ANNOUNCEMENTS: UPDATED 12/16/2017
Happy Holidays, fellow Kinkmemers! I have returned and have no reasonable excuse for my absence except LIFE. I will be working on updating the archives. If anyone sees anything amiss, please let me know.
I am also hoping to find another Mod and an Archivist.
The more dedicated people we have in this Meme the less chance of it dying. I admit that being the sole keeper of the Meme is not great for the fandom. If something were to happen to me, for good, this place would go the way of the Fallout Kink Meme. Let's not let that happen! If anyone would be interested in Modding/Archiving, please drop me a line. Thanks! <3
Sleepless - Part 47/?
Date: 2013-09-25 01:01 pm (UTC)Ariella looked to Vilkas and squeezed his hand. Her heart rate had increased and she was scared.
Across the room was a word wall, she didn’t know how she would react to it but she didn’t want to pass out like last time. They walked up together and as they got closer Vilkas’ hairs stood on end. He could sense the magic in the air even if he couldn’t see it. Ariella’s hair picked up slowly and lightly as if blown by a breeze. He eyes flickered; she swayed on her feet for a moment before balancing herself using Vilkas as support. When the magic died down Ariella closed her eyes tightly for a moment and then the death grip she had held his hand in released.
“I’m okay.” She said softly. He was about to comment back to her but the all too familiar sound of stone scraping interrupted him. They both turned to see a drauger death lord climbing out of his coffin.
Vilkas didn’t know what he suspected. He should have realised that there was a reason that this area was sealed off. Ariella dropped back to give some distance for her to arch. As much as Vilkas adored her she was fairly hopeless at close range combat. Fair in long ranged but he had to keep an eye on her as well as her target to make sure he wasn’t in the way or about to be hit by a stray arrow.
He drew his great sword off his back and slashed at the drauger. While some would consider it to be dishonourable to hit an enemy while they were still getting up there was no honour in the way drauger fought, no honour in the very way they were still living.
Vilkas got in two fair strikes before the drauger stood. There was an arrow sticking out and while the drauger was certainly injured it was still strong. Vilkas slashed at the knees hoping to get a clean slice.
Then the foul death lord stood firm and let out a shout, which sent Vilkas slamming into the word wall. He got up quickly and Ariella ran over, abandoning her archery. Though Vilkas wished she didn’t, it was so much easier for her to get hurt and any time she let out a cry or sound his wolf growled wanting release.
Ariella shouted back at the Death lord, which turned it’s attention solely to her. It started speaking in the ancient Dragon tongue and while it was distracted it gave Vilkas the chance to drive his sword through it’s chest.
Once they were sure it was dead they looked around the chamber. The only thing they found of interest was a stone tablet, which Ariella insisted they take.
“So what did the Drauger say?” Vilkas asked as they were starting their walk back down the hill.
“I couldn’t understand. I could catch some words but I’m not sure.” She laughed back.
“The Dragonborn doesn’t know the dragon language. All praise the saviour of the world.” She punched him square in the arm, possibly doing more damage to her hand. He chuckled and slung an arm over her shoulders. “So shall we make for Whiterun?”
“It would be good to get back home.”
“Perhaps we should sell some things in Riverwood so we don’t have to carry them all the way home.” Ariella nodded.
