Lately I feel as though every het story I've read has been written from a checklist. Kissing --> petting --> man on woman oral sex and/or fingering --> woman's first orgasm --> woman on man oral sex --> penis-in-vagina --> woman's second orgasm --> man's orgasm.

It's boring. And it doesn't seem very realistic to me. Some women have multiple orgasms some of the time. Not every woman, every time.

I'd like someone to spice it up. Take some of the usual fingering, oral, or p-i-v sex and add a finger in the bum - his, hers, or both. Or a dildo or buttplug in one hole and a penis in the other. Or a cock ring or leather strap to keep the man hard for longer. Anal beads. Frottage. A woman strapping on a cock to fuck her man. Not all of those in one story, obviously (unless it's very long and features many sessions of sex).

If you're unsure how to fit sex toys into the universe, remember that Skyrim has abundant horkers and mammoths for ivory, as well as glass, metal, and pottery. It has the Temple of Dibella in Markarth, who surely sell fun items, and probably produce pamphlets explaining how they're used. I wouldn't put it past the Khajiit traders to take sex toys, lube, and aphrodisiacs to other cities in their caravans.

In terms of a couple, I don't give a damn. Any long-haired, bearded man or mer except Ralof (he's reserved for Hadvar in my head canon). Any female of any race who is married or partnered to him (no cheating, please). I must confess to rather liking Jarl Balgruuf, Anoriath, Jon and Idolaf Battle-Born, all of the Grey-Manes, Erandur... the list goes on.

My only squicks are scat, death, and insufficient lube.

Amen, brother/sister. The thing about women having multiple orgasms bothers me so much, it just ruins the fic for me most of the time.

And I don't think sex toys would be out of place in this universe, like, at all. The truth is that the history of sex toys goes back a long way in actual real life, it's just that puritanical researchers and historians downplay the spicy side of things most of the time.

I remember my favourite lecture in Greek and Roman civilisation being called Ancient pornography, but was a whole lot of fairly ordinary painted ceramics and frescoes, it was just that the men who found them were so titillated that they wanted to keep them for their own...uses.

I... kinda like the multiple orgasms in fics, but I think that's just so that I can imagine I'm having them. Never had one, myself, so it's nice to think it *could* happen to me ;__;.

Although some of my favourite authors now do sex scenes where the woman has no orgasm or nearly has one, and it's only as the couple get to know each other or try new positions that it happens, which seems more realistic IMO, especially as the woman is often a virgin in these stories and has no clue what she's doing.

Also, Dwemer sex toys are entirely feasible in the Elder Scrolls fanlore, and that's aside from the Nords making things themselves. I mean, if they can make toys for children, surely they can make toys for themselves.

I wrote a fic a while back on Part 3 featuring Sylgja and a werewolf M!Nord!DB, and there was anal fingering (in Beast Form, no less!).
