Hello kmeme!

I have this prompt that I've been thinking about a whole lot - basically, I play as a typical Nord, Companion, Goody goody F!DB who was raised in a church or whatever and never does anything bad (initially). However, I also love me some Brynjolf, because who doesn't, and I kinda sorta want to see them interact, but my paladin-y stealing-is-wrong wouldn't touch the Thieves Guild with a 10-foot pole.

Basically what I'm asking for is that for some reason, a really moral, really law-abiding DB somehow ends up helping the Guild, without actually being IN the guild, and all the complications that come with that. Maybe she get's banged up and someone (cough*bryn*cough) brings her to the cistern and heals her, and she feels like a debt is owed? (bitch is all about honour and debts)

I will sell my uterus if somehow:
- the DB is a companion, and all the thief are like "wtf she can't sit with us"
- the DB is a nordly nord female, and can swing a sword and everything
- F!DB/brynjolf...typical

If there is smut, kinks are poop things and blood/overly dominating whatever

I've thought about this a lot with my Nord PC. I kinda hate how they force you to do the first quest with Brynjolf in order to progress with the main quest line with Esbern and all. (unless there's a way around that and I never knew because I'm a derp-nut). Either way, this prompt very much intrigues me.

I can't promise you that I'd fill it or that even if I did, it'd be any good...but I would really like to try and fill more prompts here and this one, besides others I have bookmarked really reaches out to me and my playing style which makes writing easier.

Brynjolf is my favorite guy and I always wished he coulda been a marriage option. I guess, before I think about attempting this, I wanna ask: is smut necessary? I'm not really proud of my smut and sometimes feel uncomfortable writing it.

Also, does OP want it to be known to others that the main character is DB? And does OP want DB to be named? Or remain unnamed?

You can go straight to Vekel and bypass brynjolf entirely, but it is required to get all of the "Become Ethereal" shout

(If you do want to fill) Smut is not necessary at all A!A, and I've never written it either so I know what you mean. I was honestly thinking of autofilling as well. Just any kind of morally high ground heavy warrior having to do sneakily thief things just sounds funny.

The rest is up to you op, named or not named, DB or not yet. If she does know about her soul-eating destiny then I wouldn't mind it being relatively new to her (like, hasn't seen greybeards yet? w/e).

Also that poop thing was supposed to be a squick not a kink and im kinda embarrassed about that

Ah, the character I had in mind for this one is not so 'goody goody' rather than she is just not into thieving and isn't really good at being a thief at all so it amuses me that Brynjolf would ask for assistance for a heist and setup from someone decked out in complete heavy armor and a huge weapon.

So mebbe I shouldn't fill?? I'd hate to hijack and fill and not have it be what OP wanted ;^;
