ANNOUNCEMENTS: UPDATED 12/16/2017

Happy Holidays, fellow Kinkmemers! I have returned and have no reasonable excuse for my absence except LIFE. I will be working on updating the archives. If anyone sees anything amiss, please let me know.

I am also hoping to find another Mod and an Archivist.

The more dedicated people we have in this Meme the less chance of it dying. I admit that being the sole keeper of the Meme is not great for the fandom. If something were to happen to me, for good, this place would go the way of the Fallout Kink Meme. Let's not let that happen! If anyone would be interested in Modding/Archiving, please drop me a line. Thanks! <3

Dawning - Part 18/?

Life returned to normal as it always did after the mourning period was over. Vilkas worked, taking whatever jobs he could find. Ria insisted upon joining him at the beginning but after he turned her away over and over she eventually stopped asking.

Days and nights spent at Jorrvaskr were spent either training or with drink. No one said anything about it because it was the same as it had been before.

The mead hall eventually came back to life. Stories were passed between members and joy echoed through the walls once again. New members knew nothing of the hardships the Companions had faced in the past year. They heard the stories but they didn’t know.

They had gained four new recruits, four that stayed at least. A Nord named Erik from Rorikstead; the boy was young and had pure intentions but was still in desperate need of training. There was a Bosmer called Gwen, she was skilled even if her curiosity with poisons unsettled some of the Nords. The last two new members called themselves brothers, though it was obvious they weren’t brothers by blood. They were had arrived from Cyrodiil; Adrian, a high elf with an affinity for greatswords and Dulok, an Orc who spoke simply yet his strength with a warhammer was unmatched.

The new whelps settled in as fast as warriors lived their lives, quickly. They picked up on who was in charge, who was the best to get jobs from and who was best to avoid and on which days.

The whelps loved Farkas and Athis. They knew to avoid Aela when the paper work was piling or if she had been at Jorrvaskr for an extended period of time. Not a single one of them approached Vilkas for jobs.

Life had its up and down as time went on. People entered and left their lives. Over a year went past, nothing was the same but nothing changed in those days.

There were some surprised along the way and for Vilkas most days blended into one; not much excitement happened in his life. Transformations for him became a weekly occurrence, at times even more frequent.

It was around that time that Farkas began to worry.

It wasn't until then that Farkas started to worry? Maybe he really is an ice-brain, the rest of us have been worried since before Sleepless ended. ;)

I'm so glad this story isn't over. Thank you for continuing.
