Happy Holidays, fellow Kinkmemers! I have returned and have no reasonable excuse for my absence except LIFE. I will be working on updating the archives. If anyone sees anything amiss, please let me know.
I am also hoping to find another Mod and an Archivist.
The more dedicated people we have in this Meme the less chance of it dying. I admit that being the sole keeper of the Meme is not great for the fandom. If something were to happen to me, for good, this place would go the way of the Fallout Kink Meme. Let's not let that happen! If anyone would be interested in Modding/Archiving, please drop me a line. Thanks! <3
Sleepless - Part 71/?

“No it’s not.”
“It is.”
“Well I know one person who would never blame you. Skjor.” Aela looked at Ariella and sighed. “One day you’ll see him again.”
“What if I don’t?”
“You don’t plan on having the same afterlife?”
“What if I change my mind? He’ll probably be expecting to see me… but what if I never come?”
“Then you forge your own path. A path that lets you enjoy your own after life, that may even lead to you seeing Skjor in one way.” Travel between the afterlives was something that was debated quite often. Some believed that one could travel freely between worlds if they wished, others thought you were bound to one forever, some even doubted the existence of afterlives. The details were always up for debate; no one had ever crossed over to the next world and come back again.
“If such a path is possible.”
“You’ll have an eternity, you can find a way.”
“He’ll probably be disappointed if I join him…” Aela looked at her hands, as if there was something wrong with them. “Perhaps I’m bound to be like this forever.”
“Aela, nothing you do could disappoint Skjor. He just wanted you to be happy.”
“How do you know?”
“He told me.” Aela’s eyes widened at Ariella’s words. “Nothing you do can be wrong by him, so long as you’re happy in the end. Whether what you choose involves him or not.”
“Are you sure?”
“He told me himself, so I’m positive.” The huntress smiled at the scholar.
“Thank you, Ariella. Would you mind staying, I don’t want to be alone right now…” The Breton nodded and settled down in the bed, which seemed to soothe the Nord a bit.
As soon as the lights were out Aela was crying. Ariella offered her comfort until she fell asleep. Ariella didn’t mind Aela’s crying though, she was filled with grief and in truth, she was crying too.

Ariella was awake early in the morning, much earlier than Aela or what seemed like any of the other Companions. She got out of bed and walked to the whelp room picking up the journal Skjor and Kodlak had given to her when she became a companion. She got the ink and quill she had also received and returned to Aela’s room.
Ariella sat on the floor and opened the journal to the first page.

Ariella smiled sadly at the small message Skjor had written in the front. She had yet to write in it but she knew exactly what her first entry would be about.
She dipped her quill in the ink and began to write about Skjor, so his memory would not be forgotten.
