F!DB/Teldryn Sero "Fooled Around" 1a/??
Date: 2016-01-23 03:21 am (UTC)“Well, whenever you’re ready to head back I’d be more than willing to go with you,” Teldryn muttered darkly as he pulled his helmet off rubbing the dust from the eye guards.
The young Nord Dragonborn turned and smiled brightly at the Elf, “really? That’s fantastic. You are by far the most helpful companion I’ve had. I love Lydia– she’s my housecarl, but she kept getting in the way of my arrows. I can show you my home in Whiterun, and maybe take you to where I grew up in Rorikstead.”
“You don’t have to convince me. I’ve enjoyed our travels together so far.”
“Me too,” Alvy said with a small smile from her spot next to the fire. “We’ll leave once we get back to Raven Rock. I’m about done here, and Neloth needs me to retrieve a Briarheart for him anyway. I’m tired though, so we’ll head out in the morning.”
Teldryn stood, arching his back in a stretch with a quiet, languid sounding groan, “if that is the case I need to wash. I’ll be over by the water if you need me.”
Alvy nodded her head quickly, and felt her face get hot. She reached over for her pack busying herself with the straps seemingly just to give herself something to do as Teldryn arched an inquiring eyebrow, before heading off to the shore. The young girl bit down on her bottom lip, and tried very hard not to look – she really did! But she found her light brown eyes flickering towards the water spotting her Dunmer companion shucking his Chitin armor to the ground. He was much too far away to make any details, and Alvy didn’t look long enough, but seeing the expanse of his strong back, and his hands going to the waist of his thick leather pants was too much for her.
And when Teldryn turned his head, Alvy gasped and turned back around in her seat feeling like her entire body was on fire in embarrassment.
Oh, Mara! She covered her face with her hands and chastised herself for being so inappropriate. How unprofessional! With a deep breath she finally collected herself and went back to fiddling with the belongings in her pack, before setting up a bedroll for herself, and then one for Teldryn. She heard his footsteps by the time she had snuggled into her bed for the night, and couldn’t help her eyes widening when she spotted him shirtless.
What? Why?
Alvy let out a sound not unlike that of a cat when you touch it unawares, and sank lower into her bedroll peering at the Dunmer being illuminated by the fire.
Divines, he was handsome. She’d been surprised by this when he first took off his helmet, his face was sculpted, and weathered like most Dunmer, with sharp angles, and a worldly look that clearly showed how long he had been around. Alvy hadn’t really felt the fluttering in her stomach that she felt around Teldryn, she’d never thought anyone as attractive as she thought he was.
