Niruin was so shocked for a moment he didn't have a thought in his head, and so for a moment he had nothing to say. The new thief kept talking though. "and, well, I thought-" "You thought what?" Panic rising. "Why is he here? What has he said?" "Oh the usual. Never should have come here, just a scratch, etc. Didn't really stop to chat, you know? Anyway, Sapphire said-" "What, Sapphire? What did she say?" The new thief looked puzzled. "She said I should bring you one of them. Thought it might cheer you up. Well, we figured they must have roughed you up pretty bad, and you haven't really took it well, and a bit of vengeance can do you a world of good, so my dad always said anyway. So I thought, what's the harm? If you don't want him, I'll just kill him and dump the body in the-" "Wait, he's still alive?" "Oh yeah. That's the point, really. So, shall I leave this with you?" Niruin examined the Nord's face, looking for signs of mockery, pity, anything that would indicate he had the faintest idea what he was actually talking about. Apparently not. He was offering him his...this...this with the same nonchalance one would offer a drink to someone who'd lost too much money on a wager. Niruin was too shocked to feel relief, he just nodded as his brain processed what was happening. "Great! Well, here's the rope." The new thief pressed the end of the rope tied to Linwe into Niruin's hand, then walked off, with the happiness that doing a good deed gives in his stride. Well now. Well. Niruin stared at the unconscious form before him for a long time. Then, suddenly, he dragged Linwe over to the training room, and shoved him into the chest with the strongest lock. Turning around, he noticed Rune over by one of the other chest, looking at him, surprised. "I need to get some things. Don't let him out." Rune nodded, tapped his nose, and gave a wry smile. Niruin strode out- he had some shopping to do.
Upon Niruin's return, muffled noises were coming from the chest. Linwe was awake.
