Bard's College Audition

From his resting place in the high peaks of the North, Odahviing heard his own name called in need, and stirred. The Dovahkiin summoned, and Odahviing came. As was their pact.

Odahviing, the snow-winged hunter, wheeled low over the plains of the Rift, watching the ground change from snowy forest to the dry red-brown of tundra. His Dovahkiin, the human with the Voice of thunder, called his name again.

In irritation, Odahviing sighed inwardly. Patience, Dovahkiin, he thought. Your Dovah comes.

He banked, turned, dipped, scanning for the small figure of the mortal who had bound him in their strange friendship. The shout had echoed as though against rock, and sure enough, there was the human with his back against a rocky outcrop. His tawny fur armor made him hard to spot against the brown and gold landscape of the tundra, but now Odahviing saw him, amber-eyed and olive skinned, black hair shining in the early sun. His breath puffed quickly into the clear dawn air, and he was sweating, a hand clutched to bloodied ribs; but no enemy was to be seen.

Odahviing saw the human draw a breath to Shout for him again, and landed in front of him.

"I am here, Dovahkiin," he said. "Why have you summoned me?"

The Dovahkiin cast his gaze west, and Odahviing followed his eyes. Then he caught the glimmer of sun on scales and saw a little bronze-scaled dragon, circling in the air a mile away.

The other dragon was young, barely a year old, still growing. The smaller creature saw Odahviing and at once began to show off. He rolled in the air, displaying the shining pale green scales of his underbelly; then he swooped and lit a tall pine on fire in a display of prowess. He screeched, a high-pitched sound from his barely developed Voice. Odahviing's deep rumble of a laugh sounded in disbelief.

He walked to his mortal on the points of his wings.

"Dovahkiin! You called me for that - a little one, the size of your horse? What has happened to you?" he said, flicking out his tongue to smell-taste the mortal's copper tinged blood.

"He caught me sleeping," said the mortal, eyes narrowing in annoyance. Shivering and still holding his ribs he muttered a phrase that caused his palm to glow red, and groaned in pain as his flesh and bones knitted under his own fingers.

"I will bring him to the ground," Odahviing promised. "I will slice his belly like a gutted fish, and you shall consume his soul." He draped a protective wing over his Dovahkiin. "And then I will roast the mudcrabs in the lake for you, lest they overwhelm you in your travels."

"I didn't call you to kill him," said the Dovahkiin, flicking blood off his hands and wiping them on his fur trousers. His shirt was ruined, and he stripped it off, his bare brown chest still sticky with sweat and blood. Across his ribs where the wound had been, there was now a delicate line of new, pink skin. "He's a hatchling, yes?"

Coming from a primarily winter country I find Skyrim to be beautiful but also frustrating without mods (Frostfall..). Like there's no way with the wind combined with snow doesn't make huge snowdrifts and treacherous conditions and when the snow does build up like that, you don't go out.

So snowbound Dragonborn with lover or NPCs with nothing to do until the storm passes except obviously nail each other. Anything goes but no scat or watersports please.

I have another prompt I promised I'd fill, so I probably should finish that one first, but I want to do this one, too, when I have time (it'll be a while, though).

Just to double check, can it be absolutely any two characters? That is to say, can they be two NPCs who are not canonically in a relationship? I'd kind of like to fill this with Vilkas and Ria, just because I like them and think this prompt would work well with two Companions out on a job, but if you'd rather I not use them, I can write other characters.

Hunters in the Hot Springs

So I have a number of mods installed, one of which allows your followers to relax when you don't need them.

On using this with Cicero, he toddled off and ended up curling up in the housecarl quarters of Proudspire Manor, fast asleep... but the voice scripting didn't recognise this and he kept right on babbling while sleeping.

It's now my headcanon. So please, anons. Please write me any kind of scenario in which Cicero talks in his sleep and his poor Listener/fellow DB members/any NPC who could plausibly be involved get to hear Cicero's innermost thoughts broadcast to the world while he's asleep. For the purposes of this prompt, let us assume the Listener can have several followers if need be.

