Meme Announcements!
ANNOUNCEMENTS: UPDATED 12/16/2017
Happy Holidays, fellow Kinkmemers! I have returned and have no reasonable excuse for my absence except LIFE. I will be working on updating the archives. If anyone sees anything amiss, please let me know.
I am also hoping to find another Mod and an Archivist.
The more dedicated people we have in this Meme the less chance of it dying. I admit that being the sole keeper of the Meme is not great for the fandom. If something were to happen to me, for good, this place would go the way of the Fallout Kink Meme. Let's not let that happen! If anyone would be interested in Modding/Archiving, please drop me a line. Thanks! <3

Sheobaby
(Anonymous) 2013-01-18 09:45 pm (UTC)(link)Hands flung various objects out of a cupboard. By the time they hit the ground, they had turned into something else, many of which ought not to be described. The owner of the hands turned around, brandishing a wheel of cheese.
"Cheese!" The man cried. "Delicious, healthy, tasty, delicious Cheese." He pranced over to a table in the center of what shall be called the room, on which sat a baby making the various noises that babies make. It reached up with hands, grasping to get at the dairy delight.
"Oh you do want the cheese?" The man teased with a grin, holding the wheel just out of reach. The baby gurgled in the affirmative.
Laughing, he let the child take the cheese. While the baby ate, he picked her up and held her to him. He swayed it gently staring out at the portal. Small niggling doubts and suspicions ate at his mind like acid, but such was the manner of his mind that it made no difference to his outlook. Just another gust in a storm of disorganized ideas.
"Don't worry," he said cheerfully "mommy will come home soon. She just has to fight some big nasty dragon. Did I ever tell you about your mommy? Of course I did, but let me tell you again..."
Sheogorath started to walk away from the portal, swaying the child who was starting to fall asleep. As the mists of the Shivering Isle closed up around him, one could hear his sing-song voice telling a tale of dead kings and faithful servants and beautiful guests who just so happened to be your mommy dearest.
(Sheogorath because I -ing love Sheogorath.)

What kind of cheese? F!DB/Farkas
(Anonymous) 2013-01-21 07:42 pm (UTC)(link)"You know she's in there, sleeping, don't you, little rapscallion?" Farkas grumbled quietly, still half-smiling. "You know the bed in there is warm and welcoming. What you seem to forget is that I am Pack just as much as she is."
Baby made a happy noise at that; Hildreth said that Farkas knew his son's moods better than anyone - even the one who had borne the pup. She always smiled and kissed him when she said it, too. Farkas smiled and warmed at the memory.
"I am Pack Leader, she is Den Mother, and you, my boy, are the first of our Whelps. And you will always be the first - even if *he* insists on needing more attention in the daytime, he is not our first born. He is your twin, though, so you have to look out for him. He'll look out for you, too. That's what Pack is. I'll tell you this again, and again, when you're old enough to understand it, but I think you'll understand Pack without having it explained to you. That's what life in Jorrvaskr will do for you. Your Shield-Brothers-and-Sisters will be Pack, too, but not quite the same as me, your mother and your twin. And uncle Vilkas. He's Pack, too, even if he is a nosy wolf," Farkas spoke more loudly as he sensed his own twin awake nearby.
"Go to bed, brother," Farkas' elder brother said, with a fond half-smile. "You've bored him to sleep."
"'Night Vilkas."
"'Night lads."
Any kind of cheese you want!

(Anonymous) 2013-02-04 05:38 pm (UTC)(link)That Darn Dog 1/1 [F!Argonian!DB/Derkeethus]

------------------
"That's it," Derkeethus was careful to keep his voice no louder than a whisper, "sleep, my son." his gaze remained focused on the small bundle he gently rocked back and forth in his arms. He was also mindful of the sleeping dog, Meeko, laying near the fireplace. The hatchling he held, who was losing the fight against the increasingly overwhelming urge to sleep, wearily stared back up at him for a few moments more. A soft smile formed on Derkeethus's face. Their child really did have his mother's beautifully amber colored eyes. His smile dissipated at the thought of his beloved wife, for he did miss her terribly. She had been gone for five days as of that night, but it wasn't as if all the dragons and what not in Skyrim would stop what they were doing now that they had a son of their own. It was a nice thought though.
Derkeethus breathed a hushed sigh of relief when his son appeared to be genuinely falling asleep, but he didn't dare let up on his rocking or even sit down. He'd prefer not to endure another two hours of attempting - and failing - to lull the infant to sleep. Unfortunately for him, he didn't seem to be quite as skilled as his mate when it came to soothing their child. Amusingly enough, Derkeethus was quite certain he had gotten more sleep while they had been adventuring across the region, and that included plenty of sleepless nights back then. Of course, he wouldn't trade what he had now for all the hours of undisturbed sleep he could ever want.
The argonian slowed his pacing, watching the now slumbering infant a few moments longer. Confident that it was safe to lay him down in his own smaller bed nearby, Derkeethus began making his way over to it as quietly as he could. The bed built for two just on the other side of the room called to him despite the fact it would no doubt feel rather empty with one side unoccupied, but he didn't dare rush himself and risk waking his son.
Upon reaching the infant's bed, he gradually lowered his child onto it and delicately placed a kiss on the tiny argonian's forehead. Once that was done, he took a step back and observed him just a bit longer. "Sleep well, my son," he whispered and left the bed's side to climb into his own. He wasn't even going to bother changing out of his casual attire.
Just as he slid under his blankets, an unmistakeable sound from outside reached him. It was faint due to the fact he was indoors, and not to mention it sounded rather far off. Still, there was no doubt about what creature owned the call.
A dragon's roar.
At that very moment, Meeko instantly raised his head. With eyes wide open and ears perked up, the dog had immediately become fully alert.
"Meeko..." Derkeethus warned in a very low tone, looking over to make sure his son was still asleep. The infant still slept, but now Derkeethus was uncertain how long that would last.
The canine glanced in his direction before turning his attention back to the door, growling.
"No, Meeko. No!" Derkeethus tried to sound as stern as he could without actually raising his voice.
Meeko spared him another glance before standing up and making his way to the door, his growling growing louder.
"Please! Don't!" the argonian was practically begging a dog to allow him just a few hours of peaceful slumber.
When the accursed dragon roared a second time, Meeko barked once before erupting into a full barking session complete with scratching at the door and even barking in Derkeethus's direction with his tail wagging as if he were trying to tell him they should go dragon hunting at three in the morning.
Sure enough, the small child stirred from his sleep mere moments later and began to wail as loud as his tiny lungs would allow.
Derkeethus fell back onto his pillow in defeat. That damn dog never listened to him, why would he start now?

