Stormfire

Skye shifted in her perch and dusted off the tight gray dress. The bodice was slightly uncomfortable as was to be expected and the bottom half hung loosely in flickering shades of muted gray. She ran a hand through her blonde hair and fliched her eyes around the room. Honestly she expected the Thalmor to try harder to take back Skyrim, and everything had been far too quiet lately and here she was at a party.

As she glanced over to the other side of the room she felt the hairs on the back of her neck rise and her heartbeat accelerated. Someone was watching her, she glanced about the room and couldn't see any possible candidates. “You know Dragonborn, you should have looked behind first.” someone purred from behind her and she went stiff, the way they said Dragonborn... The deep voice was familiar, but she didn't think she associated with anyone stupid enough to sneak up her. Turning to spit out a sharp retort she blinked, they were gone. The feeling however, persisted.

Throughout the night she noticed small brushes and touches and each time as she turned toward them the culprit was gone. She finally decided that it would be best if she stood by someone she trusted, hopefully they could catch who she did not. Turning she glanced around the room searching for him.

She frowned as she couldn't locate Jarl Ulfric but she went for the next best thing, she moved to stand by Galmar. The grouchy Nord was not the nicest of people but Skye had enough respect for him that she considered him more than an acquaintance. Of course he was incredibly drunk and was in no real position to help her. However, even drunk, especially drunk he was an imposing man and would hopefully act as deterrent. She smirked as it worked, this time she heard the unlucky prospector approaching behind and she spun around with a mischievous glare. She nearly jumped a foot when she came face to face with her Jarl, Ulfric. “Skye.” he greeted warmly a flicker of amusement crossing his features.

“M-my Jarl.” she stuttered cursing herself for presuming that any man approaching her would be the culprit.

“I hope the evening is treating you well.” he rumbled and Skye privately imagined listening to him speak all day.

“Yes it is, besides my normal friends of course.” she said with a small smile. He laughed as she referred to her clumsiness, or more precisely the bruises she often gathered from bumping into things. “I hope you have not run into any walls lately?” he asked with a grin, and she felt her cheeks go red at the reference to her last visit. It hadn't helped that she had been looking right at him when it happened. She rolled her eyes at him and turned to watch the guests mill around and generally get drunk.

The feeling returned not long after but every time she glanced up she found only Ulfric looking at her. But the feeling itself had intensified and she felt trickles of fear directed toward the watcher and what they might be capable of. As the night came to a close she frowned, if Ulfric seemed to be the only one watching her then… She swallowed recalling the husky voice that had murmured in her ear, yes it could be him. She smirked, and figured she had won her victory, how wrong she was.

Moving over to confront him she suddenly lost her courage and ended up veering to the side corridor off the war room at the last moment. “Something wrong Dragonborn.” he growled in her ear and she jumped electrifying jolts shooting down her spine. She turned and the look he was giving her reminded her of a starving wolf staring at a juicy rabbit. “N-no my j-jarl, should there be anything wrong?” she asked quickly. At this point the look was setting her insides afire and she had to admit that the feeling was not unwelcome.

He smirked as if he had just backed her into a corner and Skye realized that in many ways he had. He moved suddenly, pressing her against the wall and she gasped feeling the heat from his chest through the tight bodice. “As far as I know, everything is where it needs to be. I look forward to seeing you again.” he grinned and then his voice dropped into the purr she had heard earlier “Skye.”

Haha I thought that was brilliant, wanting to stick close to the guy who's actually stalking her! And it made me wonder, is Galmar aware of Ulfric's 'game'?

An interesting start, OP is intrigued to see where you'll take it A!A!

Standing in the war room she watched as Ulfric towered over a pair of soldiers who had abandoned thier posts. Ulfric’s jaw set, a muscle twitching at the corner. He was as big and as broad and as darkly handsome as Skye remembered as she twitched as a low growl escaped his lips. Longish dirty blonde hair framing a starkly attractive face. Blue eyes practically burned through the deserters and Skye imagined she could she tendrils of smoke on thier uniforms.  And, Talos, the way he moved, advancing slowly but steadily on them with the weight of intent behind each step, as implacable and unreadable as the stone that enclosed the room.

The soldiers’ legs began to tremble. Skye grinned as she imagined thier hearts flinching like thier faces.
“You are the deserters.” Ulfric demanded but he was not asking. His voice was…terrifying. Commanding, to, in equal measure, Skye almost flinched herself when she heard his boots halt on the gray floor. He stopped several paces away from the men, giving them the illusion of safety. But Skye realized that they where hardly safe. She glanced swiftly to Galmar, the empire sentenced thier deserters to life imprisonment but on the other hand Nords normally did things in... excess. He shrugged as if this was completely normal and Skye had to hand it to him and his indiffrent face, she might be a Nord but damn she wasn't just scared of Ulfric, he was terrifying in a way she normally reserved for dragons. She privatly thought that he could very well have faces Alduin and shamed the god with thr strength of his being.