Can be crack, can be smut, can be anything you like, but if Cicero gets laid as a result of his insomniac ramblings, I'm OK with that. While Hulda, the owner of the Bannered Mare, was agreeable to sell, Ysolda was still unable to get the Khajiit to fully commit to selling with her. She lacked a mammoth tusk to seal the deal. There was a warrior who passed through town several weeks ago who promised to help her, but after the dragon attacked the Western watchtower, he was in the service of the Jarl and unlikely to retrieve the tusk. Numerous lay bouts in White run had promised to help her. Even the liar Belathor promised to give her his tusk if she would sleep with him, but much to his amusement and her loss, he had no recollection of the dealing in the pale grey hours of the morning after.

Taking the final mouthful of her mead, Ysolda decided right then and there to help herself.

The next morning, she set out from the town gates, heading west toward Fort Greymoor. She knew from her dealings with Sleeping Tree Sap that there was a lone Giant who lived in Sleeping Tree Cave. She figured it would be easier to have him in the cave, while she scoured the camp for mammoth skulls and hopefully tusks. Typically, giants lived outdoors in nomadic camps set up as they followed their herds, but this giant was different. She did not want to chance giving a giant free-range or running into more than one. She wasn’t even sure running into a 12-foot, grey humanoid was such a good idea, but she was desperate for a mammoth tusk and a lone giant, potentially accounted for in a cave seemed her best option.

By nightfall on the fourth day, Ysolda reached the outskirts of Sleeping Tree Camp. She was tired, her denim and leather dress dusty from the road, but she was also exhilarated at being faced with possibility of collecting the object that could be the answer to all her problems. Crouching behind a boulder, she observed the camp. She saw a raging bonfire surrounded by wooden posts with strange carvings and paint marks. She could smell the mammoth herd nearby, probably over the next hill. She noticed large bowls with cloth covers on rocks near the fire, and a large wooden chest with more markings. She did not see the giant.

Ysolda crept from her hiding spot after ten minutes and moved closer to the camp. Moving silently, but deftly she wandered past a stone block that also had more of the carvings and paint. The only illumination was the fire and the clear light of the half moons. She began to quickly look around at the ground covering, seeing numerous bones and skulls.

Turn of the 19th Century Skyrim

I love old Fantasy but I admit I would like to see it in a new setting (an AU).
A turn of the 19th Century Skyrim filled with lords, ladies, balls and those dresses and such. Basically the time of Pride and Prejudice when wars were fought with words and letters of rent. The Dragonborn could be a new lord/lady on the scene having inherited a state or such (I mean, this is an AU and Skyrim is pretty gender equal so I imagine lasses inherit) or just some sort of romance between a woman of lesser birth and perhaps a lord (The Thalmor all come to mind for being in such a class).

Something fun like that. It seems like it would fit Skyrim with a lot of the characters in it.

Ok, so while I was exploring, I ran into a fort called Fellglow Keep with necromancers, ice mages, conjurers, bloody corpses, torture racks... and dead caged vampires, several ancient vampires among them. I truly wondered what happened to them. And so the kink begins here.

I'd love to see those mad mages torturing these poor starving and shivering vampires (let's snatch their fangs, carve a fire rune on their skin ect.) Why? Dunno, it's up to you anon to tell me the reason of such horror.

Would OP be averse to the vampires being set loose to take vengeance on their captors by the DB at the end of it? Because while my DBs aren't too fond of the undead on general principle, they always set the vampires free whenever they go through Fellglow Keep on the College of Winterhold questline (though on my last playthough, which had me going through the questline late-game as a tank warrior out to get one of the words of the Slow Time shout, the vampires didn't last too long against the leveled mages, and so I had to finish them off myself). Perhaps the DB has memories of the Silver Hand from the Companions questline and what they liked to do to werewolves.

F!NPC & M!NPCs - Svana Fair-Shield/Ungrien and Valindor

Svana Fair-Shield/Ungrien and Valindor - Nord/Bosmers

Okay, so far we players know that Svana is possibly put off sex.
We know from Haelga's overly enthusiastic practices of the Dibellian arts - the poor girl must have overhead her aunt and lover(s) while she is cleaning -, and the lecherous customers who grope her and say horrendous things to her.

Ungrien and Valindor, the two Wood Elves who live in the Bunk House and respect Svana, can sense and pity the poor young Nord's misjudgement on sex.

The Bosmers plan to rectify this by telling Svana how her judgement and knowledge is lacking and not entirely true. Forget that Prince Charming of hers rotting away in luxury in the Riften Jail (yes, I'm referring to Sibbi Black-Briar).