"Anekke" -- 1/1 -- Argis/FDB
(Anonymous) 2013-01-29 09:28 pm (UTC)(link)Over the fire, stew simmered, its smell permeating their home. It was almost ready, the ingredients cooked to perfection, spiced and salted and delicious.
Argis, however, was busy elsewhere.
He’d spread out a large blanket on the floor, and given Anekke the blocks he’d carved for her. There were letters and pictures on each of them, all different. She twisted them and ran her chubby baby fingers over the designs he’d sanded until there was absolutely no way for her to get a splinter.
She threw a block across the room, and giggled as Argis went to retrieve it.
“Da!” she shouted happily. “Da Da Da Da DA DA!”
He chuckled, and handed the block back to her. She threw it again, and he laughed. He had learned this game, had learned early on that he had to limit how many times he went to fetch the block or they’d be at it endlessly. So instead of retrieving it, he swooped in and scooped her up.
She shrieked happily, and squirmed until she hung upside-down from his arms.
“DA!” she squealed, nuzzling against his arm and leaving a trail of sloppy baby kisses across it. He pulled her close and inhaled that soft baby smell. She snuggled against him, sharing the drool on her face with him as she gave his cheek kisses.
“Anekke,” he answered. She giggled, and smacked his cheek with her baby fist. “Are you ready for dinner?”
“Ya!” She shouted, and he laughed once more.
Yes, as much as he adored his beautiful wife, he really did treasure these moments.

"How kind of you to join us, Galmar," Ulfric said, frowning slightly as his hassled, tardy Housecarl entered the Throne Room of the Palace of Kings. Galmar just grunted at him.
"You seem to have brought someone with you," Ulfric said with a questioning glance at the small bundle held in the crook of Galmar's arm.
"Hm? Oh, yes. Well, Calder and Rozenn couldn't take him to the Mages' College. Too dangerous. So I have him, and he's finally sleeping. So you'll have to conduct this meeting quietly so as not to wake him. Because if he wakes and starts screaming again, Shor help me I will make you eat--"
"We won't waken him, Galmar," Ulfric said quickly, cutting the man off before he could get creative with his threats.
Galmar nodded. "That's right. You won't."
Ulfric sighed quietly and turned to Jorlief, who stood beside the throne, "Sometimes I wonder if he knows which of us is Jarl."
Jorlief snorted and turned away before the irritable Housecarl spotted him laughing. The baby stirred in his blankets and mewled for attention. Ulfric rose from his throne and went to stand beside Galmar, watching the older man with the baby.
"May I hold him a moment, Galmar?" Ulfric asked, after watching him stroke his son's downy soft hair to quieten him.
"Hm? Oh, yes, you have yet to be formally introduced. High King Ulfric, meet Barengar Stone-Fist. Future High King of Skyrim," Galmar said, eyes glinting with amusement as he handed the baby over to Ulfric.
"Barengar?" Ulfric asked as he settled the infant against his chest, and looked down into solemn blue eyes.
"It means Bear - Spear. You know how Rozenn calls me her bear. I think this was her way of honouring me. You see how he favours her in looks. When he's fully grown he'll be a runt, er, I mean a Breton in appearance," Galmar explained. He stepped away from Ulfric and the baby, towards the throne. "Hmph. Good. He likes you, Ulfric."
"Do you think so?" Ulfric asked, still gazing at the innocent child in his arms.
"He's not making so much as a peep in your arms. Anyone else holds him and he can't see me or his mother and he screams like a banshee. Rozenn will be pleased I picked a decent godsfather for him." Galmar sank gratefully down into the fur-covered throne, and gave a mighty yawn. "Oh, and Ulfric, he doesn't like it if you sit. He will get loud if you try. Good night."
And with that, Galmar was sleeping on the Throne of Kings. Ulfric blinked.
"Jorlief," he said softly.
"Yes, my Jarl?"
"What am I supposed to do now?"
"You could try singing a lullabye."
