Well since we're in Fill-a-thon mode no new prompts will be posted. However we've never had a fill-a-thon where prompts haven't been posted. I'd rather them be posted here than on Page 4. If a prompt is accidently posted during the fill-a-thon I generally don't delete it, I just don't add it to the delicious archive until the thon is over.

So in essence. If someones going to post anything that isn't in response to a prompt, it should be here, even though we're in Fill-a-thon mode. I hope that answered your questions without being too vague.

Unhappy Marriages

(sorry if this is posted before the end of the Fill-a-thon but I have this fear I will forget...)

So Skyrim seems like the kind of place where marriage is pretty essential and hence not always happy.
I was some forced marriages, perhaps from unrequited affection, some angst, some lovin', perhaps awkward loving were no real love in shared (from at least one of the parties).

I imagine a bit of resentment, distance and angst here.
Pretty dumb prompt, but feel free to do with it what you want A!As.

The Ties That Bind (Minifill!) 1/2

So I just threw this together because in my head I've been toying with them for a while now, I chose Idgrod the Younger and Sirgar (he's the son of the Jarl who takes over if you follow the Stormcloak questline). Its rushehd but I hope you like it! :)

The Ties That Bind

Idgrod will never admit she’s a little frightened of him.

Which isn’t fair, she knows that. He’s never done anything wrong to her, never hit or shouted at her, never forced her into his bed - there was always the lingering worry he would when his family first approached her Mother. It’s not his fault he’s tall, broad and muscled from his days as a miner. It’s not his fault his family took away her childhood home either.

Their first introduction was awkward.

His family weren’t even from Hjaalmarch, and as the dust settled from the civil war alliances were built once more. Idgrod had always known her life meant nothing but the security of the hold, now that meant lying with a man she hated.

No, that’s not fair either.

She doesn’t hate him. In his own way he can be charming. He blushes and blusters and lets Joric have his old room back, allows the poor child some familiarity for when everything becomes too much for him. When it comes to ruling, it is her judgement they take, because he was born to be a miner, and she to be a Jarl.

They share a bed, and he is not shy about coaxing her to the point where her mind melts and nerves explode with sensation. In those moments she loves him because those wicked fingers know each and every stroke and caress that sends her shuddering around him. She can fool herself into thinking she’s not empty inside because he fills her so completely and brings her to the point of such bliss it can take hours for the simmering bitterness that gnarls around her heart to return.

She cannot love a man who fears despises magic so openly. Nor a man who loathes to read.

When news of the Dragonborn’s husband’s death arrives, the stories soon follow of how she stormed Sovngarde to see him again. The bard’s sing of it for years, a woman with the soul of Dov unable to live without the love of her life.

All Idgrod can think about is the relief she’d feel at her husband’s death. With that brings guilt more painful than any cruelty he has made her endure.

Sirgar turns to her in his grief when his parents finally die. He realises she can’t comfort him on this, the wounds inflicted on her own parents by those usurpers make it impossible. The resulting argument is so intense Joric flees the city. She doesn’t find her brother again for weeks. He’s safe, staying in Windstad manor and talking enthusiastically to a little girl his own age, like his mind’s finally clear of everything that’s plagued him since he was a little boy. The housecarl calls it puppy love and Idgrod can’t help but hate herself for feeling jealous of children .

After their second child, making them parents of two healthy babes who squeal and then suddenly walk so much younger than what she had been expecting, Sirgar doesn’t touch her. No longer is her husband hopeful that they will one day grow to love each other. A small part mourns that optimistic part of him; he’s a harder man without it.

Since it's the 12th of July here in Europe, I will finally post my prompt :D

The F!DB!'s househusband once married a plain, lovely, chubby young woman. He was happy with her, never asked for more than a simple life with his simple wife.
When she turns out to be the Dragonborn, his world is upside down.

Slowly, his chubby little wife turns into a well-toned, slim, strong, confident and uber-powerful woman. She comes home clad in dark leathers, and one day even in forsworn armour.

The househusband loved his wife the way she was, but even he can't deny that she has never been this hot before. He is a simple man with simple pleasures, but his wife has been tansformed into this minx, this image of female sexuality.

