to correct her grip again, she hesitated for a split second. “Damn,” she cursed under her breath as she noticed a bright red line of blood on the side of her finger.
She was unaware, or perhaps choosing to ignore, that Teldryn was watching the entire time, probably entertained by her ineptitude. “Have you ever sharpened a blade before?”
Liliana felt the heat in her face return. Focusing on the blade and stone, she kept her head down. “No. I didn’t exactly have the luxury of proper instruction out in the wilderness,” she huffed.
“Here.” Teldryn held his hand out. “You’re not sharpening anything that way.”
Reluctantly Liliana handed over the dagger and the little stone, and Teldryn promptly sat down next to her and began to work, angling the brass colored blade so it glittered in the firelight. Lily looked on with curiosity as he brought the stone across the edges of the blade methodically as if he had done it a thousand times. “You never want to saw back and forth. You might nick the edge and ruin it completely,” he instructed as he continued. “Also pay attention to the angle that the blade is already sharpened, otherwise you’ll just create a dull edge that you’ll need to sharpen again.” He flipped over the blade, and resumed with the same precise strokes.
In just over half the time it usually took her to sharpen the blade, Teldryn already was finished. He tested the edge against his finger before skillfully flipping it pommel–forward to return it. “Not as good as a blacksmith, but much sharper that it’s probably been in a while.”
Lily brought the edge of the blade along the pad of her finger, making the tiniest of cuts on the outer layer of skin. “Thank you.”
“Do you use it often?”
Lily placed the dagger back in its sheath. “Only when someone gets too close or I run out of magicka. I add poison to it since I’m not the best with wielding a blade, and even then it gets harrowing as the poison takes a minute or two to run its course.”
“You should learn how to properly wield it. Any weapon is worth using correctly.”
“No one’s ever taught me how to. My father had little use for blades. He hated them even. And I never was close enough to any soldiers or mercenaries to have them teach me.”
Teldryn gave her a cocky grin, got up, and rolled his shoulders. “Well, then it’s a good thing that you hired Morrowind’s finest swordsman to stay by your side should you ever get in a knife fight.”
Lily took a long breath before asking. While he was very haughty about his talent, she had to admit that it was warranted. From what she saw today, not even many of the Emperor’s legionaries could handle a blade as well as Teldryn could. “Will you teach me?”
She was ready for him to make an excuse about why he could not because of some unspoken rule, or that he would have to charge extra. “That’s what I was getting at,” Teldryn said, offering his hand, “Let’s go.”
Dagger Lessons (Teldryn Sero/F!Dragonborn) - Part 3
(Anonymous) 2013-08-19 08:36 pm (UTC)(link)Liliana shyly went to him, taking her dagger once again. Already she knew she was doing it incorrectly. “Try just holding it first,” Teldryn instructed. Liliana tried to remember his stance, putting her body at an angle and keeping her weight off her front foot. She held the dagger out, and held her arm out as well. “This feels off,” she said as she tried to force her arms to stay steady in the odd position. A stiff wind would be able to knock her down as awkward as she felt.
"Then let's concentrate on one thing at a time, shall we? First of all you're bending your wrist up and you should never keep your finger on the blade, especially if it's poisoned." Teldryn reached out without second thought or hesitation, and took her hand to adjust the grip she had on the hilt. His rough palms were very warm, almost hot. Lily tried to listen to what he was saying, but the shiver in her arm that quickly spread throughout her body was flustering.
"Got it?" he seemed to just suddenly say. Lily tried to pretend that she was listening the entire time. "Yes," she said, trying to keep her voice from wavering. She never was a good liar.
But Teldryn either didn't notice or didn't care. "Good," he said, "Now let's work on that stance. Put a little less weight on that back foot. The more you shrink back, the more likely you are to meet the wrong end of your opponent’s weapon."
Not before nearly losing her balance while trying to shift too suddenly, Lily squared her stance, feet planted firmly on the ground. She tried to ignore the heat beginning to well up in her face, and she attempted to discreetly hide behind her long hair. She also couldn't bring herself to look directly at her teacher. "Like this?" she said sheepishly.
