ANNOUNCEMENTS: UPDATED 12/16/2017

Happy Holidays, fellow Kinkmemers! I have returned and have no reasonable excuse for my absence except LIFE. I will be working on updating the archives. If anyone sees anything amiss, please let me know.

I am also hoping to find another Mod and an Archivist.

The more dedicated people we have in this Meme the less chance of it dying. I admit that being the sole keeper of the Meme is not great for the fandom. If something were to happen to me, for good, this place would go the way of the Fallout Kink Meme. Let's not let that happen! If anyone would be interested in Modding/Archiving, please drop me a line. Thanks! <3

Dagger Lessons (Teldryn Sero/F!Dragonborn) - Part 4/4

Had he finally gone mad? "No. I don't think I could do--"

"How else are you going to learn? Wood and straw can only teach so much. There's nothing like a living, breathing target of flesh."

"I'm not going to patch you up again!" Lily scolded, backing away but keeping her blade up should he decide to instigate.

"Who said that I would be the one you would be patching up, muthsera? The Best Swordsman of Morrowind isn't a fool's title." Teldryn seemed almost amused by Lily’s hesitation, still wearing a sinister grin. Lily didn't want to believe that he would really plan on hurting her for the sake of some weapons training, or gods forbid, some ulterior motive.

But her notions were shattered when Teldryn suddenly slashed his blade across her body. If Lily hadn't been ready, she was sure that he would have sliced her in half. "By the Eight, what in Oblivion are you doing?!"

"Do you usually say that to your foes when they're trying to kill you?" Teldryn taunted. He lashed out again, this time thrusting the sword point toward her gut. Lily quickly pivoted out of the way, giving Teldryn a terrified look, hoping that would make him stop once he saw that she wasn’t up for playing these kinds of games. It only seemed to make his smile wider. "Good dodge," he said, "But you can't keep defending yourself forever if you don't want me to kill you." He suddenly made a sweep for her head, and Lily ducked just in time.

Teldryn hadn’t snapped; he was perfectly sane. He knew exactly what he was doing. Lily built a weak fireball in her other hand and threw it towards him, hopefully just enough to throw him off balance and get him to stop. But he was quick, throwing up a ward that the fireball crashed against and shattered. "Has no one ever told you that fire is almost useless against my kind? Don't even think about using your magic. You wouldn't want to get burned."

The instinct of survival taking over, Lily slashed the blade of her dagger across Teldryn's shoulder, which he nimbly dodged. As Teldryn moved to strike at her wrist with his unarmed hand, Lily's guard was there to block, painfully. She went to thrust the point of the blade into Teldryn's ribs, but to her horror he caught her arm and pinned it beneath his. Out of the corner of her eye she saw that his sword hand was free to strike her. She glanced up into his red eyes, fierce and glowing, and she prepared to pray and beg for him not to kill her. He offered a more innocent grin, and let go of her arm before sheathing his sword. "Not bad. You still need some practice, but it was better than whatever you were doing before."

Lily tenderly touched her arm, glad to have it still attached to her living and breathing body. The dagger fell out of her hand into the ash. She held her palm over her chest. Her heart was beating against her ribs as if it was trying to fly out of her chest. Catching her breath, Lily closed her eyes and willed herself to relax. Gods have mercy on Teldryn Sero's foes, for they had to reckon with a deadly opponent. "Was that really necessary?" Lily complained weakly.

Teldryn chuckled a little.

"What in Oblivion do you find so funny?"

"Sorry if I was a bit rough, muthsera, but a reaver will show no mercy toward you. Nor will Miraak."

I know there wasn't any smut in this (I'm not sure if that's what you were hoping for?), but I hope OP enjoyed it anyway!

I really need to begin working on the rest of it and get that thing posted already.

NotOP!anon loved this even without smut (though can see all kinds of delicious possibilities now). Teldryn and sword practice, oh my. I also loved the way you delved into his background. Will definitely read the whole story when you post it.

Also not!OP here, really enjoying this - did you put a fill to another prompt with Teldryn and Liliana? She seems familiar to me... Or maybe you're just that good at writing that she seems like she's been around forever :)

Anyway I love her, and I love Teldryn, and I really like that he shows her what she needs to know without making a huge fuss about it ;)

Nope. This is the first time I've ever posted anything online about Lily. She's inspired by a Game of Thrones character though. Maybe that's why she seems familiar? Anyway, I'm glad you liked the fill!