Show me what happens when she comes home after long absence, dressed in something entirely unexpected but irresistable.


As husband, I'd like to see someone like Roggi Knot-Beard or something similar. Maybe a miner or something, just someone who has nothing to do with heroism or war.

Also I'd really love the DB! to be human.
Absolutely no squicks. Actually, the rougher and harder, the better.

Some of the possible spouses don't take much convincing to agree to marry the DB!.

My favourite example is Sondas Drenim. Deliver a letter to Windhelm and he will marry you.

I was wondering what is going through such a spouse's head when the F!DB! is wearing the amulet of Mara.
Sondas admits that he has been a miner for more than a century, which means he is pretty old for human standards. He has probably not been married before, but as soon as the DB! enters the picture, he is ready to share his life with her.

I'd like to see his thoughts when he first meets the DB!, this living legend, the war-hero etc. etc.

Is it love at first sight? Lust at first sight? Some kind of hero-worship, or just the fact that the most powerful woman in Skyrim wants him and only him? Or maybe all of the above?

Whatever it is, I want it to end in mind-blowing sex. So mind-blowing that even a century of experience will almost make poor Sondas faint.
I'd also really really love a human DB!.

If you'd rather use a different spouse than Sondas, that is fine with me, as long as he has a background that has nothing to do with power or politics.

Mercer Frey

I admit: I do have a terrible crush on old Mercer.

I want Mercer Frey to be secretly in love. No, I don't want him to be happy, and no, I don't want anyone in Skyrim to find out.
I'd just like to see his inner battle and moral dilemma as he has to do what he thinks he has to do.

The obvious choice would be the Dragonborn. Maybe he even lures her to Snow Veil Sanctum / tries to kill her there because he is jealous of her close relationship with Brynjolf? (He does say he will greet Brynjolf from her, after all)
Maybe he even lets her kill him, because it is easier than to live with the knowledge that the one thing he really wants is the one he can never have?

So many possibilities.
In the end, I don't care what it is. I just want to see him broken-hearted. Maybe she even reciprocates, and he will never know? Break my heart, dear Anons :D

Title: Break-in

He was not struck by her immediately, that would've been too cliche. Mercer was above that. He was a little curious about her, however. She was petite, nearly two heads below him. Her eyes were brown and her hair was brown and her skin was dark, reddish-black like the sands of Cyrodill at night.

She was not interesting, not truly so, until she got into a fight. Sapphire said something, stepped on her metaphorical toes and they exchanged harsh words. Sapphire shoved her and the newcomer turned her head skyward and shouted. Rafters shook and everyone stumbled, and stared. Her eyes darted around the room and she snarled, and left.

Brynjolf looked over at Mercer with wide eyes and began laughing. Leave it to him to pick up the dragonborn.

Mercer did not talk much to her. Mercer just watched. When she was idle during training she spun the twin daggers in her hands. She licked her lips before throwing one, then the other, in rapid succession. She sprinted to retrieve them in quick, long strides, and would leap back.

Mercer wanted to crush her.

The fire in her eyes filled him with disgust. She was everything the Thieves Guild NEEDED, everything he despised. It would be easy. She was a sound sleeper! If he slit her throat, the panic it would cause would be legendary.

But Mercer hesitated, and every time he did, he regretted. But he wanted to see where she was going with this. When would she go out in a blaze of glory? Would she get arrested? Would she get killed by an assassin, by a guard? He wanted to know. Wanted to see every bit of what she would do.

And so she climbed to the top, bit by bit, job by job. Intimidation, murder, nothing was below her. She gained friends, or maybe worshippers. They were afraid of her. Mercer was not. She was small and lithe, her voice grew reedy when frustrated, and sometimes when a job did not go her way she returned and threw a fit and yelled and kicked things until she had tears in her dark eyes that she could wipe away quickly.

Once he witnessed Brynjolf supporting her while her right leg limped. Someone slashed her leg while she was jumping away, but it could be easily healed. Brynjolf took her to her bed and wiped at her sweating face as it was bandaged, joked with her, laughed with her. Mercer just watched as a knot started to tie in his stomach.

Mercer wanted to be the one to see her weak, to see her in pain, to heal her wounds just to cause them again. Mercer wants to have her, to keep her.

