ANNOUNCEMENTS: UPDATED 12/16/2017
Happy Holidays, fellow Kinkmemers! I have returned and have no reasonable excuse for my absence except LIFE. I will be working on updating the archives. If anyone sees anything amiss, please let me know.
I am also hoping to find another Mod and an Archivist.
The more dedicated people we have in this Meme the less chance of it dying. I admit that being the sole keeper of the Meme is not great for the fandom. If something were to happen to me, for good, this place would go the way of the Fallout Kink Meme. Let's not let that happen! If anyone would be interested in Modding/Archiving, please drop me a line. Thanks! <3
Sleepless - Part 66/?

The walk was gruesome. Ariella didn’t have the strength to carry Skjor back, even when sharing the weight with the taller Huntress. Her muscles burned in protest at every step but she didn’t stop; she wouldn’t stop until Skjor was back at Jorrvaskr.
Ariella couldn’t seem to stop herself from crying as she carried her fallen friend and from the sobs she heard Aela couldn’t stop crying either. Aside from those occasional loud sob everything was silent.
There wasn’t even a bird singing or a rabbit rustling in the bushes. Everything seemed to keep away from them. Some bandits did stumble upon them at one point but the two women were far too grief stricken to care and the Bandits, noting their dead companion left them alone.
Aela’s strength was failing as they neared Whiterun. Her feet dragged and Ariella had to bear more of the weight than she thought she could handle. Yet despite every muscle aching and screaming in protest she kept on walking.
When they approached the Whiterun gates everyone fell silent. The guards opened the gates for them without a word and the people in the city cleared an easy path for them as they walked to Jorrvaskr.
They lay Skjor’s body down in the courtyard outside Jorrvaskr. It was hidden from the prying eyes of Whiterun citizens.
Athis had already gone inside to call out the others, but Aela and Ariella didn’t move from Skjor’s body. Both of them dropping to their knees in exhaustion; both physical and mental.
When the companions slowly filtered out of Jorrvaskr they were silent, Aela was unmoving so Ariella rose to her feet to explain.
“What happened?” Vilkas said, moving over to Ariella but his eyes were trained on Skjor’s lifeless body.
Ariella didn’t really know what to say, clearly they weren’t supposed to be doing what they were doing and she didn’t want them to get angry.
“We found a fort of Silver-Hand…” Aela said, voice breaking.
“A what?”
“We thought we could take them out, but they got the better of us.” Ariella explained. “Skjor went ahead and we… we couldn’t get to him in time.”
“How could you let him go without a shield sister or brother?” Vilkas’ voice was raised, “Aela I expected better of you, you know how dangerous the Silver-Hand can be!”
He was angry, understandably but it wasn’t needed at a time like this. Aela flinched at the words but didn’t look at him.
“Brother, perhaps we should go inside, tell Kodlak.” Farkas said directing his brother towards Jorrvaskr and away from the body.
The whelps that had gathered were weeping silently and Ariella looked around. Surely the Companions had some kind of burial practice, warriors died all the time.
“H-how are Companion’s buried?” Ariella asked, voice shaking. There was a long silence, as everyone refused to answer. An answer would be finality, Skjor would truly be gone; in many ways a funeral was far more heart breaking than the death itself.
“Speak to Eorlund or Vignar…” Athis whispered, hiding his face. His voice betrayed him and despite his attempts to hide it Ariella knew Athis was crying. She rested a gentle hand on his shoulder for a moment before climbing up to the Skyforge.
