ANNOUNCEMENTS: UPDATED 12/16/2017

Happy Holidays, fellow Kinkmemers! I have returned and have no reasonable excuse for my absence except LIFE. I will be working on updating the archives. If anyone sees anything amiss, please let me know.

I am also hoping to find another Mod and an Archivist.

The more dedicated people we have in this Meme the less chance of it dying. I admit that being the sole keeper of the Meme is not great for the fandom. If something were to happen to me, for good, this place would go the way of the Fallout Kink Meme. Let's not let that happen! If anyone would be interested in Modding/Archiving, please drop me a line. Thanks! <3

Sleepless - Part 85/?

The transformation was much more violent than Ariella would have liked to believe it was. It sounds vicious, a real struggle. She supposed that was one of the reasons why Vilkas didn’t want to tell her about it.

When the transformation finished Vilkas’ head was pounding. He closed his eyes for a moment and then took in his surroundings. Stone surrounded him and the air was still, ancient.

He glanced over his shoulder and saw Ariella standing there, staring. He suddenly felt shy about his nakedness. He felt the need to shield himself from her and that’s what he did.

Ariella shook herself at Vilkas’ awkward embarrassment. She collected his armour and the spare underclothes Vilkas kept in his bag. She looked over at him and bit her lip at the sight. It was nothing she hadn’t seen before but somehow this was different. She gave him the armour and turned around to let him dress.

The silence that was between them was deafening. Ariella repacked their things and soon Vilkas was finished.

He didn’t say a word and wouldn’t look at her. Ariella silently went about solving the puzzles left by the akavir.

“You knew…” Vilkas stated, his voice soft and unsure.

“Yes.” She said cursing herself. Perhaps it had been a mistake to tell him. She should have just waited for him to be ready.

Silence settled again and they made their way through. Ariella led Vilkas through traps and disarmed them as she went. He still avoided her gaze and her touch, keeping a few feet away from her at all times.

Eventually they came to a large room. There was a face on the wall at the other end of the room, a few pillars with fire pits and a large chest in the centre of the room.

“Is this it?” Vilkas asked and Ariella shrugged.

“Perhaps it is, I don’t know.” Vilkas walked over to the walls and began feeling underneath the moss. The room was open to the elements, the sun was shining in; well the setting sun was shining. There would only be daylight for only a few more hours. The way this room was exposed meant there was a lot of greenery growing throughout it. No adventures may have been here to destroy the wall but nature certainly was present.

Ariella looked around the room; it wasn’t common for temples to be open like this. She walked over to the large face against the wall, running her hands along it to look for a switch or anything.

“How long have you known for?” Vilkas asked

“I suspected for a while, but they were… confirmed after my testing.” Vilkas nodded; that had been before they’d started even gotten romantically involved. He glanced over at her, she was busy looking at the walls.

“That long?” She hummed in agreement. For months she had known and never said anything and even more months when she had just suspected. “It doesn’t bother you?”

“The only thing about it that bothers me, is the fact that it bothers you.” She said simply. She walked away from the wall, feet shuffling along the mossy ground, kicking the greenery out of the way as she walked.

“What do you mean?”

“You all hide it, you circle members but you’re the most ashamed by it. That’s the only issue I have and I want you to be free from that burden.” Her reply was nonchalant as if the answer was something that should have been obvious.

He abandoned the wall he was searching and walked over to her. He wrapped his hands around her from behind, burying his face into her hair. She turned in his arms and stood on the tips of her toes to kiss him. He savoured the moment of bliss, which was over soon.

She stood back and smiled at him. She kicked cleared an area of the ground from the plants that had rooted themselves which revealed a sort of carving on the floor.

“Are you ready for some magic?” She asked, a small smile on her lips. Vilkas walked over close and watched her. She unsheathed her sword and looked at him. “Let’s hope this works right?”

Vilkas had no idea what she was talking about but nodded. She sliced the sword across her palm and pressed it into the middle of the floor carvings. They lit up, the magic of the blood spreading. Vilkas didn’t think such a thing existed, he head stone move and the face moved revealing a set of stairs. Sky Haven Temple.

Delicious, I could imagine the face of Vilkas as he continued to ask questions to Ariella, so shy and a bit stunned! She is a rock bottom! I am involved! Continue!

I can just picture them both, just pressing forward through the temple almost silently, both spinning in their thoughts and doubts. Thanks for the update, this story continues to be amazing.
