Thanks! Yes, I did some plot outlining before I started, just to make sure I'd have a direction for the fill. I planned out some of the scenes and had a vague idea how the story would eventually end. I wrote the first four chapters before I began posting to give myself a buffer. Having buffer chapters lets me go back and tie in some foreshadowing throughout the story to strengthen the plot. I had a general idea of where I wanted Jaenna and Ulfric's relationship to go, but I did not necessarily always know how exactly some of it would happen. Thanks for reading!! :)