Skye barely processed the sickening sound of Ulfric's sword tearing through the two men. She watched with a horified but still awe filled gaze as the man cleaned his sword with a perfectly blank face and walked out of the room his movements no less purposeful than they had been earlier and something in Skye gravitated toward that. Swallowing she asked Galmar in a whisper "Is this...normal for him?"
Galmar laughed, a grin spreading over his gruff face but it was good natured and some of the tension in her stomach cleared. "Dragonborn, for him this is perfectly normal, in fact he may have gone easy on them because it was in front of you. Simply put, he wanted to kill them so he did." Skye felt the tension return, Talos help anyone who displeased Ulfric."Does the Jarl always get what he wants then?" She asked unsure if she truly wanted to know the answer.

Galmar grinned and Skye was no longer sure she found him comforting as one would feel about a big brother "Oh Dragonborn, you better belive he does and never stand in between him and what he wants, he would and is fully capable of brushing you aside."
...

Skye let out a breath at the memory, sure she had moved on slightly from her fear enough to feel that Ulfric would not "brush her aside" that he would protect her but she had always assumed that he thought of her as a little sister, how very wrong she had been.

Now the blue eyed girl wished she could hide and never have to stand in the same room as him and feel those tinges of energy that twisted in her core. But a darker side of her wanted more, wanted to feel those tinges turn to bolts that woud burn through her hotter than any dragon's fire. Skye swallowed and knew that she truly had no choice, if Ulfric wanted to hunt her then all she could do was hope he would strike the killing blow quickly and maybe just maybe she was looking forward to this game, the thrill of the hunt, or more precisely, being hunted. To lead him on a chase and watch him loose control, even if a small part of her questioned what would happen when he caught her, not if but when.

When morning came Skye raised her head to a loud knock on her door. Drousily she walked barefoot to the door her night clothes clinging to a skinny frame despite her wide shoulders and hips. Opening the heavy door she came had to tilt her head up to meet Galmar's gaze. The man grinned at her running his eyes down her body but having felt with the looks from Ulfric the other night Skye was not impressed and she merely crossed her arms and raised a brow at him in clear challenge, Ulfric might scare her but Galmar was secretly a big teddy bear. The man even tried to look hurt at her fearless facade.

She rolled her eyes with a small smile and he straightened and her smile faded, Galmar, always ready to do business. "Dragonborn, as you are aware, as a Nord, hunting is a very central part to our nature and customs." He started and mentally Skye felt a resounding uh-oh burn through her mind. "Most formal events are both preceded and followed by a hunt or competition, in this case a competition of survival." He finished and Skye frowned wanting to refuse, as she had no idea what that might mean, but she needed to ask something first.

"Who's inviting me?"

"The Jarl of course."She nodded her consent and moved to close the door but Galmar stopped her "It starts tonight, many times the hunt lasts over a few nights, prepare accordingly." He said and she couldn't help but feel that there was a hidden message in there, however Galmar had never been one for subtly. Skye glanced out the window, it was already noon and in winter months the Sun set early which ment she didn't have much time to get ready. If she was lucky nothing out of the ordinary would occur, then again what exexactly was normal with Ulfric?

Grabbing her thin elven sword that was unnaturally light after she slid into a pair of pants and a loose white shirt she strapped it to her hip with a thick cord of leather that thing from one hip down to he side. Frowning she realized she had never really thought about what she took on her travels, when she needed water she found it or melted snow, food Skye could hunt for, shelter was the trees. For good measure she slipped a dagger into her boot and slung her hunting bow over her head.
Walking out into the center of the city she scanned her eyes over the dull gray stone and moved out of the city heading to the stables. The group was small and she instantly felt eyes on her as she walked up. Ulfric gave her a feral grin and Galmar chuckled at at the stricken look that crossed her face. She swore silently inside her head, she did not want Ulfric to realize how trapped she felt.

"Well Dragonborn, the suns almost set, you should learn to be more punctual about your time." Ulfric informed her a hint of displeasure in his voice and the way he looked at her demanded a reply. Skye chose her words carefully and she answered shifting her eyes respectfully to the side "I shall make sure to do better in the future, my Jarl."
Ulfric grinned shifting his imposing figure slightly so that he was not towering over her anymore "Indeed you will." He said lowly and Skye felt her heart flutter uncontrollably in her chest at the dark promise that lurked behind his words. "What's the goal?" One of the men asked and Skye scolded herself once more, surely he would not do anything with so many people as witness. She wasn't prepared, she needed a plan to do this.

