"Lady" part 2/?

It took awhile to accustom to the transition, but it became routine. The citizens of Whiterun became aware of the situation.  Many saw it as intervention of the Divines, others simply didn't care. Aela, Ria, and Njada taught Farkas to be a woman. When she woke up with a gut-wretching pain and blood between her thighs, they taught Farkas about a woman's moon cycle, brought her creme treats and pain potions, and comforted her as she cried. Farkas once made the mistake of asking how a woman pleasured herself.  Njada dragged her to a back room and slammed the door shut. When they emerged, Farkas had a red glow along her cheeks and Njada was grinning as she fastened her armor back up. The new shield-sister had lost strength with her smaller frame, and could no longer hold up her great sword. Njada gave her a shield and taught her to block, Aela gave her a bow and taught her about archery, Ria contributed a sword and improved her swing. Most importantly, the three taught her to differentiate between a friendly man, and a flirtatious man. Farkas was handsome as a man, and she was beautiful as a woman. Men often propositioned her for dates: Sigurd, when Ria took her to Belethor's to buy new clothes; Elrindir, when Aela taught her to pick arrows out at the Drunken Huntsman; Even little Lars Battle-Born gave her a flower, and told her she was pretty. Yet, Farkas showed no interest in them. Perhaps she was still attracted to women. That seemed unlikely, as Njada had gotten drunk the previous night and attempted to bed her. While it was strange, Vilkas was relieved. He didn't want men sniffing around his sister. She was an honorable woman, and if the time came, he'd pick an appropriate husband out for her. Gods forbid that time came.

(I decided to use Jenssen from the temple of kynareth as the boyfriend. He seems like the non-violent priest type.)

"Poor Arcadia must be so busy. We've been pestering her nearly every day for pain potions!". Ria laughed. Farkas had kept her agreeable personality, and she was thankful. Farkas put a hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry, shield-sister", she smiled, "maybe the Temple of Kynareth has some potions for your pains". The two women walked up the steps leading to the temple. Both had more casual clothes on, rather than armor. Ria wore a blue dress, trimmed with laces on the bust and white sleeves. Farkas wore a rough green dress with a hide corset. As they opened the door to the temple, Farkas stopped dead in her tracks. She stared straight ahead, and when Ria looked in the direction, she saw what Farkas was looking at: a man. He was a Nord, broad shouldered with a rough beard and scraggly hair. But his demeanor was not that of a warrior. He was graceful, hands held above a farmer, glowing gold with healing magic. His was much cleaner than a warrior too, skin free of dirt with soft looking hair. He wore priest robes and when the farmer was healed into a stasis, he smiled and gave a blessing of Kynareth. Farkas stared at him like a man stares at a woman in barmaid's clothes. "wh...who's that?" Farkas stuttered, tongue tied as the man's muscles bulged as he crossed his arms. "oh?, that's Jenssen", Ria said, a grin growing as she realized what was happening. "He hires the companions occasionally when a fox or dog wanders into the temple. He's a gentle man. Do you like him?". The way Farkas' face shone crimson gave Ria her answer. Danica, the priestess, noticed the women, and sent Jenssen over to help. "Hello, Ria!" he sang, his voice hearty and warm, "what brings you and your associate here today?". Ria sighed. "Well, it's my woman's time. Arcadia is out of pain potions. Farkas and I were wondering if you had any to spare.". Jenssen's eyes shifted to Farkas. "oh, you're Farkas? Ria told me about you! My, I didn't expect you to be so pretty!". The priest turned back to Ria. "I think we have a couple to spare". When he saw her reaching for her purse he waves his hand at her. "Don't worry about it. You and the Companions have helped the temple so much. It's the least I can do.". He turned and walked off, towards a storeroom. Farkas turned to Ria. "Did you hear that?" she squealed, hands clasped together, "He said I was pretty!". Ria patted her shield-sister shoulder. "Ask him out then."

"But Vilkas..."

"Forget Vilkas. This is about you and what you want."

Farkas didn't have time to respond, as Jensson came back holding three red bottles in his hands.

Ria and Farkas returned to Jorvaskr. The men were gone, something about mammoth hunting. Aela and Njada were sitting at the table, picking at bread and soup. Farkas practically skipped over to them. "Sisters, you won't believe it! I have a date!". She beamed, and Aela stood up and put an arm around her shoulder. "Wonderful. Who is he?". Ria piped up. "Jensson, Danica's assistant at the temple.". Aela smiled. "A kind man. You picked well sister. Come, we'll get you ready for your date.". Njada walked Farkas to the bathing rooms and plopped Farkas down in a steaming tub of water, scrubbing dirt and sweat of her body, face, and hair. Ria dried her, combed and put a plait in her hair, and applied a charcoal paste to the rims of her eyelids, making her lashes seem thicker. Aela brought out a set of blue quilted fine clothes, and a silver-sapphire necklace. "I wore these clothes once, at my cousin's wedding. They're not my taste, but they'll make for a memorable appearance.". She slid the clothing over Farkas' head, and linked the necklace around her neck. The women wished Farkas good luck as she set off for her date.

Vilkas came home first. "The others are still hunting. I got a kill and sold one tusk to Belethor. Got the other right here." He motioned to the tusk over his shoulder, and looked around. "Where's Farkas?". Aela answered, eyes never leaving the dagger she was sharpening, "on a date". Vilkas' face turned a nasty shade of purple. Steam nearly came out of his ears.  The mammoth tusk clattered on the floor as he reached for his sword. "WHO?" he bellowed, shocking the women, "WHO DARED DEFILE MY SISTER?". Njada came up and smacked the back of his head lightly before crossing her arms. "Relax", she commanded as he put the sword away, rubbing the back of his head gingerly, "it was Jensson, that nice acolyte from the Temple. Don't worry. If anything, she'll defile him.". Ria chimed in. "She's still the Farkas you knew. She may be a maiden but she's still a Companion.". "I think you're just being ice-brained" Aela said, deadpan and matter-of-factly, thumb running over the dagger's edge. She stood up and tossed it at the wall, the knife lodging in the wall an inch from Vilkas' head. "We've taught her well".