I'd like to see a human woman (Dragonborn or not is up to anon) forced into stealing something from the Companions and one of the male Circle Members (Kodlak, Skjor, Vilkas, Farkas, though I can't really imagine Kodlak in this situation) catching her, who then shows her the error of her ways. After a punishment he learns of her reasons and tries to make amends which ends in smutty goodness, maybe even romance?

Why is she forced to steal from them? I don't know, maybe she made a mistake and owes Mercer Frey an enormous debt? Maybe it's the only way she can protect a sibling? Maybe it's a set up? As long as there's an actual reason other than her being a member of the thieves guild I'm a happy camper!

We all know that the marriage between Bolli and Nivenor is...unstable, at best. They're at odds over what they want, and it's implied that they're both cheating on each other.
So imagine my surprise when a thief wanders into Riften one night and the two of them immediately grab daggers and kill him together. At which point it occurred to me--this is exactly what the two of them need!
So, let's have some adrenaline sex between these guys. Maybe they've just taken down a thief or a vampire, maybe a dragon has even swept down on Riften and they were part of the fight that brought it down. Either way, all that fighting and teamwork reminds them of some pent-up emotion, and they proceed to have loud and energetic sex.

So after dragging Onmund (the Nord College mage apprentice) all over Skyrim with my vampire Dragonborn, I always wondered why he didn't react at all to her breaking into peoples' homes to drink their blood.

I mean, I understood it from a 'it's a videogame' point of view, but it still seemed silly.

So I want a female vampire Dragonborn (any race, honestly, like, I must confess I love elves to death but I know others prefer humans and what-not) who goes around breaking into homes and sucking blood.

Her follower and love interest (any gender, any race, whoever's your favourite) the first time thinks they're going to rob the person, then realises that no, no that's not what's happening here.

Cue him/her confronting the DB once they leave the house about this vampirism thing, wondering if the DB has fed off them, etc. I, uh, want the DB to somehow convince her LI that she's mostly harmless (as harmless as a vampire can be, anyway) and the LI keeping her secret, or something like that, because I am a sucker for the happy ends.

Please forgive the long-windedness of the prompt ;)

My DB is all about the stealth. Loves burglaries, prefers to reduce enemy numbers from a distance by arrow, likes to sneak into a tomb and sniff out potential hazards before tackling them. She tends to go it alone, most of the time, but sometimes she misses the camaraderie of having a Shield Brother or fellow Guild Member with her.

So she recruits someone to go dungeon delving, exploring Dwemer ruins, or just plain wandering around the Reach looking for a fight to pick with some Forsworn or bandits. And they haven't got the first clue about Sneaking. They break out their weapons/mage armour spells before the DB has located all the enemies, they alert the Spheres and Spiders to the presence of intruders, and gods dammit, they trigger the pressure plates in such a way that the DB gets hit with the swinging spiked door.

Give me crack, good Write Anons. Give me humour, and most of all give me your Dragonborn(s) facepalming as their well-meaning followers get them deeper into trouble than anticipated when they were hired.

Any gender and any race for DB (as long as they are exasperated I'm happy).
Any follower you like, (although I've been using Aela and Marcurio, and keep yelling at them to stop charging into battle before I'm ready)
If you want to go the smut route, my only squicks are of the consent variety.

SUPER EXTRA BONUS POINTS for the DB commenting on the follower's unsubtle approach and the follower taking it as a compliment :D

She's happy living in Skyrim with boyfriend/fiance Farkas but wants to visit home so her (disapproving) parents can meet him and she can try and persuade them that marrying Farkas isn't the biggest mistake of her life.

Cue a trip to Cyrodiil with Farkas in tow.

Give me him being completely baffled by the place, people and culture. Extra points if he's floored by the hotter weather and the DB finds him sprawled across the bed naked whenever she walks into their room. (I'm British and it's hot over here. I don't know how to deal with it. Show me this in Farkas form!)

The lack of Daedric Princes makes me sad. Anyway, in Sanguine's Quest F!DB ends up traveling to his part of Oblivion all for his staff. That doesn't sit right for her. She wants more than the Rose for what she considers her worst wasted moment in her life. Que F!DB's proposal of compensation:

Sexual Favors for the rest of her eternal Dragonborn life. Whenever she WANTS. Even if its in the middle of a battle...in Blackreach...where the lighting sets the mood.

