ANNOUNCEMENTS: UPDATED 12/16/2017

Happy Holidays, fellow Kinkmemers! I have returned and have no reasonable excuse for my absence except LIFE. I will be working on updating the archives. If anyone sees anything amiss, please let me know.

I am also hoping to find another Mod and an Archivist.

The more dedicated people we have in this Meme the less chance of it dying. I admit that being the sole keeper of the Meme is not great for the fandom. If something were to happen to me, for good, this place would go the way of the Fallout Kink Meme. Let's not let that happen! If anyone would be interested in Modding/Archiving, please drop me a line. Thanks! <3

Dawning - Part 10/?

Vilkas knew exactly how the conversation would go the minute Farkas pulled him into the Underforge. It had been written all over Aela’s face at dinner the night before and Vilkas had already come to terms with the reality.

“Vilkas,” Farkas began, unsure of how to continue. Vilkas knew why, it was because Farkas was unsure of how he would react. The larger twin was normally so good at reading people, yet Vilkas’ behaviour, his own brother’s behaviour had been completely alien to him in these past months.

In truth, Vilkas wasn’t sure how he’d react. He claimed to have come to peace with it all but he hadn’t actually heard someone say the words aloud yet. The wolf might have been able to put on a tough face through all its anger but the man was not be able to.

“Vilkas.” Farkas said once more with a lot more certainty. “Ariella is dead.”

The blunt statement felt harsh even to Farkas’ ears. Vilkas almost lost his composure at the suddenness of it; he felt a pain in his chest. “She left High Hrothgar gravely wounded and no one can find her. It’s time we accept she has gone and help her pass on to the next life.” Farkas had intended to be gentle and ease Vilkas into all of the information but he suddenly became factual, as if he didn’t trust Vilkas to understand if he tried to be gentle.

“I see…” They were all the words Vilkas could muster, the wolf quickly taking control where the man faltered; he shouldn’t feel anything for her, he didn’t deserve this heartache.

The wolf growled, she had abandoned him, leaving him here alone. His mate had left him and then went off to greet death willingly. She was a fool.

And yet despite the wolf’s anger the man felt his heart physically hurt. “Vilkas, understand. She. Is. Dead.” Farkas said, gripping him by the shoulders, shaking him lightly at each punctuated word.

Every word Farkas said made Vilkas’ chest hurt; his throat began to tighten and his eyes stung. Farkas went to open his mouth again, probably to repeat the same vile words, and Vilkas shoved him back.

Vilkas shouted something and then turned away from his startled, and frightened brother; he was not sure what he had said only seconds after he yelled it. Vilkas gave in fully to the wolf and let it carry him across the plains of Whiterun away from reality.

So one or two days ended up being about four. Sorry about that…
I also just want to let you know this is sorta Vilkas' story; dealing with the wolf, his guilt etc. Obviously some parts will be told by other characters but primarily Vilkas :)
(at least that's the current plan for how it's being told)

Poor guy ... after a news so painful ... management the pain should be impossible .. the man is weak against the beast ... he has a broken heart! the inner struggle of Vilkas is very intense! I'm rooting for the man!