"Well," Galmar said his voice sounding slightly inebriated and Skye rolled her eyes as he wobbled on his feet trying to forget phantom touches and a deep voice, "We will be hunting in pairs so it is up to each pair to survive in the below zero wilderness for a week with no interaction with any other people." Skye blinked, a few nights to Galmar was a WEEK. She nearly groaned, it would of course be her luck to have to spend it alone, with Ulfric. Galmar was assigning partners, he was with Ralof, and finally there was only Ulfric and herself left. Damn Damn Damn, she chanted in her head. Galmar said the words, pairing her with Ulfric and her heart skipped a beat and there they where again, the thrilling jolts that shot through her. Maybe this wasnt so bad.

"So dragonborn, think you can last a week?" Ulfric said as they moved through the woods with Ulfric in the lead, naturally as he would never let anyone lead him. To Skye it wasn't much of a question of could she last a week herhere in the wilderness, but could she last a week with him.

"I think I can handle anything that's thrown at me including you." Skye said and part of her shrank at the words while the other, larger part, was intent on focusing on Ulfrics body, the way he moved, the roughness of his voice, the predatory glint in his eyes and her mind began to wonder what might be under his clothes.  What was it she had thought earlier, oh yes, Nords  tend to do things in excess

Ulfric growled lowly and fixed her with a hard glare, stopping then moving forward to stand before her and Skye felt a sharp stab of fear that left her dizzy, and slightly aroused. "Are you being cheeky with me dragonborn." Skye felt dizzy and for a second her breath caught in her throat, but Ulfric didn't ask questions, that she had figured out.

"Perhaps I am, what are you going to do about it." She breathed and the smoldering look on his face sent whole new level of the jolts through her and a small noise almost escaped her lips but she bit down on her lip to keep from letting it out, there was no reason to let Ulfric know how very much she was enjoying this.

"As I recall dragonborn, your usefulness only goes as far as killing Alduin, which you against all odds have done. So really, you might need to ask forgiveness. Now." Ulfric said coldly his eyes filling with a dangerous light and his pupils seemed to have expanded slightly giving his eyes a stormy color. She couldn't help the shiver that wracked her body at the way he said need, not want, need. To Oblivion with plans and caution, she needed that tone, she was tired of the way people bowed to her, practically worshiped her, this, this was the opposite and it made her quiver just thinking about it.

"Make me." She said not hiding the challenge.

The look on his face nearly made her run, oh fuck, oh fuuuck. She silently chanted in her head, where had her reasonable, her responsible, thoughts gone. "You are walking on dangerous ice dragonborn." He snarled, his voice had dropped so deep she felt like it was vibrating her whole body. She was so dazzled from just his voice that she barely processed his words and she merely looked at him and began whispering "I'm so sorry, very sorry, please don't be mad at me, I was being stupid, very stupid." The words where foreign on her tongue but oh they felt good to say, it felt good to submit.

Ulfric smirked and grabbed a fist full of her hair and with a single shove of his body left no room to doubt where this was going. "You are a stupid girl do you know that, you're lucky I don't need you to be smart. But you'd better remember this," he paused slamming her against one of the trees, her back arching against the pain "don't ever talk back to me, do you understand?"

Skye's lips moved quickly to answer "Yes-" Ulfric snarled again and sunk his teeth through the white shirt she was wearing, not pulling away until.blood soaked through, "I didn't give you permission to speak did I." Skye shook her head but the very act unbalanced her more and she really was clumsy enough as it was. She stumbled to the side only to feel Ulfric place his weight on her to keep her up and oh. He really was enjoying this, feeling his manhood up against her made a loud gasp escape her lips.

She felt the curve of a smile against her neck and couldn't help but move her hips to rub against his groin. He growled and moved his hands to pull her down to the ground his teeth scrapping over her neck and his grip bruising.

Before she coukd even process it she was on her knees and Ulfric was purring in his chocolate-over-gravel voice something about undoing his pants. The tingles of excitement made her head dizzy and her eyes glaze over slightly as they made her toes curl and her fingers itch. She worked her quick fingers through the laces of his pants until she was able to grasp... Nords they defiantly like to have things in excess she thought a dark blush burning her cheeks.

First, OP is very sorry for not leaving any replies to your wonderful posts A!A! Life knocked me down big time and I've been struggling to get back on my feet.

But here I am and I really enjoyed what you've written so far! I love your very dominant, somewhat short tempered Ulfric and Galmar the big brother hmmm! I also think it's very likely that the DB grows tired of everyone bowing down to her and enjoys finally having someone who won't bow down to her.

Great job! Please continue the story!