Just finished an assassination mission and F!DB feels the urge...call on Sanguine!

F!DB is in an inn and drinks a couple, wants to cuddle? CALL SANGUINE!

Eventually dominantF!DB gets the tables turned on her after calling him one too many times and Sanguine decides to make her his.

Given the high levels of racism in various parts of Skyrim (Ahem, Windhelm residents, I'm talking to you.. Hircine's balls on a stick, some people are jerks) I was wondering if playing a Khajiit would make people less willing to help/talk to me and so on in quests. In fact I was a little disappointed that it didn't affect the gameplay much, because hey, it would be kind of nice for a game to show some people what it's like to have others treat you badly based solely on your race.

(Although this one time, I did a quest for a random perfectly nice-seeming Nord woman. I finish the quest, she thanks me, then I bump into her like a day later and she says contemptuously "What do you want, cat?" Asshole.)

Anyways, I have been thinking about racism in Tamriel and I want fic about it. I have a thing for Khajiit, but if you wanted to write about Dunmer or Argonians that would be interesting too. Any kind of situation really. Here are some I thought of, maybe I'll write one myself... hmm...

Thane!DB wanders around with their housecarl. Merchants and so on address the housecarl and not the DB.

Guards won't let the Khajiit!Player into a city, treating them the same as the traveling Khajiiti traders.

Khajiit!DB joins the Stormcloaks, the other fighters don't trust them because they are assumed to be a thief. Insert the classic "I am cured of being a racist jerk because you saved my life" storyline if you want XD

Does the DB keep getting arrested for frivolous offenses where others would just get a fine of 1 gold?

Is Khajiit!DB sick of everyone thinking you're a stealth character/thief when you're actually an enchanter, healer, alchemist, blacksmith, heavy-armor melee fighter, whatever?

Do people yell race-based insults at you? Skooma-eater.. swamp-scum.. grayskin..

How does the DB react? Totally up to you.

Although it would be fun to see a racist dumbass learning this life skill the hard way: Never challenge a Khajiit to a fistfight.

Neloth's Kidnapping Hobby Backfires

It was established in the game, Morrowind, that Neloth was fond of kidnapping young women and ransoming them back to their families. When Neloth catches wind of the (female) Dragonborn arriving on Solstheim he's largely disinterested, but when she becomes entranced by touching the Earth Stone after their first meeting, he takes the opportunity to indulge in his hobby once again, assuming someone somewhere will surely pay a ransom for someone deemed so important by the unwashed masses.

Surprise! Though the Dragonborn may be the heroic slayer of the World-eater, she also has an ego and lack of manners outmatched only by Neloth himself, and there isn't a living soul in all of Tamriel willing to pay a single septim for her release. When he realizes he's stuck with her, he also realizes that he's grown fond of her. What's a snarky, pompous, Telvanni wizard-lord to do?

Was making yet another play through and came up with an idea.

Very innocent and naive young woman in the role as DB. Only combat skill she has is possibly restoration magic and while she is useless in a fight she tries to help poor Hadvar who has to escort her to safety at the start of the game. She vows to show up and join the empire because in her mind they have to be the good guys!

Fast forward a few months/years and she actually shows up to join the Empire. Turns out the little girl saved the world, is archemage(or harbinger or what ever) and is generally a badass.

And because it's the kinkmeme, they bang?

Ghorbash the Iron Hand leaves Dushnikh Yal to travel with the F!DB and they eventually get married. Months (or years?) later, he and his wife go back to the orc stronghold for a visit, but the clan isn't exactly happy to see him. Especially now that he's "dishonored the position his brother made for him" and then gone and married a human.

What are they doing there (stuck in bad weather? injured? chief getting another wife?)? How does Ghorbash react to his clan's animosity? How does the Dragonborn? What do they do to make their time there tolerable?

I'm in the middle of writing something similar to this! How strange!

I've been bad and not updated for a while but I'm getting back on it soon. It's called "In Hot Water" and it's part of a series of DB/Ghorbash stories.
