ANNOUNCEMENTS: UPDATED 12/16/2017
Happy Holidays, fellow Kinkmemers! I have returned and have no reasonable excuse for my absence except LIFE. I will be working on updating the archives. If anyone sees anything amiss, please let me know.
I am also hoping to find another Mod and an Archivist.
The more dedicated people we have in this Meme the less chance of it dying. I admit that being the sole keeper of the Meme is not great for the fandom. If something were to happen to me, for good, this place would go the way of the Fallout Kink Meme. Let's not let that happen! If anyone would be interested in Modding/Archiving, please drop me a line. Thanks! <3
Sleepless - Part 113/115
Date: 2014-04-26 02:56 pm (UTC)There had been some complications with their payment to the butcher and as Ariella tried to work it out the door opened. She expected Aela, the Huntress was the only one who really came anywhere near the Harbinger’s room. Most of the other Companions stayed away.
Ariella had done that as well initially but she considered the room to be the safest.
When she looked up from the bill she had been fussing over she froze when she saw Vilkas. She swallowed nervously looking at him.
She had tried talking to him and had basically just given up now. He was angry and he had to work through those issues on his own. Her presence only set him back, not helped him.
Ariella could smell the mead on him. Apparently today had not been a training day.
“I thought I’d find you in here.” He half slurred out. Ariella faced him, not sure what to expect. It was maybe the first time in over a week that she’d seen him, it had been even longer since they’d spoken. Looking at him Ariella realised how pathetically lonely she’d been feeling.
“Can I help you, Vilkas?” She asked, desperate for him to apologise or finally accept the apology she had given a thousand times before.
“You could remove yourself from my sights, better yet, leave Skyrim. You don’t belong here, half-elf.” Ariella looked at her hands in her lap, cheeks stinging. “Cowardly, I don’t even know what I saw in you.” He leaned on the doorframe, unwilling to cross the threshold into Kodlak’s room. “I wish I could say I was lured in by a pretty face or a nice set of tits but I don’t think anyone’s tastes are that low, especially m-”
His words were cut short and Ariella looked up nervously to see Farkas gripping his brother’s arm. Vilkas looked like he was ready to fight him, his own brother. As Farkas dragged his mostly drunk brother away Vilkas threw strings of insults; about Ariella, Farkas and even Aela.
Ariella pushed out from her chair and left the room. She dragged her feet towards the whelp quarters. Once there she sat on her cold, lonely bed and didn’t move.
Aela eventually came to find her and attempted to offer some comfort but it was no use. Right now there was only one person Ariella wanted any sort of comfort from and he wasn’t here.
