Date: 2013-10-16 12:06 pm (UTC)It reminds me of something Stephen King wrote in his book On Writing. I have a terrible memory, so don't quote me on this, but he said something along the lines of keeping a story simple, so that it flows, and to express what the characters are doing by actions instead of just telling the reader, this happened, that happened, etc. You're doing all those things and more!
