ANNOUNCEMENTS: UPDATED 12/16/2017
Happy Holidays, fellow Kinkmemers! I have returned and have no reasonable excuse for my absence except LIFE. I will be working on updating the archives. If anyone sees anything amiss, please let me know.
I am also hoping to find another Mod and an Archivist.
The more dedicated people we have in this Meme the less chance of it dying. I admit that being the sole keeper of the Meme is not great for the fandom. If something were to happen to me, for good, this place would go the way of the Fallout Kink Meme. Let's not let that happen! If anyone would be interested in Modding/Archiving, please drop me a line. Thanks! <3
Sleepless - Part 65/?
Date: 2013-11-19 01:03 pm (UTC)When they had entered it all happened quickly but in her gut Ariella knew exactly what happened. There were shouts from the Silver-Hand as the two Companions stormed the room. Despite the focus on keeping herself alive Ariella could smell the blood that stained the air. She knew exactly what she would be confronted with once every last one of them was dead.
Ariella’s sword slashed the man’s throat and he was soon choking on his own blood. Perhaps in other circumstances Ariella would have put him out of his misery, yet her attention was drawn elsewhere.
Aela’s cry soon filled the fort, echoing off the walls, confirming what Ariella already knew and breaking her heart. Ariella turned towards the cry and sure enough Aela was hunched over Skjor’s body; unmoving, lifeless.
She was frozen in her place. She watched as Aela panicked, through primal cries of anguish she attempted to squeeze some life out of her fallen friend. Skjor’s armour was wrecked, pierced by arrows, dented by blows and coated in blood.
Ariella’s feet moved of their own accord. She knelt by her friend and placed a hand on her shoulder. As Ariella looked down at Skjor she realised she’d been crying but she couldn’t say for how long.
The two sat mostly in silence, aside from the sobs and cries. Yet after they sat there for a while Ariella knew they needed to move.
“Aela, we have to go.”
“They will pay for this…” Her voice was broken, unsure, “I’ll stay here for a while longer, with Skjor.”
Ariella shook her head and stood. “We have to get him back to Whiterun.”
The huntress looked as though she was ready to kill the Breton. Yet after a few soft words the Huntress settled and the two hoisted Skjor up, bearing the weight on their shoulders they began to walk.
