Marrying out of duty, turns to love anyway

An odd one, but bear with me.

Two people marry out of duty for some reason. Whether it be because one got the other pregnant, or because one needs heirs or is just really broody, it's for family or political reasons, whatever. But there's more! One of the parties was married before, possibly even had kids, but their first spouse died and left them bitter and heartbroken and they swore they'd never marry again. That was some time ago and the grief's eased off but even so, they still don't want another spouse... except now they're having to marry again anyway.

So they tell future spouse not to expect anything emotionally - they will provide for them, give them a roof over their head, have sex sufficiently often to have kids if it's an opposite-sex couple, or adopt if same-sex, co-parent any children, be seen socially with spouse, etc. Only they won't be lovers and spouse is allowed to have liaisons of their own if they're discreet. Spouse agrees, wedding happens.

Except spouse wasn't entirely honest. Spouse gets curious. Spouse fancies the grieving one like nothing else and starts to fall in love. Cue a subtle at first but later more obvious slow seduction and courtship, with bereaved partner realising after some time this isn't a marriage of convenience any more, culminating in declarations of love (possibly after some crisis or argument where bereaved partner fears they've lost the other for good). Passionate sex ensues.

Any race, any gender. Bonuses for use of either: Brynjolf, Elisif, any of the Companions, one of the Mallories or Argis, but I'm not fussy. Galmar also an option. Would love a bit of an age difference between the two.

Kinks: fluff, oral, passionate urgent sex of the tearing each other's clothes off variety, snuggling, high drama, biting, fingering, kisses like sex standing up

Squicks: hardcore bdsm, non-con, spousal abuse, maiming and mutilation, messing with each other's heads for the sake of it, Siddgeir, Erikur, any Black-Briar or Silver-Blood, any member of the Thalmor, character death (unless it's a Silver-Blood, Black-Briar or Thalmor).

I'm surprised this has gotten zero attention whatsoever; I fucking love this prompt and all it stands for.

Why do I have so many long-term commitment prompts. Q.Q I'll try to do something for this eventually.