"Almost." Teldryn walked behind her, and firmly took her shoulders to straighten them. Boldly he reached around her to adjust her blocking arm. He was too close, enough for her to catch the curious scent of charred earth mixed with his sweat. Lily was sure that her face was as red as a snowberry right now as she tried to concentrate. “You don’t want to block your field of vision, but you still want to be ready in case you need it,” she heard Teldryn say at some point.
When he let go, the air around her felt colder and she could finally breathe. Teldryn had a roguish grin on his face that sent a shiver through her chest, the same kind of grin that he got before he ran his sword through a reaver. When he unsheathed his new daedric sword, Lily admired the graceful precision in such a simple movement. The red detailing of the demonic sword glowed like hot embers as if it was coming to life. The dashing, smiling mercenary that held it took an aggressive stance directly in front of her. "Try to strike me," Teldryn invited.
Dagger Lessons (Teldryn Sero/F!Dragonborn) - Part 4/4
(Anonymous) 2013-08-19 08:46 pm (UTC)(link)"How else are you going to learn? Wood and straw can only teach so much. There's nothing like a living, breathing target of flesh."
"I'm not going to patch you up again!" Lily scolded, backing away but keeping her blade up should he decide to instigate.
"Who said that I would be the one you would be patching up, muthsera? The Best Swordsman of Morrowind isn't a fool's title." Teldryn seemed almost amused by Lily’s hesitation, still wearing a sinister grin. Lily didn't want to believe that he would really plan on hurting her for the sake of some weapons training, or gods forbid, some ulterior motive.
But her notions were shattered when Teldryn suddenly slashed his blade across her body. If Lily hadn't been ready, she was sure that he would have sliced her in half. "By the Eight, what in Oblivion are you doing?!"
"Do you usually say that to your foes when they're trying to kill you?" Teldryn taunted. He lashed out again, this time thrusting the sword point toward her gut. Lily quickly pivoted out of the way, giving Teldryn a terrified look, hoping that would make him stop once he saw that she wasn’t up for playing these kinds of games. It only seemed to make his smile wider. "Good dodge," he said, "But you can't keep defending yourself forever if you don't want me to kill you." He suddenly made a sweep for her head, and Lily ducked just in time.
Teldryn hadn’t snapped; he was perfectly sane. He knew exactly what he was doing. Lily built a weak fireball in her other hand and threw it towards him, hopefully just enough to throw him off balance and get him to stop. But he was quick, throwing up a ward that the fireball crashed against and shattered. "Has no one ever told you that fire is almost useless against my kind? Don't even think about using your magic. You wouldn't want to get burned."
The instinct of survival taking over, Lily slashed the blade of her dagger across Teldryn's shoulder, which he nimbly dodged. As Teldryn moved to strike at her wrist with his unarmed hand, Lily's guard was there to block, painfully. She went to thrust the point of the blade into Teldryn's ribs, but to her horror he caught her arm and pinned it beneath his. Out of the corner of her eye she saw that his sword hand was free to strike her. She glanced up into his red eyes, fierce and glowing, and she prepared to pray and beg for him not to kill her. He offered a more innocent grin, and let go of her arm before sheathing his sword. "Not bad. You still need some practice, but it was better than whatever you were doing before."
Lily tenderly touched her arm, glad to have it still attached to her living and breathing body. The dagger fell out of her hand into the ash. She held her palm over her chest. Her heart was beating against her ribs as if it was trying to fly out of her chest. Catching her breath, Lily closed her eyes and willed herself to relax. Gods have mercy on Teldryn Sero's foes, for they had to reckon with a deadly opponent. "Was that really necessary?" Lily complained weakly.
Teldryn chuckled a little.
"What in Oblivion do you find so funny?"
"Sorry if I was a bit rough, muthsera, but a reaver will show no mercy toward you. Nor will Miraak."
