I really did just want to see if I should hold out on updating for awhile, my personal life is getting hectic and finals are next week. So please please please please please please please forgive me for being so rude...

Anon Thank you for all of your hard work. I have read and enjoyed all of your stuff. However, I didn't see this one until it popped up on delicious.

In the part of this meme where the rules are discussed it says rightly so that the replies are encouraged. As anons we want to know folks are enjoying our fills. It takes time to plan and write out this stuff as you all know.

I have done about four fills now and two have gotten a few comments. Some of mine haven't gotten any response. And no I'm not going to list any of mine.For me it's more about wondering if anyone is even reading them.

I work two jobs and often work on my fills here as relaxing activity. Still I like to know that i'm entertaining someone.

Just for that reason I make a point of replying to every fill I read. All the wonderful authors who write for us deserve replies. What does it cost us to say we're enjoying the fills?

So my point is directed at anons who discourage authors. I wish you guys would stop discouraging the anons who take the time to write for us with well unfriendly comments.

Some of us are enjoying these fills and don't want anyone upsetting the author to the point they want to stop. That's just not fair to to rest of us who are really enjoying them.

I was hardly telling her to stop. She left a comment saying "Uhmmmmm, Hello...??" which came off as /whiny/ and wanting attention to her fic with no comments. Because tone NEVER reads on the Internet no matter what you actually intended it to sound like. She's apologized and she wants what a lot of authors on here want which is just someone telling her if she's doing good which is fair but she worded her initial comment badly and it came off as attention seeking. And who actually replies to people who demand comments on their fics?

No one is discouraging her other than the person who posted a "no" so blatanly above and tbh, who cares about someone's troll comment? I was merely telling her that if she wants comments, don't expect them to come rolling in on the Kink Meme especially this one where it seems hardly anyone comes to. Getting one comment is a miracle sometimes. It's just the way things go. If you want comments crosspost to the Fanfiction sites or tumblr and promote yourself. Otherwise expect disappointment because some things on here which don't deserve it get a ton of comments and others that are great go ignored for months.

And she said she isn't, she apologized (which she really didn't have to) and is being really good about it. I don't see where this upsetting authors thing you mentioned is. She never said she was going to leave just because I told her not to expect something on a Kink Meme which is said on every kink meme in the directory.

Like this should actually be a message to all writers on here. Yeah, replies are encouraged. Doesn't mean you're going to get them. It sucks.

Anon there is no need to apologize! Or be embarrassed! You're doing just fine. I hope you update soon. Please don't stop updating. I can only speak for myself and say I like what you are writing here. As for the rest of us well you catch more flies with honey than vinegar. Lets encourage each other ok.

I'm not leaving or stopping, I have finals to study for, reports to write, and a project to finish, the next part will, hopefully, be up by NEXT Friday, at the latest.
